Clash of Clans Spring Update – Archer Tower and the Cannon Improvements

We have an announcement from Supercell that the latest updates on Clash of Clans Spring will bring additional balance changes, new levels for troops and buildings.

So about what upgrades we are talking about?

The Archer Tower and the Cannon will be upgradeable to level 17 with 12 million gold and 12 days to upgrade them fully.  With this update you will have the Cannon with 132 DPS and 1,740 HP; the Archer Tower will have 122 DPS and 1,430 HP.

Regarding the troops (Hog Rider, Ice Golem and the Witch), all of them will be getting a new upgrade at Laboratory level 10.

Moreover, new changes will be the overall strategy of the game. That means both attacking and defending.

So, if we are talking about attacking and defending, an example is the Ice Golem and his Freeze Spell. This spell will be different when used offensively or defensively. When in the offense mode, the Freeze Spell will have an increased radius by 36 percent. That will slow down your enemy defense. On the other hand, on the defense mode, the duration of the spell will be reduced at all levels.

Consequently, after the update, the Ice Golem will be more effective if you use him in offense rather than in defense.

Also, we will have a reduced time of the Tornado Trap at each level.

Because of the update, the Battle Machine in the Builder’s Base will change. The regeneration time will be reduced, so you could match it with your Training Camps, and be ready for battle much faster. That’s encouraging for the dynamic gameplay, and you will get into action earlier.

At last but not least, this Spring update on Clash of Clans will bring a quality of life improvements.  Supercell announced that he wants to reduce the brightness of the clouds for an easy play for the eyes.

First Prototype Renders Released for Intel Graphics Card

With all the big fuss happening at the GDC 2019 event, we can’t overlook the new achievements in the graphics card world. If we’re zooming in on what Intel did for most of its stage time at this event, we’ll see that they focused on announcing some new software, as well as their 9thgeneration mobile processors. But wait, there’s more! Besides that, the tech giant also provided us with a small tease of its future graphics card’s appearance.

At the beginning of the GDC 2019 Intel keynote, Christiano Siquera, who works as an Intel designer and artist, shared with the audience the first shroud design for their future graphics card. The model they should saw the light of the day in December last year. Although at first, it looks just like any mini GPU we have seen before after you take a closer look you can see that Team Blue decided to go for a new design.

What struck us at first was the fact that the new shroud design features an aesthetic similar to that of the recent Intel Optane SSDs. What makes us say that? Just look at their angular looks and the diagonal flared lines. What’s more, you can say that the new card will be a bulkier and shorter version of the Intel Optane SSD 905P, which was quite a successful model.

The first graphics card seems to be using a single fan cooler if you look at the official images. However, besides these remarks, there isn’t much to share about the future Intel product. Note that these render. Finally, Siquera declared that he is also working on nine new designs. Most likely, this won’t even be the final form of the upcoming graphics card, but it’s still useful to have a look at it.

Tame Your Android Notifications with These 5 Tips and Tricks

With time, Android has developed a lot but there is one problem all Android users face, the never-ending notifications! Let’s say you are trying out the Betway Kenya casino, and get constant pop-ups. You wouldn’t want that while you are placing your bets on Betway for your favorite games, right?

Junk Reminders

Naturally, there are a lot of different applications that Android users install on their devices ranging from gaming apps to Facebook, Instagram, and so on. And with every app, come uninvited notifications. Even when you don’t use your phone a lot, these notifications can be a menace.

When you’re busy and suddenly your phone beeps, it is common to assume that it is an important message. Although when you take a look at it and find out that a random application ‘misses’ you, it can be frustrating. Android applications never seem to stop, they are disturbing and obviously bother all the users.

Do Not Disturb

Some notifications can be managed, but what can you do when there are hundreds of them.

Yes, you can turn on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ profile on your phone but that’s just as good as not owning an android device. If only there were better options to get rid of these overwhelming notifications.

Well, there are some things that all Android users can turn to for getting rid of these daunting notifications without affecting the important ones.

