Snapchat Entirely Rebuilt Android App Is Finally Available

Since 2017, to be precise, Evan Spiegel, the CEO of Snapchat, kept making promises that the much-maligned Snapchat Android app will get a complete rebuild, but that wait feels like an eternity. He proclaimed about two months ago, in February, that before the end of the year the new app would be released, these eliciting feelings of pure euphoria in the app’s fans. However, in the end, the new dawn of Snapchat on Android is finally upon us.

During the Snap Partner Summit 2019 the other day a lot of new features have been announced, and on the heels of the raft of them, Snapchat made an announcement through Twitter that the “new, faster” app is ready to go. The message was completed with an adorable little GIF.

The app should be lighter and faster in the end and not suffer from the performance issues of its predecessor.

Snapchat Bans Users with Jailbroken iPhones

The social media app recognizes the jailbreaking tool as a third-party program and it automatically bans the user. The reason why Snapchat bans people who use jailbroken iPhones is that third-party apps go against Snapchat’s terms of service.
