There are less than two weeks left before one of the significant events of the year in the gaming industry, the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And if about a month ago there was news that the Rockstar’s title on PlayStation 4 would occupy about 105 Gb, now, we find out that Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would hold about 88 Gb.
Recently, the official Red Dead Redemption 2 web page has been updated within the Xbox store, and we can now see there more details about the upcoming title. According to the site, the game will need approximately 88 Gb free internal storage space on the Microsoft console for the installation package.
Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would occupy 88 Gb which might be a problem for Xbox One 500 Gb owners
It seems that Rockstar has not yet made any official comment on this information, but some Xbox One users may find such a download size somewhat tedious. Accordingly, those who will suffer the most will be those who own the 500 Gb variant of Xbox One, as they will have to prepare their console for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 since it would occupy about a fifth of the storage space they have.
And, while there’s nothing left to be revealed ahead of the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date and the franchise’s fans are quite anxious, Rockstar tries to calm people down by gradually announcing new features within the game. Thus Rockstar showed that it would include the possibility of playing without following the map for the missions and the new customization of weapons depending on the gamers’ taste, among others.
Also, Rockstar gave “life” to each place on the in-game map so that the player would feel immersed in the storyline of the game. Although there’s almost no need to remember because, if you’re a fan, you’re already counting days, but Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One will launch on October 26th. The PlayStation 4 version would arrive on the same day, too.
