Do you Want to be a Clash of Clans Dominator? Here are the Tips you Need

As you might know, already Clash of Clans is a premium free game of raiding, armies, building, and other activities war based.

It was released in 2012, and since then both Android and iOS users adored it as it was never under the 3rd place in top games.

Newbies, Listen UP!

If you are new to the Clash of Clans, there are a couple of things you should keep in mind.

The gems are expensive to buy, and you should not waste them as they are hard to accumulate as well.

One tip would be to save them and spend them wisely because you do not want to lack them when you need them the most.

In simpler words, if you do not want to pay for them and enjoy the game as it is, everytime you level upkeep you gems and clear terrain for more permanent items. It is not hard at all to get excited and use them for speeding up your production, but a better use for them would be on more permanent items.

In Clash of Clans, Patience is definitely A Virtue

The key aspect of this game is patience as certain upgrades take a lot of time to happen, even over ten days.

In order to make waiting for upgrade and troops less painful, you should combine this game with others so your waiting time will be more comfortable.

Another aim for you is to get more builders who will cost you a lot of gems and right away you should get all five of them. Do not waste any time because your building will be updated quicker if you use them and the progress will become quicker as well.

Setting Up A Solid Base

You can set up your base in various ways, and in order to get rid of the time and resources wasted on finding your own good set up, you can go directly on Youtube and get inspired from there.

Another advantage of Youtube is that they offer players good advice on which layout you should use based on what goals you want to achieve.

Get More Gold and Elixir

If you want to progress in this game the only way is to upgrade and get as many resources as possible.

Elixir and gold, the resources, can be got in different ways such as getting them from collector buildings, raid another player’s camo with your troops and steal all they have, and many more. The single player goblin map can also help you get some elixir and gold.

Raiding In Clash of Clans: DOs and DONTs

Finding a desirable base to raid might be a long process. If this is happening to you, in order to get a better choice you should lower your league and trophies and if you have already done that then just wait for the best one to come to you. Be patient!

Active war clans are always waiting for members, and you can join one I order to get your hand on more resource. However, keep in mind that if you lose it can become quite expensive. A war resource bonus is offered to both losers and winners of the war, but if you are the winners than you have found the gold pot.

Walk Before You Run

You will see how while the game progresses you will want to level your town hall as high as possible for your troops to move more quickly.

This is a severe mistake you can make, and you will remember it in the long run so keep in mind that you will get less loot from the lower bases as your town hall get higher and higher.

Pick a strategy of defense and offense when you start out and choose what do you want to concentrate on.

Now that you carefully read this tips, it is now the moment to apply them and become one of the best players of Clash of Clans. Do not forget that it will take a while to do so, but it is worth your time and all the risks.

How to Get Rid of the Chrome Software Reporter Tool (software_reporter_tool.exe)

If you monitor the processes that run the machine when you run Google Chrome on a Windows PC, then you may run across the Software Reporter Tool at a certain point. Coming with the executable file software_reporter_tool.exe, the Software Reporter is a tool which is distributed with Google Chrome by the head company.

It represents a part of the Chrome Cleanup Tool, which is a piece of software used by Chrome to remove programs which cause certain issues. Google mentions modified startup, crashes, unexpected advertisement or new tab pages among the specifics. This tool is used to remove anything that might interfere with a user’s browsing experience.

The Software Reporter Tool works by scanning your PC’s drive, after which it will report the findings of these scans to Google. Then, Chrome uses the scans to determine if it should let you know that you have to remove unwanted software from the computer because it might affect your browsing experience.

You might encounter two issues, however, with the Software Reporter Tool. First, it may use a lot of CPU power, more than 30% increases being reported, and then the tool reports to Google, which may cause privacy concerns. So, if you want to block it, here’s how to do it.

The Software Reporter Tool can be found by following this path: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\SwReporter\VERSION\software_reporter_tool.exe.

You should know that, by blocking it, you may prevent Google from getting rid of harmful software but you may use antivirus software to do this job instead. While deleting the folder represents a temporary solution, Google will push it back on your system when your browser is updated.

