Red Dead Redemption 2 To Feature 50 Unique Weapons

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in a Wild West open world, and the best part of this would be the lawlessness that describes that period of the American history. And the Wild West, with its anarchy and all, is about killing. And, luckily, there would be tons of ways to kill others in the new Rockstar game since Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature 50 unique weapons.

RockstarIntel.com reported that on Twitter where they said that “there are over 50 weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2.”

As you may remember, the first Red Dead Redemption title featured 36 different weapons, after a DLC, while the Red Dead Revolver only boasted 28 guns. Now, the third installment in the franchise is about to feature 50 since the beginning, a figure which might get higher eventually with the launch of DLCs.

And, as Rockstar Games is commonly doing it, we’ll have some realistic-looking weapons designed in great detail in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out this month

The new western game in the Red Dead Redemption series will launch on October 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while there is nothing revealed about the PC and Nintendo Switch release.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is set in America, 1899. According to the official synopsis, “the end of the Wild West era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.”

As for the storyline of the upcoming installment of the renowned Rockstar Games franchise, the same official synopsis says the following.

“After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.”

What’s certain at this point is that the new Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature 50 unique weapons, while the plot promises for a fascinating story.
