Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go! Connection issue

Pokemon GO is still going strong and developers make sure that new updates are added regularly so that people cannot get bored. However, players were disappointed recently. The game has a brand new Meltan event that could reward a Mystery Box. Thanks to the box the Meltan should come out in the Wild, which is a great price, as the Pokemon is quite rare.

However, the event was supposed to make players connect Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go!. The bad news is that this didn’t work as it was supposed to. People complained about not being able to connect the two games, which made it impossible for them to get the Mystery Box.

Getting the Meltan

In order to get the exclusive Meltan, players need to connect the smartphone game Pokemon GO with the Switch game Pokemon: Let’s Go. Then they had to trade a Pokemon from the first game to the Go Park of the other one. By doing this a Mystery Box would become available in Pokemon GO. Once the box is opened by players, they are given a period of time in which they can hunt as many Meltan as they can find.

The solutions

If you are one of the players that couldn’t connect the games, there is no reason to worry. It appears that there is a solution for this issue and it is a simple one as well. The fix was posted on Twitter by Niantic Support.

“Trainers, we have confirmed that the latest update to the Nintendo Switch is affecting the ability to connect to Pokémon GO. Disconnecting Pokémon GO and restarting your Switch by holding the power button for 3 seconds should allow you to reconnect,” announced a tweet posted by Niantic Support.

iOS 12 – 12.1.2 RootlessJB 3.0 Jailbreak Available for Limited Devices

If you are part of the jailbreak community, we have some great news for you! Jake James, the web, iOS and tweak developer (@Jakeshacks) has finally put an end to our waiting and released a jailbreak tool with the name of RootlessJB 3.0. Limited devices support this jailbreak, and only developers can use it.

The news

James announced over the weekend via Twitter that the RootlessJB 3.0 will soon be released. The tool offers initial support for A11, A10, and A9 devices that run iOS 12.0 to iOS 12.1.2.

If you take a look at what James twitted, no code and tweaks injections are included in his new tool yet. Aside from that, via dropbear, it spawns SHH.

As it does not offer package manager installation in the form of Sileo or Cydia, you should keep in mind that this is not a standard jailbreak that the public domain can take advantage of especially because it requires you to use SSH and dropbear to install the program.

Are A12 devices left out?

James said that he is also working on the A12 support that jailbreakers had asked for and that soon enough their wishes will come true. This will be followed by support for A8 and A7 devices once there is an exploit.

How is RootlessJB3.0 doing at the moment

Since RootlessJB 3.0 was releases, James has tweeted a lot of updates. The recent one was announced not too much time ago by James who provided a video that shows people what the RootlessJB 3.0 is capable of. The footage comes from Sammy Guichelaar (@SammyGuichelaar), and it practically proves how successful James’ tool is. If you want to try it yourself, you can do so, but you should still keep in mind that it is not in its final form yet.

HP Works On A High-Resolution VR Headset For The Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality Platform

According to RoadToVR, HP is currently working on a high-resolution VR headset that the company plans to use with the Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality platform. It seems, also, that the upcoming HP VR Headset, codenamed “Copper,” would boast a higher res than the HTV Vive Pro. Besides, “Copper” seems more comfortable and user-friendly than all the other HP’s VR headsets.

At the moment, we don’t know when the new HP VR headset would roll out or at what price, but we do know that it would feature a resolution 2160 × 2160 pixels per eye. That’s higher res than those boasted by both HTC Vive Pro (14440 x 1600) and the Oculus Rift (1080 x 1200).

Besides HP, both Google and LG work on super high-resolution VR headsets, and both companies promised to come up with VR helmets with a resolution as high as 4,000 pixels per eye. At the moment, these devices are only prototypes, so it could take a while until we see them on the market.

The folks from RoadToVR have the opportunity to test the upcoming HP VR headset dubbed as “Copper.” According to them, Copper “has a distinct Rift-like look to it; a slim, top-strap design with sleek headphones attached to the headband.”

“Upon closer inspection, the rear of the headset sees the top and side straps culminate in a circular structure (designed to cup the back of your head), while the front is encompassed by a heathered material into which the front-facing cameras are embedded,” RoadToVR added.

“Copper is the direct result of feedback from HP’s enterprise and commercial customers who were already using the company’s existing headset. Overwhelmingly that feedback was ‘resolution, resolution, resolution,’ followed secondarily by ‘comfort,'” said John Ludwig, Product Manager for VR at HP, to Ben Lang from RoadToVR, the one who tested the new HP VR headset.