The better option is to right-click the ‘SwReporter’ folder and go to Properties. Go to the Security tab, select Advanced and then click ‘Disable inheritance’. Select “remove all inherited permissions from this object” and apply. Two ok’s later you are good to go.

New iOS 12.1 Seems to Confirm the Incoming iPad Pro

With the recent release of Apple’s iOS 12.1, we were able to learn more about its new edition called Memoji syncing. This, in turn, seems to hint at the inevitable debut of a new iPad with a TrueDepth camera system, which is expected to take place in autumn, this year. Since only iPhone supports Memoji, it would make sense to extend this feature to iPads, allowing users to sync the characters on both devices. But that’s not all, as iOS 12.1 has given us another clue pointing at the imminent release of new iPad models later this year.

iPad 2018 Fall has been observed in the Setup app

The Setup app provides us with some kind of confirmation of the upcoming iPads’ debut at some point in the autumn, as a new identifier “iPad2018Fall” has been found in the assets that the Setup app is using. The reference to the upcoming iPad was missing in the previous version of the app, which only mentioned iPhones of 2018. This clearly shows that Apple wants to teach the future owners of 2018 iPad how to use the new gestures before they even purchase the new device.

What else do we know about the 2018 iPads

This new identifier pretty much confirms the release of new iPads this autumn, most likely in October, when Apple will host an event presenting the new iPads and Macs. The earlier predictions were usually mentioning September as a month when we will finally see new iPads, but now we know that they were not correct.

In addition to the already mentioned Memoji sync feature, the experts expect the introduction of landscape support for Face ID. Moreover, the Pros version of the new iPad will have USB-C connectivity rather than Lightning, according to a recent report.

The iOS 12 Jailbreak is Nowhere after Alibaba’s Cybersecurity Division

The cybersecurity division of Alibaba suggests that iOS 12 has been successfully jailbroken not so long after the new system upgrade got released to the public by Apple.

They got a video posted on their Weibo account which shows how the team is launching a jailbreak app on an iPhone X which runs on iOS12. After that, the phone was restarted by the team. Then it was a pause and a pop-up screen saying the phone is pwned appeared which was a confirmation that the jailbreak remained in effect. The iPhone from the video unlocks without the use of Face ID or a passcode.

Pandora Lab is the team which says they want to work with Apple and patches the flaw.

For the newbies out there, jailbreaking means that you hack into iOS and from then on you can install any app even those who are not approved by Apple. In the early days of Apple is was very popular as it offers merely users the possibility to do what they want with their phones and play the games they want.

As iOS started to get better at security and the App Store came into the plan, the jailbreaking suffered a rapid downturn. Hacker Nicholas Allegra declared last year that jailbreaking is no longer alive. At the moment it is just a game for white hat hackers who probe for vulnerabilities.

IOS 12 has got its own new set of security features as well. For example, if you have not unlocked your iPhone for over an hour, it will not let any USB-connected accessories make do something to your phone and lock them out. This was designed in order for brute force attacks to be discouraged, where the account is compromised after a hacker keeps entering potential passwords.

Bitdefender versus McAfee and Norton Comparative, Which One Is the Best

It seems to be a difficult task to judge antivirus software at the surface level. These software programs might seem very similar to each other when it comes to the basic functionality. Nearly, all the popular antivirus software programs are capable of detecting the malicious threats without slowing down your system’s performance. At the same time, these antivirus programs tend to protect user identity and data from theft.

Bitdefender, Norton, Kaspersky, and McAfee are among the top antivirus software recommended by the experts. Today, we are going the compare Bitdefender with McAfee and see which one is the best.

Bitdefender: A Brief

Florin Taples, the current CEO, founded the company Bitdefender in the year 2001 and has seen great success since the inception of this company. Bitdefender claims to be one of the best security solution providers across the globe, with a customer base of 500 million. This antivirus and cyber security company is based in Romania and promises to deliver internet security, endpoint security, and cyber security products to its users.

You might be amazed to learn that the company handles almost 11 billion security-threats every day. It can detect the newest threats within 3 seconds and protects your system from ransomware attacks as well.

