Clash of Clans Creators, Supercell, To Launch A New Fast-Paced Action Mobile Game, Brawl Stars

Supercell, which is famous for its mobile game Clash of Clans, is set to release a new game for mobiles in December – Brawl Stars. To make the fans interested in the new title, Supercell published the first trailer of the upcoming game and opened up the pre-registration.

Just like the Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, both two of the most popular mobile games ever, the upcoming game, called Brawl Stars, will also be an online multiplayer game. You can see how it looks like in the official presentation video that Supercell launched yesterday.

But the details of the game are still trying to keep the creator under the lid, even though, in some countries, Brawl Stars is already available for beta testers, reportedly.

However, Supercell would officially launch the game in December, but the fans can already pre-register on the Supercell website and obtain preferential access to the Beta version.

Clash of Clans Creators, Supercell, To Launch A New Fast-Paced Action Mobile Game, Brawl Stars

As for the gameplay, the published teaser shows clearly that it will be another fast-paced action game in which players will battle with each other. It can be expected that, just like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, the upcoming Brawl Stars would roll out for free but with in-app purchases.

Supercell, however, gives players the option of exchanging real money for virtual ones. In general, people can improve their characters, assets, or even buildings in the game faster and gain a valuable competitive advantage over other players. Precisely on this principle Supercell made a fortune with the microtransactions recorded by Clash of Clans and Clash Royale titles which both have been recognized as two of the most popular mobile games ever.

However, Supercell also developed other titles, but none of them was as successful as Clash of Clans. Maybe Brawl Stars would do that, finally. Just for the record, Hay Day, Boom Beach, Battle Buddies, Pets vs. Orcs, and Spooky Pop are a few of the mobile games created by Supercell.

Chrome is the most widely used browser, but it also has its own catalog of applications. And it is not only compatible with Chrome as it also works with other browsers, including mobile ones.

It actually looks like a locally executed application. You access Squoosh through its website, from any browser on any device. You can use the example images that are already preloaded, to test it, or upload one from your computer or mobile.

Squoosh has two main functions – compressing and resizing an image. All the tools you need are placed on the right side of the screen. You have several compression algorithms like MozJPG, OptiPNG, and so on, allowing users to compress any pic without losing its quality. Best of all, you can see the image change in real time by sliding a bar over the screen.

Among its projects, which you can consult on Github, there is also a text editor for Chrome and ChromeOS, a filter that turns a website into an artistic box, analysis tools, programming guidelines, and much more. An excellent example of the increasingly versatile applications provided by the Google cloud.

Microsoft Fixed a Windows 10 Zero-Day Vulnerability With The November Patch Tuesday Release

In its latest list of security updates, Microsoft announced, among other things, that it had fixed a Windows 10 zero-day vulnerability discovered by cybersecurity researchers. This vulnerability would have benefited many hackers.

November 13th, 2018, it was the second Tuesday of the month. And the second Tuesday of the month is known as Patch Tuesday, the day when Microsoft unveils its latest security patches for its software. In this newest edition, the firm has fixed a zero-day vulnerability, revealed by the IT security researchers at Kaspersky Lab, a company specializing in computer security.

The Windows 10 zero-day vulnerability would have been actively exploited

The flaw identified concerned the win32k.sys file and could allow malicious users to use it to increase their privileges on 32-bit Windows 7 systems. But for that, according to Microsoft, it was still necessary to be able to install malware on the targeted computers. A difficulty that did not frighten the hackers, since, according to Kaspersky Lab teams, this Windows 10 zero-day vulnerability was already widely exploited by many cybercriminals. It was called Advanced Persistent Threat (APT).

This announcement comes after the fix of another zero-day vulnerability, made in the October Patch Tuesday. The latter was related to win32.sys and had been spotted by Kaspersky Lab, also.

Microsoft has not yet fixed another zero-day vulnerability, though

On the other hand, it seems that Microsoft did not have time to implement another zero-day vulnerability in Windows 10, affecting Windows Data Sharing Service (dssvc.dll). Revealed a few weeks ago, this security flaw can allow a third party to recover data from an SSD disk, bypassing BitLocker’s data encryption, without any passwords required.

Microsoft did provide some tips to its users, however, on how to configure BitLocker to stay protected. In the meantime, Microsoft fixed a severe zero-day vulnerability with its November Patch Tuesday while we already look forward to the future security patch, which should appear on the second Tuesday of December.

Google Maps Would Add a Chat Function To Connect Customers With Businesses

Google has announced a new chat feature for Google Maps that will connect businesses with their customers. Soon you will be able to send messages to your favorite businesses from within Google Maps. Google Maps Chat, therefore, would allow users to send messages to your preferred companies from within the application.

The popular application for maps and GPS navigation, Google Maps, has not stopped evolving. And today the app has so many functions that one can only wonder how far Google can go with that. Some of the new features, however, are very useful, including the ability to organize trips with your friends directly on Maps.

However, now Google Maps Chat might sound weird for some, but it’s a method to keep customers in touch with their favorite businesses. By that, Google Maps now integrates a chat application, accessible via the so-called “hamburger menu” in the top corner of the main app’s screen. Within the new category there, you can view chat history and other related features.

Google Maps Chat: Google Still Struggling To Come Up With A Reliable Instant Messaging App

Google has always tried to release a reliable instant messaging or chat app. Today, only Google Duo remains on the market, enjoying a slight success, while Google Allo has been discontinued in favor of Chat, which should arrive soon as an addition to the Android Messages application.

However, at this time, we have seen that Google has continued to invest in messaging sections within apps such as YouTube or, more recently, Google Maps.

On YouTube, a native chat was set up that allowed you to share videos and comment on them with your Google contacts. And now, Google Maps will soon get a similar, but different, feature. Google Maps chat allows customers to connect with businesses directly from the app to solve issues or make reservations.
