Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date – A Beautiful Design

There have been a couple of games which kept fans on the edge of their seats. Kingdom Hearts 3 is among these games and fans can’t wait to see it released. Those who are lucky enough to participate at the Gamescom 2018 event in Cologne, Germany will have the chance to play the demo version of the game.

A beautiful design

The gaming news outlet Kotaku UK managed to get their hands on an early release of the demo and they reported their experience. They managed to put together a mini review and apparently the demo version stands along the beautiful design and gameplay visual of the franchise.

Square Enix’s upcoming title has been on the news lately. The fans have waited for a long time to hear about it and this year has brought them plenty of video material about Kingdom Hearts 3. These video trailers revealed themes from the Disney worlds and Final Fantasy which will make an appearance in the upcoming game.

Although these videos boast superb graphics, those from Kotaku UK feel that they don’t do justice to the actual gameplay.

An impressive effort

On the same report, Kotaku commented on how impressive it is that the developers and animators made a huge effort to make every little detail as realistic as possible. Even the wear and tear suffered by the toys in the game managed to get a high praise. Kotaku closed their review by stating that playing the demo version of Kingdom Hearts 3 feels as if you were playing a Pixar movie.

The Gamescom 2018 has brought two game levels which acted as playable demos for Kingdom Hearts 3 which allowed attendees to try their best in the Hercules and Toy Story worlds. The game will be officially released on the 29th of January.

NBA Live 19 Demo Now Available with Good News and Bad News

In the recent years EA did not have a great deal of success with the NBA Live series.  2K’s NBA2K sold millions of copies around the world, while NBA Live struggled to remain relevant and it mainly received tepid reviews every year.

The newly released demo may be a real game changer, showing off multiple innovations and for the time for such a demo, it allows user to try out several game modes in order to find out if something is for them. The demo is available for the Xbox One and PS4.

Players can once again hit the streets to play ball or try their look in a professional league by choosing The One mode.  You can play in solo mode, competitive multiplayer against real players from all around the world, and co-op online modes against the AI. Custom player characters can be upgraded up to level 20, with another 79 levels coming when the game will be fully released.

Good News

It would seem that EA tried really hard to bring NBA Live back into the public eye as a successful game. A host of improvement s can be observed, from player movement and animations to a faster, more enjoyable gameplay. The players also look better as face scanning was improved. They are not on a photorealistic yet, but the aspect is more natural.

Bad news

There is always space for more improvements and EA still has time to improve the game.  The commentary is still a disappointment when compared to its brother FIFA.  AI players received a boost but it either plays like a good, or like an old man that tries too hard. The dunkfest, one of the most criticized problems of NBA Live 2018 has transcended and it seems that it will plague this game too.

Despite its flaws the game is quite impressive even as a demo. With a release date of September 7, it remains to be seen how will ware against 2K’S offering.

Elder Scrolls Online: Wolfhunter Community Guides Available to Download

The Elder Scrolls Online Stream Team, a community of streamers supported by the company has recently announced the new expansion for the Elder Scrolls Online and Bethesda continues the friendly approach towards the community by featuring almost a dozen community guides on the official ESO website.

The first of two expansions announced at E3, Wolfhunter has become available. It is a lighter expansion, adding two new group dungeons and a variety of new content. Werewolves are the main theme of the expansion, including a revamped werewolf skill system. Greater in scale as it is a region expansion, Murkmire has no release date at the present but it will be available for testing at Bethesda’s Gameplay Days festival.

As Wolfhunter adds new content, some people are looking for guidance in order to find out how to do certain things.  New players may also be pulled in by the temptation of playing werewolves and they may need help, particularly if they are not familiar with MMOs. Bethesda has featured several community guides in a new update on their website. They are split depending on your familiarity with the game, ranging from beginner’s guide to advanced guide, and even builds that help new players in creating a viable first character.  Several Twitch channels are also featured, with Fextralife, Tianlien, Kevduit and several more.

The Elder Scrolls Online is Bethesda’s first foray into massively multiplayer games. While at launch the game was well received, it did not seem to be innovative enough in order to attract a stable player base. As subscription dwindled a solution was found. The mandatory subscription model was dropped, and the game become buy-to-play, while also offering an optional subscription that offers some minor conveniences and a monthly pack of crowns to be used  for in-game cosmetics.

This was a recipe for success as the gam now enjoys a sizeable player base and several expansions added new content.

Bethesda plans to imply more o the community in future marketing in order to keep it friendly and united.
