A year ago Konami released the mobile adaptation of its successful soccer titles, Pro Evolution Soccer, with PES 2018. Now, almost a year later, the company has announced that instead of releasing a new app, they have decided to upgrade it to the new PES 2019 for iOS and Android.
With this update to PES 2019, the game will use the Unreal Engine 4, which will be a more than notable improvement in the graphics section, and will be accompanied by improved animations and movements of the ball, which aim for a more fluid and realistic action.
As Konami stated, “graphics fidelity is so precise that consistency in the level of detail during matches is assured.”
PES 2019 for mobile devices will come out with a new feature
But that’s not all! According to the developer, the game will include a new feature called “Live Update,” which will consist of an automatic and weekly update of the players, which means that the game will be kept up to date with the aesthetic changes of the players (such as hair or tattoos).
Also, this weekly update introduces the so-called “Featured” bonuses, which will be applied to those in-game soccer players who have maintained good performance in their last real-life matches.
For the time being, only the positive part of this bonus has been confirmed, but, in the future, some penalty could be applied for poor performance, as it’s already happening in FIFA, the Pro Evolution Soccer’s fierce competitor.
PES 2019 for iOS and Android will launch in December
Last but not least, PES 2019 will have no energy limit, which means we can do as much as we want, without any daily or weekly match limits.
PES 2019 will be available for download from the Google Play and App Store during December, and it will be completely free, although it will come with in-app paid content.