5 Ways to Avoid Excessive Notifications on Android

  1. Turn Off Notifications

You can block notifications based on the categories after the Android Oreo update. With categorized blocking, you can block certain types of notifications like WhatsApp group notifications, and location notifications from Google that keep on showing on the notification bar. This way you can be sure that when your phone rings, it’s something important.

  1. Change the Tone

Most people keep their phone’s on silent mode nowadays, however, for the select few who prefer the general mode, you can avoid the notifications by changing the notification sound. This way ignoring unnecessary distractions becomes easier and you can focus more on what you’re doing.

  1. Change the Behavior

You can switch the way you get notifications from various applications in the notification categories. These applications by default make a sound and appear on the notification panel, you can modify the settings and prevent them from making your phone ring and appearing on your screen.

  1. Snooze the Notifications

You can sometimes be busy to respond to a certain notification, to prevent it from becoming a distraction simply snooze it to remind you later. It is simple to snooze important notifications, long press on the notification you want to snooze or slide it to the side a little and select the clock icon to set a time when you want it to ring again.

  1. Manage the Digital Wellbeing

This alternative is effective only for Android 9 Pie so far, to implement it open the ‘Digital Wellbeing’ menu in your Android device. This new feature allows Android users to check their devices screen usage, the number of notifications, and the number of times you unlocked it and many such options. To manage notifications, tap on the ‘number of notifications’ and you’ll get a list of the apps and how many notifications they send daily. Simply block notifications from the applications sending an unacceptable number of notifications.

Steps on How to Avoid a Bad Credit

If you have a credit card or have ever used one, then you must be aware of how tempting it is t keep spending even when you shouldn’t. And it’s for this reason that you risk having bad credit. You should, however, try to avoid this at all cost because once you get yourself in this mess, it could take you months and probably years to get yourself back to financial stability. So why not avoid bad debts from the start? Sounds like a good idea to you? Here is what you should do;

Buy Only What You Can Pay For

By all means, shun from swiping your credit card for items you can’t afford or don’t even need. If you didn’t carry enough cash to pay for them, then it means you hadn’t even planned to buy them. So save yourself from unnecessary costs by avoiding impulse buying at all costs.

Set Up An Emergency Fund

There’s no one who can tell for sure what will happen tomorrow. So set aside some cash every month to cater for emergency situations such as car breakdowns, accidents, and medical bills. These are among the top list of reasons as to why most people get credit cards in the first place. Easy access to cash during such moments will help you avoid huge credit card expenditures.

Make Your Credit Card Payments

By all means, avoid postponing those monthly credit card payments. In fact, they should be among your number one priority after other billings. Remember, even if you postpone it, you’re the one who’s going to pay it, but only at a much higher rate. And it might prove difficult to pay on time, thus landing you into a bad credit score. In such a situation, among the valid financial help you could get would be from the various bad credit loans guaranteed approval lenders, which will help you redeem the situation. This is because, with them, you won’t suffer embarrassment and rejections. And you could slowly increase your credit score. But ensure you learn from the situation.

Avoid Lending Out Your Credit Card

No matter how much you care for a person and how much in love you feel you are, you won’t have control over how much money they will spend on your credit card when you lend it to them. Money is a sensitive topic and very tempting. So they can promise you one thing but do the complete opposite. And in such a situation, it’s you who will suffer the repayment consequences. If you must give out, be there to make sure they spend only what you agreed upon.

Have Few Credit Cards

You don’t have to get a credit card for each person in your house. In fact, one is enough and if you must, limit them to at most three. Remember, the more you have, the more you will want to spend forgetting that you’re the same person paying them off. Another trick is to carry only one credit carry in your wallet or whenever you head out.

Having a credit card is a good thing as it can help you out when in a fix. But it’s the careless use of it that can easily put you into bad debt. To avoid this, minimize your expenses, have an emergency fund in place, make timely payments and have only one in your wallet.
