GTA 6 Release Date: Is GTA 6 Getting Closer To Official Announcement? We Don’t Think So…

Millions of fans around the world are waiting for the official announcement of the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. However, any official info on GTA 6 is late from emerging. Many rumors appeared online debating when GTA 6 release date will take place and where the action would happen. But, we don’t think Grand Theft Auto VI is getting closer to its official announcement.

GTA 6 rumors – What we know so far…

Even though many bloggers and YouTubers released dozens of rumors on GTA 6, only one of these guys claimed his information is based on insider information. The YouTube channel “The Know” released earlier this year, in March 2018, a video that said that the upcoming title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise would come out somewhen between 2020-2022 and would take place in Vice City.

According to “The Know,” Rockstar dubbed it as “Project Americas” and is working on the game, as we speak. They also claimed that their source talked about the possibility of the gamers to travel from Vice City to a yet undisclosed country in South America to accomplish some missions there.

Also, Grand Theft Auto VI will reportedly allow gamers to impersonate a female main character for the first time in the franchise.

GTA 6 release date – Rockstar will not announce GTA 6 anytime soon

Maybe indeed Rockstar is currently working on the new title of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, but they are also enjoying the great success that GTA 5 and GTA Online still have, so they have no reason to hurry up with the release of GTA 6.

Accordingly, although they are developing the basics of the future game right now, and assuming that some of the before-mentioned rumors are correct, Rockstar might change a lot until the final version launches.

And, by the way, there is nothing official on the GTA 6 release date, so we should take every rumor in that regard with a grain of salt. From what we know so far, Rockstar might announce the new title in 2019-2020, while the final version of Grand Theft Auto VI might hit shelves between 2020 and 2022.

Spider-Man PS4 Devs, Accused Of Downgrading The Graphics, Say That’s Not The Case At All

Video games development is a rigorous process with many things changing from the first trailers to the game’s release and even beyond that with new patches and DLC packs. However, according to a Reddit user, Spider-Man PS4 changed a lot from the E3 trailer to the final version, scheduled to launch during the next week. But, Insomniac Games responded to the accusations of downgrading the graphics saying that’s not the case here.

Well, the difference between what we can see in Spider-Man trailer released during the E3 and the final version is enormous. The first pic below shows a screenshot from the E3 trailer, and we can see some very sharp graphics with lots of details. In the second image, snapshotted from the final version, revealed a downgrade in the graphics, indeed.

Accused of lowering the number of those puddles on the ground, Insomniac Games, Spider-Man PS4 devs, stated on Twitter that it’s not about a downgrade.

If that’s no graphics downgrade in Spider-Man PS4, then what it is?

“It’s just a change in the puddle size, there’s no downgrade at all,” stated Insomniac Games on their Twitter page.

But some gamers said that the devs removed some of the puddles, along with many more other details, to enhance the game’s performance. On this one, the community manager James Stevenson stated that “the puddles being moved had nothing to do with performance.” He also gave an explanation.

“Pretty sure it was a design/art/usability reason thing. Definitely wasn’t performance, as we have spots with tons of puddles in the game with no performance issue,” explained Stevenson. “Bright sunlight causes concrete to blow out and look bright. Plus our post effects (DOF and motion blur tech in particular) are way better in 2018, which causes stuff to be blurrier when pulled like that, but that’s because it’s supposed to look good in motion,” James Stevenson added.

The new Spider-Man PS4 will go live on September 7th, 2018, while Insomniac Games already announced the release of the first DLC for the game, on October 23rd.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Launched – How PES 2019 Compares With Its Predecessor And FIFA?

Just a couple of days before, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 launched, a fact that gives it a full month edge over FIFA 19, its only competitor so far, that would roll out on September 28th, 2018. Now, that the Konami’s game is out, we can see how PES 2019 compares with its previous version and with FIFA.

Above all, if you are expecting some “mind-blowing” new visible features and “frontpage” changes you might be disappointed because PES 2019 is not that kind of game. Konami planned some more subtle, under the hood improvements. However, the Japanese video games developers implemented some updates in the Ultimate Team baiting MyClub mode, mostly some visuals improvements, plus the new Magic Moments, a way for the gamers to show off and see the players’ skills.

Besides those, Konami improved the gameplay and after just a few matches played you’ll see the difference. Is visible that, at least compared with PES 2018, FIFA 18, or what we got so far on the upcoming FIFA 19, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the most beautiful soccer simulation with accurate animations and stunning cinematics.

PES 2019 lacks the variety we see in FIFA series but overcomes its competitor with a great gameplay

PES 2019 is limited when compared to FIFA in almost every aspect, from menus to the number of licensed leagues and teams and career mode structure. But when you’re in a match, every negative aspect of the game fades away, and you’re going to be absorbed by the gameplay and the atmosphere on the pitch.

As for the licensed leagues and teams, PES 2019 lacks the variety offered by its competitor, FIFA, and this year Konami lost its most significant advantage it held over EA Sports – The UEFA Champions League license. Besides, even though the Japanese producer struggled to add a few new leagues and license more teams to the game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 looks “crippled” in this regard.

In short, Konami bets on improving the gameplay of PES 2019 instead of working thoroughly on adding more leagues and license more teams. And indeed Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 overcomes its predecessor and its competitor, as well, in that regard.

FIFA 19 To Come With New Features And Many Improvements Under The Hood

FIFA 19 will not be very different from its predecessor, FIFA 18, regarding the graphics. However, the new features and under the hood improvements would make FIFA 19 a better game than ever. And we’re talking about many changes, from new fans cinematics to new stadiums and more licensed leagues and teams.

The list of all the new features would be too big, so we’re only going to present you the most significant changes FIFA 19 would offer.

New features in FIFA 19 would make the game more realistic and enjoyable

FIFA 19 would boast more realistic graphics than ever with new cinematics for the fans which can now take selfies, jump, celebrate a goal, suffer when their favorite team loses, and so on. Besides, the fans can now wave banners, but the new feature, however, is only limited to Kick Off and Ultimate Team modes.

Additionally, new cinematics has been added in Career mode, including seeing players get off the bus when they arrive at the stadium, drawing teams for Champions League, and new transfer cinematics which shows the first presentations of the new players you bought.

Also, EA Sports decided to revamp goalies animations and a brand new training mode.

FIFA 19 would come out in September with more licensed teams and leagues

While a little less than one month apart us from the official launch of FIFA 19, more and more news regarding the upcoming EA Sports games emerge. Besides the new features presented above in this article, EA announced an updated The Journey: Champions mode and newly licensed leagued and teams, including the Serie A which is excellent news since Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Real Madrid to Juventus.

With all its new features and cool changes under the hood, FIFA 19 will roll out on September 28th and would be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.
