Last Friday, the famous leaks site SlashLeaks revealed the upcoming Samsung folding smartphone in a new video. According to the before-mentioned website, Samsung Vietnam leaked the official presentation footage of the forthcoming Samsung foldable smartphone and the anniversary flagship smartphone, Galaxy S10 lineup. But, surprisingly, the Vietnamese subsidiary of the South Korean tech giant also revealed a next-gen tablet. It seems that the tablet leaked by the source mentioned above would also be launched on February 20th, along with Galaxy F and Galaxy S10 series.

The main piece of the presentation would be undoubtedly the Samsung Galaxy F folding smartphone. It is the first of its kind in the world, and since Samsungs design it, it would be a successful device, most likely. But, we won’t know for sure until February 20th when the South Korean tech giant would reveal everything about it.

Besides Galaxy F and the anniversary Galaxy S10 lineup, about which many leaks and information came out online, Samsung is also planning to launch a next-gen tablet, also leaked thanks to the tech giant’s Vietnamese subsidiary.

In the leaked video of the first Samsung folding smartphone, the Galaxy F device, we can also see a Samsung next-gen flagship tablet with almost no bezels. It also appears wider than the current-gen 10.5-inch Samsung Tab S4 and even with a larger screen than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

As the leaked video indicated, this Samsung next-gen flagship tablet, along with the first Samsung folding smartphone and the anniversary Galaxy S10 lineup, would also come out during the “Unpacked” event which would take place on February 20th, 2019, in San Francisco.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Leaked Images Confirmed “Hole-Punch” Displays

Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup, the anniversary flagship that the South Korean company would launch soon, is only less than a month away. The series would roll out in two separated events scheduled for February 20th, 2019, and which would take place in San Francisco and London. But, lately, dozens of rumors and leaks on the device emerged on the Internet. The most recent Samsung Galaxy S10 leaked images confirmed the “hole-punch” displays.

AllAboutSamsung, a German tech news portal, revealed a set of photos of the yet unreleased Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, showing that both the devices would come out with “hole-punch” displays.  That technology, called “Infinity-O” by the South Korean company, is allowing smartphones to have very thin bezels.

From the Samsung Galaxy S10 leaked images, we can also learn that the upcoming flagship smartphones would come with a USB-C port and a headphone jack, despite the rumors that Samsung would ditch the 3.5-mm port.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Leaked Images Confirmed “Hole-Punch” Displays

“In contrast to the Galaxy S10+, the Galaxy S10 only has a front camera on the front side, which is located in the display of both devices instead of above in the upper frame. Both devices come with a USB type C port and fortunately with a 3.5mm jack plug to listen to music,” the German site reported.

“On the back, there are three cameras this time, which are arranged next to each other. We haven’t received any further information on the specifications here – it’s quite possible that the specs published in July 2018 will remain the same. The boot logo will probably change by the way – the above devices are two prototypes We will try to get more pictures in the next days,” the German site continued.

We will find out more about the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup on February 20th when the new flagship smartphones of the South Korean tech giant would come out.

Samsung Galaxy S10’s In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Won’t Work With Screen Protectors

According to the latest rumors, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 would disappoint those of you who plan to use the Samsung’s anniversary flagship smartphone with screen protectors to avoid scratching the device’s display. More specifically, Samsung Galaxy S10’s in-display fingerprint sensor won’t work with screen protectors.

While the implementation of an in-display fingerprint sensor in the upcoming Galaxy S10 series was well-received by the Samsung’s fans, now they would have to use that feature without screen protectors because, otherwise, the reader would not work. That’s a minus for users who would not be able to protect their S10 devices from scratches, although Samsung said that the S10’s display is already protected.

“We have tested our cases on real Galaxy S10 phones. The in-display fingerprint does not support screen protector. So our vanguard will have no built-in screen protector,” reported Armadilotek, a cases and screen protectors manufacturer, on Twitter.

Samsung Galaxy S10’s In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Won’t Work With Screen Protectors

If we are to believe Armadilotek folks, who claimed to have tested their screen protectors on real Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones, then screen protectors are blocking the ultrasonic fingerprint sensors on Galaxy S10 devices. Accordingly, we can use screen protectors only if we are ready to give up using the in-display fingerprint sensor and opt for other lock options.

But it’s too early to start worrying about it. We don’t know which materials Armadilotek tested on Galaxy S10 smartphones. Also, we have no clue on how thick were the screen protectors the company probed. Nonetheless, Samsung itself might launch its own series of screen protectors of Galaxy S10 lineup.

For the moment, be it as it may, as we’ll find out everything we need about this topic and many others on February 20th, 2019, when Samsung is planning to launch its anniversary Galaxy S10 series, along with its folding smartphone, Galaxy F.
