iOS 13 Comes with Handy Shortcuts and Fancy Improvements

Apple has been hard at work in the recent months, and one of the biggest efforts materialized in the form of the upcoming iOS 13. The next update for the beloved operating system will come with a plethora of new features; one of them will make many Apple fans happy.

Users with gain the ability to enable and disable Wi-Fi without the need to go to the Settings menu every time they wish to turn the function on or off. A small icon will be placed in the Control Center, allowing users to toggle the feature whenever they want.

According to sources which explore the beta version this is the mechanic used by the shortcut:

  1. The user will open the Control Center
  2. A long-press on the Wi-Fi icon will show the connection toggles.
  3. Long-pressing, the icon for a second time, will bring a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
  4. Tap on the desired network to connect to it. In some cases, you will have to enter a password.

The feature is available right now for the version, but it is not advised to install the beta if you plan to use your device every day.

Other improvements

iOS 13 will come with a built-in Dark Mode option which changes how to interface use and is better for the battery and eyes during the night. Native Apple apps will offer Dark Mode support, and API kits will allow developers to integrate the feature within their apps.

The refreshed Photos app will come with a new feature which highlights some of the most important photos. The editing tools are more powerful and easier to use as you can customize a picture with just a few taps.

A streamlined volume HUD will improve the experience while watching media content and apps of any size can be downloaded over an LTE connection, which is a major plus for users who enjoy unlimited data plans.

Oppo F9, F9 Pro, and Oppo F7 Owners – Android Pie and ColorOS 6 Updates are Under Tests

The company’s plan from March is to schedule the new ColorOS update for its devices. So they begin to push the update of the ColorOS 6 with Android 9 Pie in April, to the Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition. The following dates for the updates are in August and September. The first to receive the ColorOS 6 and Android 9 Pie are R17 and R17 Pro and after them Oppo R11, R11 Plus, R11s, R11s Plus, Oppo A3, and A7x.

However, the company didn’t say something about Oppo F9, F9 Pro, and Oppo F7, but as we can see now, they will receive the update sooner. Also, the company shared a list with all the phones that will receive the update and when it will happen. But even if we have this road map from the company, checking the list, we can see that none of the devices listed don’t have the ColorOs 6 received.
