Capcom working on Resident Evil 8 for next-gen consoles

Console users from both Playstation and Xbox might get a sneak peek at some new games. Everybody is wondering what titles will appear on next year’s launch for the two consoles. With some games being rumored or actually confirmed to delay or accelerate their development to coincide with the late 2020 launch of the consoles.

Resident Evil 8 and next-gen consoles

Capcom might just be developing one such game for next year. It’s the next installment in the Resident Evil series that currently has 7 games in total. Resident Evil 8 may see a joint launch with the Xbox Scarlett and the PS5.

Call to action for Resident Evil Ambassadors

The evidence for this move comes from a letter to Resident Evil ambassadors in the US and Japan. The letter basically greets the game ambassador and thanks to them for their continued support of the franchise. It then continues to call out for game testers from the Resident Evil ambassador community. What a nice job that must be…

The new Resident Evil game will have testing phases that will probably be held on a closed-circuit system for the time being. But there may be community test events sooner or later. The sessions have been confirmed to take place in New York and LA next month, in September. No word on Europe sessions so far.

What to expect with Resident Evil 8?

The game will probably have a cross-platform launch, seeing that it’s in the early stages of development. Microsoft and Sony will have backward compatibility on all their consoles, so games that are made for the next-gen toys will work on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Expect more information on the progress of Resident Evil 8 after the first couple of test events in late September. The next-gen platforms will probably come in late 2020, around the holiday season. So if the game is being developed for a joint launch, you can expect to play it around that time as well.

Teamfight Tactics New Patch Available from Riot

In recent years the success of a particular mod or game modeled to the appearance of new video games genres.  For example, the popularity of League of Legends and Dota 2 encouraged many developers and publishers to release MOBA games. Overwatch sparked the hero shooter genre while PUBG ushered the era of the battle royale.

Earlier in 2019, a new mod started to become popular among Dota 2 players. The mod, which is known as Auto Chess, pits eight players in a strategic turn-based battle inspired by chess. With the popularity of 8 million players in less than six months after release, the mod led to the appearance of the auto battler genre.

Riot saw the potential of the new genre and decided to create and release their take on the genre. Teamfight Tactics was released as a secondary mode included within the League of Legends client. It features missions and objectives along with normal and ranked queues, allowing players to compete with the aim of remaining the last one standing.

As expected, the model is a bit less complicated than the competition, but it manages to retain many of the elements which made Auto Chess a hit among fans. Players will choose a starting champion and built their team over time, creating a solid party which can take down even the most ferocious threats.

The latest Teamfight Tactics version is now available, and it adds a few changes to the games. It is not as big as other updates, but there are some modifications which could alter the efficiency of specific team compositions.

The stats of a few champions have been adjusted as Elise, and Veigar received a boost while Karthus, Kayle, Pyke, and Rengar have been nerfed. A few items were also nerfed, including the Guardian Angel,  and Morellonomicon.  A selection of bug fixes was also implemented, improving the gameplay experience.

The full changelog is available on the official website.

The brand new mode will be available for a restricted period and will not be accessible on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC today. However, Apex Legends Solo Mode will roll out the following week, more precisely, on August the 13th.

Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind the popular title, has recently hinted in an announcement that more details will be soon made public. Season 2 of the franchise has been worked on for a while now and started with the implementation of the new character, Wattson.

There have also been clues that a new Apex Legends character is being developed and will be unveiled sometime this year.

How can Mainston’s blockchain help improve networking for business?

The current model for business networking is far from perfect. All connectionless networks require network-unique addresses, and in all known networks, the uniqueness is enforced by some centralized entity. The problem is, centralized entities are highly inefficient. They are dictatorial, compromised, and usually slow.

Having one central point where all info flows in and out makes the process of initializing and verifying transactions unnecessarily tedious and expensive.

Early patrons of the internet hailed Ethernet technology as the wave of the future as far as networking is concerned but this idea has come under scrutiny because ethernet simply does not have any inherent security built into it.

Added to this is the fact that, whoever controls this central point has full control over network data and users. Even disrupter industries and businesses have centralized control structures making them susceptible to long processing times and hacking or theft.

In an age of constant cybersecurity compromises and liability, maintaining an accurate and secure record of an organizations tech assets and their configurations becomes a critical part of the risk management and mitigation strategy.

Is it possible to build an administrator-free, purely distributed mechanism for address allocation based on Blockchain? And if so, can it help to improve upon ethernet networking?

The answer is yes, as Mainston has done just that.

The Mainston Blockchain concept allows information to move around freely and safely.

This is achieved by shifting network and packet management over to a smart contract, decentralized chain-based system. Smart contracts are trackable, verifiable transactions.

The Mainston smart contract is based on…and backed by the ethereum cryptocurrency.

Mainston realizes that the real power lies in the ability to create a common network where each connection point securely peers with every other point, regardless of cloud provider or container instance.

In this way, all the people using the blockchain keep the ledger up to date—providing a perfect, unalterable record of the entire history of a device.

Sign up to mainston.com today and become apart of the revolution of networking solutions.

Additional Notes

Strangely, all blockchain development projects, (1,900 in a $200 billion blockchain ecosystem) are being run on this same insecure ethernet.

Can blockchain help manage firewall rules for IT solutions?

Answer-

Because blockchain can create a synchronized and distributed source of truth, it has the potential to be an innovative solution for managing the full lifecycle of firewall rules, automatically tracking configuration changes in an audit-friendly, transparent and trusted manner.

Using blockchains inbound transaction processing capability to capture approved changes allows an IT organization to create both an audit trail and real-time updates to CMDB.

The advantage for blockchain in networking is that it can build complete info of each devices history which is available on the network.

As a new layer on top of the internet, blockchain could help ease the overhead of managing and tracking large networks of devices without the need for a centralized controller.

Network management could be further simplified using self executing smart contracts.

Blockchain makes a distributed and cooperative cloud storage environment over a peer-to-peer network possible which would offer more resiliency and higher speeds at a lower cost.

No one owns or controls your data but you.

Such places would not by on a concierge agency’s map only ten years ago.”

But the exotic location is only half the story. Regev explains how on a sailing trip, one of the guests insisted that we book only specific DJs. The problem was that the DJs were booked for the entire year, and certainly had no time to play on a megayacht in the middle of the Mediterranean. But at Only Good Vibes, they don’t take ‘No’ for an answer. “After much creative persuasion”, Regev continues, “the three celebrity DJs were flown across the world on the date and time that out client requested.”
