Following Trump’s Space Force Decision – The Idea of Having a Space Guard Appeals to People

A recent declaration made by Trump states that there will be a reorganization of the space mission into a separate Space Force. This would be the sixth branch of the armed forces. However, if any major changes are to be made to the space mission, which is now entrusted mainly to the Air Force, then an act of Congress will be required.

According to what we know so far, it looks like Trump would like to have a stand-alone branch of the military, in order to make sure that both Russia and China will be discouraged from threatening America’s dependence on space technologies for commerce and defense. Like this, the idea of a Space Guard is born. The concept of a Space Guard is mostly molded on that of a Coast Guard, with the obvious difference that the former one would be used to “guard” the space.

Having a Space Guard could be good for managing future space activities internationally

It seems that this idea is slowly starting to make people wonder how it would be like to have such a system in place. Military strategists are thinking about how the existence of a Space Guard would impact a possible civilian space economy. The military may not be suited to handle private space stations and tourism. Apart from this, people from the Trump administration are also giving some thought to the idea. Electra Jailbreak Download Available For iOS 11.2 – 11.3.1

The jailbreak community has been waiting for the Electra1131 release for a while. But now, it’s finally available, and anyone who wants to use the tool for iOS 11.2 – 11.3.1, can now download it.

On 7 July, the team behind Electra announced on Twitter that they have released the Electra jailbreak for iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.3.1. Anyone who wants it can download it from the following link: coolstar.org/electra/. You can download it as an IPA file, and then sideload it with Cydia Impactor.

The jailbreak tool comes in two versions. One is suitable for developers, which follows an exploit (multipath tcp exploit), and asks for a developer account. The other version is regular, using a vcf exploit, and it doesn’t need a developer account.

Many users replied to Electra Team’s Twitter post about the release. Some of them reported a few technical issues with the iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool. Among the common problems, a few said that the jailbreak doesn’t work, while others said that it works after a few tries. A user said that when he started to jailbreak the pone, it kept restarting the device, and other users said they had the same problem.

The jailbreak has a 30% success rate, with some users who wrote that they could successfully jailbreak their phone. For one user, it took 25 tries to finally jailbreak the device. He said that he could do it with the “app switcher” open and force closed Electra each time he retried.

Viber is Joining Other Communication Apps by Getting Ready to Support a Native Token

Several communication apps have already entered the cryptosphere and now Viber is planning to join them. These days, the firm is developing support for a native token and it looks like this new feature will be launched by the app’s parent company, Rakuten Coin.

Viber was launched in 2014 and now reached the impressive number of 1 billion users worldwide. Considering this success, the parent company announced that it is thinking about launching its cryptocurrency, also called Rakuten Coin in 2019. Their intention is based on the loyalty program conducted in February. Surprisingly, Rakuten wants to launch the token via Viber in Russia and now they are studying the Russian laws.

According to Tass, a Russian news agency, Djamel Agaoua, Viber’s Chief Executive Officer declared that very soon people will be able to send and trade Rakuten Coins against rubles, dollars and euros. He added that transfers to bank accounts might also be possible, but it depends on Russian law.

Viber is not the only communication app that is getting into the crypto market. Others have already made this step. Kik Messenger has a little over 300 million users and increased popularity among teenagers.
