“Fortnite deleted” kind of rumors emerges online from time to time. Now, a huge buzz has been created online by the billionaire Elon Musk, owner of Tesla Motors and SpaceX, and Epic Games, the publisher of the Fortnite game, who have engaged in a little verbal battle on Twitter.

As usual, Elon Musk admitted via a post on Twitter that he is not a big fan of Fortnite Battle Royale. He posted an image of a magazine headline that reads “Elon Musk bought Fortnite and then deleted it.” Next, the billionaire said that it “had to been done, you’re welcome.”

Also, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX stated that he “had to save these children from eternal virginity,” an allusion to the supposed lack of intimate life in Fortnite hard gamers.

Epic Games, the publisher of Fortnite, the most popular game on the planet, at the moment, has not given up and has found a way to respond to Elon Musk’s joke humorously. Epic Games retweeted an article on SpaceX’s predictions for a Mars base and asked “a whole decade, Elon Musk? Just build LOL.”

Musk replied, iterating that “reality is hard.”

The gamers worried about the “Fortnite deleted” rumors triggered by this joke, obviously got involved in this conversation in the same humorous vein. One of them wrote: “Excuse me, Mr. Musk, but I think it’s important for me to say that I lost my virginity after playing Fortnite.” The billionaire replied that “online doesn’t count.”

In other news, now seriously speaking, Fortnite Battle Royale is the most successful title of the moment, totaling millions of player on all platforms. Also, the Fortnite for iOS grossed a total of $300 million worldwide, according to a recent Sensor Tower.

Best Features for an Improved WhatsApp Experience

New features are being worked on for the WhatsApp messaging platform. We have previously heard about the picture-in-picture (PiP) mode and also the introduction of Stickers, but apparently, that was not enough for the Facebook-owned platform. It looks like features such as Silent mode and Vacation mode will be introduced as well so the chatting experience will be improved.

Based on Wabetainfo’s report, we can say that the Vacation mode feature for WhatsApp will offer users a better-archived chat experience. Now, this feature, when you receive or send a message to an archived conversation, it will no longer come back to your actual conversations. However, the chat will need to be opened manually from the archived section.

In addition to that, we will also get a Silent Mode feature. The Silent Mode features hides the app badge for the chats that are muted. The default is already making it available and active. Moreover, the notification count is also hidden for the chats that are in the mute mode, If you have not updated you WhatsApp yet, it means that the notification count is still one for the chats in mute mode so you will need to update your app if you want to take advantage of the new features.

Furthermore, WhatsApp has also planned to add an account linking support for the most public social media platform, which will be located under the Profile Settings.

Another modified aspect regarding the chatting app is the fact that the delete for everyone feature has also been modified. Now, the message will be deleted based on the answer it gets during 13 hours, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds window when you can change your mind.

Chrome OS To Enhance Android and Google Assistant Integration

Chrome OS runs Android apps for some time now, as it is running Android 7 Nougat as a subsystem within it. Now, since Android Nougat emerged on the market two years ago, it would be replaced with Android 9 Pie instead of Android 8 Oreo. And that’s precisely what Google wants to do to enhance Android and Google Assistant integration.

And Android 9 Pie comes with a lot of new and useful features in comparison with Android 8 Oreo. So, Chromebooks would be better with Android Pie. Even though Google still has many features to present regarding the new Chrome OS version, two further changes are noteworthy.

First, as displayed on Chrome Unboxed, the new Settings app on the new Canary channel release looks similar to what we have on Android tablets or phones. However, it seems like having a lot more dead space than in previous versions, which is not quite fascinating, but, hopefully, in the Beta or full version, the Settings section would be revamped to match the Chromebooks’ screens.

With this new way, Google Assistant is much straightforwardly to use, view, read its content, and interact with it.

The Google Pixel Slate also revealed a similar Google Assistant approach, so it’s not entirely clear if the new Assistant UI would eventually arrive on Beta or Stable channels for more Android-based devices, but reveals that Chrome OS system is continuously evolving.

Bitfinex, thus, positions itself as the sixth USDT holder, according to data released by CNBC’s Ran Neuner on his Twitter account, noting that Binance is the platform with the highest amount of Tether (USDT), after the stable coin’s treasury. He adds that this situation could mean that Bitfinex has lost many customers or that its clients are exchangingTether for other cryptocurrencies.

Neuner’s statistics are based on an analysis published on October 19th by the firm Element Group which evaluated the situation of the most popular stable coin in the market.

The analysts of the before-mentioned firm highlight the lack of information of the Bitfinex exchange regarding its situation and that of Tether and draw attention to the latest movements made by Bitfinex, which has transferred a large part of Tether (USDT) tokens to the Tether treasury.

Bitfinex crypto exchange is experiencing a bleak period, according to some analysts

“Since October 3rd, Bitfinex has sent a total of 690 million Tether tokens from Bitfinex’s Tether wallet to the Tether Treasury. That has reduced the current supply from about $2.8 billion to $2.1 billion in a short time. Therefore, Bitfinex has spent considerable resources to defend the Tether bond and, in the absence of this buying pressure, it is likely that Tether (USDT) has crashed even further and provokes, even further, the sale in the wider cryptocurrency market,” Element Group reported.

The firm speculates that this situation could be related to the problems that Tether (USDT) and Bitfinex appear to be experiencing in securing a stable banking relationship. That is based on information published at the beginning of October that Noble Bank was looking for buyers and had lost several of its clients, including Tether and Bitfinex.

Fears suggest that the USDT stable coin does not have sufficient support or that Bitfinex is in a state of insolvency.
