Best File-Sharing Apps to Consider in 2023

Long gone are those days when file-sharing apps were mostly considered just a caprice. Nowadays, we need those apps for file-sharing more than we need to breathe, as we may never know when we need to get our photos on our laptop from a phone, get a specific project from our phone to our desktop PC, and so on. How about that situation when a friend asks us to give him the photos we’ve taken at a party, for instance?

In all those situations, having file-sharing apps installed and running on both your smartphone and PC is a ‘must.’ But surely, it can become a bit confusing what file-sharing app to use when there are so many options available out there. Let’s see which are the best file-sharing apps that you could consider:

WhatsApp

Why not use the good old WhatsApp when you need to share a file from one phone to another? Anybody uses this app nowadays, as it’s more than just an instant messaging and video-calling app. It also lets you share files with others, and pretty much any type of file will qualify. You can use WhatsApp to send documents, photos, or even videos.

WhatsApp is even available as a desktop app, and once you install it, you are free to send files from your phone to your laptop/desktop PC or vice-versa.

Telegram

You have probably already heard people saying that Telegram could be a good placeholder for WhatsApp. That’s because Telegram is also an instant messaging app, and it also offers end-to-end encryption. But as another similarity to WhatsApp, Telegram also offers secure file-sharing, which means that you can easily use it to pass your favorite files from one device to another. Alternatively, if you and your friend both have Telegram installed and running on your phones, you can use the app to send photos from your latest birthday parties, for instance.

Send Anywhere

Are you also tired of those situations when you can’t send a specific video to someone just because you two have different devices at your disposal? That’s where the Send Anywhere app comes in handy, as its name suggests. This software can be used from just about anywhere and can send files to pretty much any device. That’s because we’re talking about a cross-platform app that can also ensure secure and rapid file transfers. What more could you ask for?

Google Drive

Let’s suppose you have been working on a project you’ve saved on Google Drive, such as an e-book. You need to pass the e-book to someone else to bring their own contribution to it, as you two are co-authors, such as Robert Kiyosaki did alongside Donald Trump when they wrote a book. Sending that e-book directly from the same platform you’ve been using to edit it sounds like a better idea than first getting the book inside another app before sending it to your friend, right?

In other words, Google Drive is not just a cloud service – it’s also a file-sharing app that you can easily use across devices. Teamwork and efficient document management are two important tasks that can be done pretty well with the help of Google Drive.

How about your own favorite file-sharing apps, which one do you prefer and why? Feel free to tell us in a comment below, along with your opinions on our own selections, if that’s what you want!
