Samsung Galaxy S11 in the Future, Maybe a Samsung Galaxy S20

We know that history is there to give us a lesson right? Do you remember the Huawei P10? After its success, we were expecting the P11. However, the company skipped a few numbers and delivered us the P20 and the P20 Pro.

Richard Yu, the company’s CEO, offered a pretty good explanation as to why that happened. Because they thought that the new version is far better than the P10, they felt that just adding another digit won’t do the new product any justice. That’s how they got up to 20.

July 20th delivered us quite a blow, that we might not see another Galaxy S beyond the S10. Maybe Samsung is shifting its focus on something completely different, like a phone that folds or that looks like a Note but there’s yet another possibility which might be Samsung’s changing its naming convention.

It wouldn’t be the first time that Samsung pulled this on us. In August 2011, when the company introduced the S family of products it became an official naming convention. However, Samsung already had R, W, M, and Y, which means that it could happen again.

In South Korea and the European Union Samsung has registered the A10, A30, A50 and A70 which means that, after Samsung A8, we can expect an A10 or an A30 and so on. This is another clue that the company might try to release a Samsung S20, followed by, perhaps, an S30.

The Galaxy 9 and the Galaxy Note 9 represent the last models featuring a single digit representative. The name convention change could happen in 2020, which is yet another reason for the company to deliver an S20 at the mark of a new decade.

There are even some voices that speak about Samsung opting for simplifying the device names, for example Samsung A30 or Samsung S40. However, since Samsung invested a lot of time and money on furnishing the Galaxy brand, it seems unlikely that this scenario would happen.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Seen With A Broken Screen

It was only a matter of time before the first Galaxy Note 9 images appeared online from someone who had access to the phone before the official announcement. Unfortunately, these images are not impressive, showing the phone in a rather… unpleasant state. This seems to confirm many of the rumors so far, but it might suggest that it does not use the new Gorilla Glass 6 as the image unit is photographed with the glass on the screen already broken.

The information that can be extracted from these photos is that the back of the device really underwent the most changes, ie the dual camera system was now positioned above the fingerprint sensor. Otherwise, the phone looks almost identical to Galaxy Note 8 from last year. Being a black unit, which is quite standard, we cannot know what other colors Samsung has prepared, so far only the blue version is present in the images dropped on the internet.

On the front however, the phone has a cracked screen. There are already speculations suggesting that it is a display protection applied over the original one, but by looking at the edges of the phone, they are similar on both sides and there seem to be no cuts to the cameras and sensors on the front. Thus, this situation does not give much confidence in Samsung’s new phone in terms of shock resistance, but we do not even know why it was used before photos.

It is possible that this unit has even been used to test shock resistance, and the cracks are the result of several successive falls. Of course, there is a possibility that the one who got this prototype has dropped it. Unfortunately, for the one who launched the online images, several markers that can drive the unit were visible in the images, even if the IMEI and serial code were hidden. Ironically, the “do not leak info” message on the back is also visible.

The latter might suggest that we are dealing with a false photo, the message being specially added. Until Aug. 9 we will not know for sure whether this is really the final design of Galaxy Note 9 and what kind of glass Samsung uses in its construction. Considering that Gorilla Glass 6 was just been announced, there is little chance that Samsung will get components from Corning so fast. However, being the number one smartphone on the market, there is an opportunity for an understanding between the two companies.

Samsung Might Beat Apple with its Series of Three Galaxy S10

As stated by a lot of tech bloggers and leaks sites, 2019 will be Samsung’s year. The South Korean company is hurrying to launch Galaxy S10, its flagship in three different sizes.

For the past few generations of Samsung high-end handsets, we have been used to receiving two sizes of such a phone, the big one, and the entry-level mini version. Ming-Chi Kuo, the TF International analyst, gave Business Insider a prediction of Samsung launching three variant of the Galaxy S10 in order to match Apple and its series of three iPhones.

The sizes expected of the Samsung Galaxy S10, says Kuo, are supposed to be 6.4, 6.1 and 5.8 inches. In order to buck Samsung’s trend of placing the sensor on the rear panel for it to facilitate the accommodation of the Galaxy’s Infinite Display from the past two generations, the two larger phones will be featuring ultrasonic in-display fingerprint readers. The entry-level device’s fingerprint reader will be mounted on the side. The Bell, the Korean news site, has also stated that this will happen to help S10 with security features.

The users of the large version of Samsung Galaxy S10 will benefit from the 3D front camera for facial recognition and three other cameras. With this feature, Samsung has the chance to beat Huawei and its tri-camera P20 Pro who wears the crown at the moment in DxoMark’s top spot.

Another rumor the public is excited about is the appearance of Galaxy X. This model is said to be a foldable one, and Consumer Electronics Show 2019 from next January might be the host of its announcement. Even though this sounds so innovative, it might not make Samsung fans get $2,000 out of their pockets for this device.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Tipped to Sport Triple Camera Setup

One year from now will check the 10-year commemoration for the Samsung Galaxy S series, and we anticipate that some huge highlights will be presented on the Samsung Galaxy S10. The cell phone is required to wear a bezel-less display with no score, have an in-display unique fingerprint, and 3D Face Unlock also. Presently, a crisp break recommends that the cell phone will touch base in three variations, and the most premium variation will wear a triple camera setup at the back, similar to the Huawei P20 Pro.

This new data originates from South Korean distribution ETNews, and it asserts that the base Samsung Galaxy S10 variation will have a level 5.8-inch display. The other variation will likewise highlight a 5.8-inch show with bended edges like the one seen on the Samsung Galaxy S9, and that the third variation will have an expansive 6.2-inch display, much the same as the Samsung Galaxy S9+, with a triple camera focal point setup at the back. The report does not insight about the determinations of this triple focal point camera. To review, even the most premium variation of the 2018 iPhone – the iPhone X Plus – is tipped to accompany a triple focal point camera.

In the event that this report is precise, at that point this will be the first run through Samsung will consolidate such a camera. Moreover, this will likewise be the first run through the organization will dispatch three variations of the Galaxy S series. The organization began two variations when it presented the Edge show on the Samsung Galaxy S6, and afterward renamed it in 2017, by calling its S-series telephones as Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

In any case, we suggest you take all holes with a squeeze of salt, as nothing is legitimate starting at yet, and the Galaxy S10 official dispatch is too far away. Ongoing reports propose that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will substitute the iris scanner for in-display unique finger impression scanner, and present 3D Face Unlock too, as an other validation technique.
