Bowser Substitutes Nintendo America’s President, Reggie Fils-Aime

Nintendo fans received a very shocking news today. Namely, President of Nintendo America, Reggie Fils-Aime is quitting his job. In his place, there would come Doug Bowser, a fact that created a lot of buzz among Nintendo fans. Bowser is the name of the supervillain, King of Koopas, in the Super Mario Bros. franchise.

In 2003, Fils-Aime joined Nintendo America as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Later, in 2006, he became the president of Nintendo America. Now, about 13 years from that moment, Reggie Fils-Aime decided to quit his job and retire as he feels satisfied with what he has achieved over these years at Nintendo America.

“Nintendo owns a part of my heart forever. It’s a part that is filled with gratitude – for the incredibly talented people I’ve worked with, for the opportunity to represent such a wonderful brand, and most of all, to feel like a member of the world’s most positive and enduring gamer community. As I look forward to departing in both good health and good humor, this is not game over for me, but instead leveling up to more time with my wife, family, and friends,” said Reggie Fils-Aime.

Bowser Is The President Of Nintendo America, As Reggie Fils-Aime Quitted

Nintendo fans are shocked that a guy name Bowser came in as the new CEO of Nintendo America. Many of them believe that Doug Bowser, who is sharing the same name with the supervillain in the Super Mario Bros. franchise, would put an end to the successful era for Nintendo America which has thrived under the guidance of Reggie Fils-Aime.

But, that’s all a coincidence, of course. Reggie Fils-Aime even said that the best guy to take his place as President of Nintendo America is this one, Doug Bowser. And I believe that Fils-Aime is not making any mistakes. However, Nintendo fans already started joking around about Bowser and how he’ll destroy Super Mario Bros. franchise as he is the supervillain, right? Not going to happen, though.
