The New Oppo Find X Would Be the First Smartphone In The World To Boast 10 GB RAM

TENAA, China’s regulatory body that certifies smartphones before they are released, has revealed that a new version of Oppo Find X is just around the corner, which will be equipped with 10 GB of RAM, making it the first mobile phone to have such tremendous memory. Currently, the maximum RAM we can find in mobile devices is 8 GB.

Although in recent times there have been rumors that some models would arrive with 10 GB of RAM, for example, the ASUS ROG Phone, at the moment no mobile phone has reached the market with more than 8 GB of RAM. That could change soon with the release of the new version of Oppo Find X.

The renowned Ice Universe, known for its history of successful leaks in the mobile industry, has been the first to detect the TENAA report that says the new variant of the terminal will have 10 GB of RAM. Later, the guys from Gizmochina confirmed that this is the truth, as the full list of TENAA specifications for the Oppo Find X (model PAFM00), which updated yesterday, now reveals a 10 GB RAM Oppo Find X variant.

Oppo Find X to be the first smartphone to come out with 10 GB RAM

According to the TENAA file, the rest of the specifications of the new version of Oppo Find X with 10 GB RAM would be the same as the original model. Therefore, the new Oppos Find X variant would boast a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen without edges, at a resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels, which doesn’t have a notch thanks to a motorized camera that unfolds and hides at will.

The first 10 GB RAM smartphone would also pack a Snapdragon 845 processor, the most performant CPU in the smartphone industry so far. The new Oppo Find X also has 256 GB of internal storage.

On the downside, however, the new Chinese smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo only.

The front retractable camera has a 25-MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 3D scanner for facial recognition. On the back, the new Oppo Find X boasts a dual camera system with 16-MP and 20-MP sensors, scene detection with autofocus, IOS and LED flash, which records 4K video at 30 fps.