McAfee: A Brief

Formerly known as Intel Security Group, McAfee is a global computer security software company that is headquartered in California at Santa Clara. It claims to be the world’s largest dedicated security technology company. Intel purchased the company in 2011. Later in 2016, Intel announced its deal with TPG Capital and the company was named as McAfee. Initially, the company was founded in 1987 by John McAfee, who resigned from the company in 1994. Since then, the company has been sold and purchased by many vendors.

At present, it offers a number of endpoint and cybersecurity solutions to its users protecting them from different types of threats that might sound critical and do extensive damage.

Bitdefender vs McAfee Comparison

Both Bitdefender and McAfee offer premium computer security software suites created to keep malicious programs and hackers away from your system. Using free protection is easier as no cost is involved, while picking between the premium versions is a more difficult task. A brief comparison of the two will help you decide the best premium product for your system.

Malware & Threat Detection Rate

Antivirus programs attack malicious software in two ways – blocking the new infections and removing the existing infections. Not every antivirus behaves like the other one. A few of them can be better than the other at keeping the system clean and clearing the infections that get past the systems.

According to PC World tests, Bitdefender comfortably outranked McAfee in system cleanup and malware blocking. McAfee antivirus blocked 94.4% of real-world malware attacks. Further, it was able to detect and disable every existing infection tested against the software and cleaned 70% of existing infections.

Bitdefender detected and blocked each and every malware program, identified all the tested malware and cleared up 90% of existing infections.

Performance

Bitdefender is powered with the latest technology helping in minimizing the resource consumption rate. It is capable of detecting malware quickly without having any impact on computer speed and its performance. Bitdefender uses well-trusted algorithms that are designed to detect old and new threats and erase them from the system on scan.

When we compare McAfee with Bitdefender in terms of resource utilization, we have to say that McAfee disappoints. It is better than other antivirus tools, but not better than Bitdefender. You may experience slow system speed at times when too many processes are running on your system from behind.

Ease of Use

Bitdefender and McAfee, both are easy to install. You can take the help of on screen instructions to install the software. It will hardly take 5-6 minutes. All you have to do is purchase the subscription and download the setup.

Bitdefender versus Norton comparative

It is but a task impossible when you have to choose between two products that are top of the line. Therefore, this comparative analysis will look at different parameters and choose the best program. You can protect your device from malware, spyware, Trojans, ransomware, and other threats.

Malware Detection Rate

There are companies that are solely dedicated to testing products from leading antivirus companies every month, for example AV-Comparatives (Austria) and AV-Test (Germany). Their job is to find out flaws and vulnerabilities in the program by aggressive means of testing.

Bitdefender already has the ‘product of the Year’ title in the bag by defeating Kaspersky and Norton in the AV-Test. It has also emerged as the most used antivirus program on desktops and smartphones in North America. Bitdefender also produced 100% results when its malware scanning capabilities were tested. On the other hand, Norton gave a 98.4% result. Thus, Bitdefender came out at the top in the malware scanning capacity.

Performance and Impact on System Speed

Bitdefender comes equipped with a new technology which helps to minimize resource consumption rate. It is successful in detecting malicious threats and malware in a speedy way without affecting the performance speed of the system. The program uses well-trusted algorithms that are especially designed to detect both new and old threats and systematically erase them giving the best possible results with each scan.

However, the resource utilization is comparatively a tad bit higher when one considers Norton antivirus. This results in a slowed down system speed and might make the system hang a couple of times while performing the scan itself.

This implies that Bitdefender outruns Norton in this regard as Norton utilizes more resources.

Ease of Use

Both the programs are equally easy to install on your system. By simply following the instructions on the screen you can yourself install the software. It does not take more than 5-6 minutes. The only effort on your end entails you purchasing the subscription and downloading the setup. Once this is done, you can proceed with the installation without any hassle.

Final Say

McAfee and Bitdefender are both powerful antivirus solutions that can help you protect your system from ransomware, Trojans, and other malicious software. However, choosing Bitdefender can turn out to be beneficial for you as the antivirus program is capable of detecting almost any malware and infections that can damage your system.
