BlueStacks Update Boosts Performance

Getting Android on your PC is not impossible, and in the past years there have been many programs that could help you do that, including Anbox, Console OS and Remix OS, Android X86 and GenyMotion. However, BlueStacks remains the most popular choice.

New update

Version 4 update for BlueStacks was announced, and it appears that it has many enhancements. The fourth version of BlueStacks brings several improvements that are meant to boost the performance of the program.

According to the company, the performance of BlueStacks 4 will be 8 times faster compared to the performance of BlueStacks 3. Additionally, the performance of this version will be 6 times faster than that of Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The update also brings BlueStacks Store and BlueStacks Points. You can earn these points by playing games on BlueStacks and then you can use them to purchase items from the BlueStacks Store. There are many things that you can choose, including the exclusive Pro Gamer Series of gaming tools.

Keymapping is also improved in this version. For example, you will see distinct categories for Key Controls, which should make it easier for you to navigate. You will also be able to use the Game Controls Window to manage key controls The UI went through some changes as well. For example, you will be able to use add-on features such as Quests and BlueStacks Store.

Are Clash of Clans Players Getting More Annoyed or Angry?

Clash of Clans is both a free and premium mobile game which was published by the Finnish game developer Supercell. The iOS version of the game was the first to be released on 2nd of August 2012, and sometime later the Android version was released too on 7th of October 2013.

The game will introduce you in a persistent world with a fantasy theme and make you the chief of a village. Clash of Clans makes you build your town using the resources you gain from attacking other players, a feature enabled by the game’s fighting mini-games. Gold, dark elixir and elixir are the primary resources. If you are more like a team player, you can join a clan and conquer every Clan War together while changing opinion and developing long-term friendships.

The game does not sound so hard, but there are moments when you wind and moments when you lose. To be more specific, when you are a loser it is harder for you to accept the idea that your trophies got stoled and that you could not take care of them.

There is a topic going on at the moment on a Clash of Clans forum where players talk about what makes them angry or annoyed in the game. However, this game teaches you patience from its core to the ends while making you wait for updates or resources…

Some players have said that they only get angry when they lose and otherwise the Clash of Clans’ long updates are great for them because they can take a break from the game, reset their minds and come back stronger.

Star Trek Vulcan Planet Found by Researchers

One of the things that made the Star Trek series great was the variety of characters and planets.

The Dharma Planet Survey has published a new American-lead study that brings fiction a bit closer to reality as astronomers may have stumbled upon the iconic planet Vulcan.

The new planet is classified as a super-Earth type, as its size is twice the size of Earth. It is the closest super-Earth planet found, being situated at approximately 16 light-years from the Blue Planet. It spends 43 days of its orbit in the habitable zone of its star so life may be found on its surface.

The star it orbits, HD26965, shares some characteristics with our Sun as researchers think it has the same age.  It is a bit smaller and cooler, but its 10.1-year magnetic cycle is similar to our own solar cycle. Star Trek fans may think of it as the Eridani A, according to some of the researchers. Vulcan was linked to Eridani A in officially printed material such as Star Trek 2 by James Blish. Gene Roddenberry, the creator of the franchise, has formally acknowledged that Vulcan orbits Eridani A in a letter sent to magazine in 1991. It is noted in the letter that the Eridani 40 star system is composed of one main star and two companions smaller stars. Vulcan orbits the major stars and the other ones are visible on the sky and shine beautifully.

In the original Star Trek series, Vulcan is identified as the origin planet of Science Officer Spock.

The planet was identified using the Dharma Endowment Foundation Telescope, located on the top of Mount Lemmon in Arizona. It is the first super-Earth planet identified by the Dharma Survey initiative.

The star can be freely observed with the naked eye, so curious Star Trek fans do not need specialized equipment in order to observe it. The Dharma Survey will continue its work, hoping to find new and interesting worlds.

GTA VI Release Date Speculations and Leaks

With GTA V being the beloved Rockstar title, many wonders when GTA VI will see the light of day.

There is no official information from Rockstar that they are working on a sequel, and they may have good reasons to keep it a secret.

Read Dead Redemption 2 will release next month. The open-world western game sequel took almost a decade be made as Rockstar aims to please the fans of the original. Announcing a GTA sequel now is counter-intuitive, as it would immediately shift the focus from Read Dead Redemption 2, and hurt the potential sales at the same time.

Another critical factor is that Rockstar usually focuses on one title at a time, refining the product until it reaches their established standard, and they are not afraid to take their time in order to deliver a masterpiece. A large part of the studio is also still focused on developing DLC for GTA V Online, five years after the initial launch. Over the course of these years multiple DLCs and expansions have added hours of free content, but they also took valuable time to make, another reason for that may have caused the delay of GTA VI. It took three years after the launch of GTA Online to announce RDR 2.  If RDR 2 has a similar component, the announcement of a GTA sequel may take place beyond 2020.

As the title appears to be in development limbo, fans crowd the forum with ideas and demands for it. A large segment demands that GTA VI should receive post-launch single-player content, which was skipped for GTA V as both Rockstar and 2K claimed that the single-player experience is already complete and there is nothing more to add.

Some demand more customizations features, including the ability to create your own character, one of the key aspects the made rival franchise Saints Row so popular. Other fans hope that it will be the first GTA to take place in another country, or even have a female protagonist.

What will come remains to be seen as Red Dead Redemption 2 hits stores on the October 26.
