iPhone 11 Might Come with Wireless Charging for External Devices

Everyone already knows by now that Apple is expected to hold an event at its headquarters in Los Angeles today, known as “It’s Show Time,” where it will most likely make some big announcements. The tech giant will probably introduce some new releases, so we’re definitely looking forward to this event.

Based on some recent rumors, it seems that the company might announce a new iPhone during the event. The new phone would be able to charge other devices, like the Apple Watch, wirelessly.

Apple might announce that iPhone 11 could charge other devices wirelessly

This new rumored feature has been apparently planned by Chinese vendors who mentioned in a pre-release report that Apple will offer wireless charging, as well as bigger battery size and improved cameras.

We’ve already seen this wireless charging feature being used by Samsung and Huawei, so it looks like Apple doesn’t want to be left behind. The new phone has been unofficially given the name of iPhone 11.

Rumored iPhone 11 may come equipped with a handy feature

The next-gen iPhone will apparently be equipped with a feature that is going to be similar to the wireless PowerShare of the Samsung Galaxy S10. It has been also speculated that the upcoming iPhone 11, as it is currently named, might be sold together with a new charging cable.

Launching a phone that can charge gadgets such as the Apple Watch and the AirPods is clearly a great idea. That can prove to be very helpful for situations when other devices that you may carry with you run out of batteries, and you don’t have a charger handy. This way, you can just use your new iPhone 11 to charge the other devices wirelessly.

Nevertheless, more details about this feature should follow soon, and we hope to learn more about it during this new event.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Vs. OnePlus 6T – Computing Power, Cameras, and Prices

Until now, 2019 has come with a lot of great phones, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 surely is one of those. In addition to that, it has also gotten the title for one of the most expensive, but this one is not the only premium phone that can be bought as there are cheaper ones that work just as good. There are a lot of affordable smartphones on the market, but OnePlus has changed the game entirely as their motto is Never Settle. And they do not. Today, we’ll compare Samsung Galaxy S10 with OnePlus 6T.

For you to be easier to understand better the price versus quality report between these two smartphones and to make it easier for you to decide the one that suits you best, we will talk about both of them making a comparison.

The South Korean tech giant has exceeded what we would think they could do by making a powerhouse out of their Samsung Galaxy S10 which on paper is also one of the most impressive phones based on the raw specs it comes with.

The OnePlus 6T is not that bad either, being almost half a year older than the latest Samsung flagship, but it has an impressive specs sheet as well.

Samsung Galaxy S10 vs. OnePlus 6T – Computing Power, Cameras, and Prices

The differentiator that would work best when it comes to these phones is the processor. The Snapdragon 855 SoC from Qualcomm, 7-nm 8-core CPU, made its debut in the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, at least for the people in the US. The European Samsung flagships will be powered by Exynos 9820, an 8-nm octa-core processor.

On the other hand, Snapdragon 845 is a processor that powers lots of smartphones, and the OnePlus 6T is one of them. The mobile platform is still powerful, but a substantial upgrade comes from its successor, Snapdragon 855.

Besides, Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with three main cameras: 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 12MP f/1.5 and an f/2.4 dual pixel with OIS, and 12MP OIS telephoto f/2.4. On the other side, OnePlus 6T sports only two sensors on its back. On this point, Samsung Galaxy S10 is the absolute winner.

Finally, let’s talk a little about the prices of the before-mentioned devices. The standard Samsung Galaxy S10 costs $899, while OnePlus 6T with 8Gb RAM costs $579. However, if you desperately want a Samsung Galaxy S10 model but you’re on a budget, Galaxy S10e (Lite version) comes at $749.

Now, it’s evident that Samsung Galaxy S10 is better than the OnePlus 6T, but the question is if customers are willing to pay more for the new South Korean flagship smartphones when there are other, cheaper options similar in specs and performance.

Google Doodles Now Appear On The Pixel Home Screen Search Bar

We all love Google Doodles. On special events, Google’s logo changes to a particular design or animation. Now, Google Doodles won’t be present only on the Google home page. As it turns out, the cute doodles will also show up on the Pixel’s home screen search box.

In the past, we have also seen Google placing its Doodles in the Discover feed. This change is a nice one, but if Pixel users don’t like it, they can also choose to hide Google Doodles from their home screen. In order to do this, you need to tap and hold the Pixel launcher search bar and then tap the “Search box effects” slider and then disable it. If you change your mind, you can enable it once again.

The feature did not roll out to all phones. That probably is a trial and Google will release it to everyone if everything goes well. The new addition is a cute, fun one, and it is also optional, which makes it even better.

Google Doodles

Google Doodles have existed for 21 years now. The first one appeared back in 1998 for the Burning Man festival. The doodle was designed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are are the Google founders. After the first doodle, Dennis Hwang became in charge of doodles. In time, the team of Google illustrators and engineers grew.

Google also accepts suggestions, and you can send them a mail at poposals@google.com. By now, Google had more than 1000 doodles, including animations and interactive ones.

The first Google Doodle used for Google Pixel was the one marking the official beginning of spring, March 20th. The doodle is a cute flower, representing the Spring Equinox.
