Playboy Sues Global Blockchain Technologies, The Company Responsible For Developing Playboy’s Crypto Wallet

The largest global consortium of adult entertainment companies, Playboy Enterprises, filed a lawsuit against the Canadian company Global Blockchain Technologies (GBT), alleging breach of contract and fraud in the development of its cryptocurrency wallet. The platform would be integrated as a payment alternative for Playboy TV channels, websites, and games.

Playboy Enterprises sued Global Blockchain Technologies and demanded compensation

The company, which is headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, local media reported Monday, August 13th. Playboy seeks compensation for punitive damages, which translates into compensation that could amount to millions of dollars, as the company also claimed it did not receive $4 million as part of the preliminary settlement.

The cryptocurrency that would be used by Playboy as a payment method for users to view digital content is the Vice Industry Token (VIT). With this alternative, people could have paid for the service and at the same time win crypto coins to view original Playboy TV content, make comments, and vote for publications.

The deal between playboy and Global Blockchain Technologies agreed to create a payment platform to accept the Vice Industry Token (VIT)

At the time of writing, Vice Industry Token (VIT) trades at $0.005395, dropping 11.24% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap. The crypto launched earlier this year and is operated by a crypto-related firm that ended its ICO on March 20th.

Vice Industry Token Inc. is also a decentralized blockchain platform that is usually employed within the adult entertainment industry. One of its particular features is that it allows producers to monetize their content while rewarding viewers.

The Los Angeles Times quoted a statement received by Global Blockchain Technologies dismissing the lawsuit as a “normal dispute” between two commercial parties. Furthermore, the company claimed, according to the media, that the allegation of fraud is “frivolous,” adding that “Global Blockchain Technologies believes that it has a strong defense in this action and will defend it vigorously.”

Samsung’s mobile business’ president confirmed that the Galaxy S10 d not be the first company’s phone to support 5G but another model will. There is no information about this device because he did not give any hints. However, the internet comes with two e devices. The Galaxy Note 10 which will make its debut in August or September of 2019 or the Galaxy F foldable phone which’s reveal month in 2019 is still unknown.

The foldable phone will be turned into a series, it will not remain a one-time thing, according to Koh. In addition to this, he also said that the Note and Galaxy S d soon be discontinued.

“For the immediate future, there won’t be a change in launching the S series in the first half and Note series in the second half of the year,” he said.

BlackBerry Key 2 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 – Durability and Productivity Comparison

Productivity is Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s primary goal. From its S Pen which is enabled by Bluetooth to the DeX Mode recently integrated, this phone makes you work harder. Can it be compared to the new BlackBerry Key2? Let’s see!

Charging, performance, and battery life

Both the Samsung and the BlackBerry will get you through an entire day no matter how demanding you are. Despite the Key2 having a 500mAh smaller battery than Note’s 4,000mAh one, it still got some excellent stamina because it is also smaller and has a less powerful processor. They charge pretty fast as well giving you 3-4 hours of battery even though it charged only for 15 minutes. The advantage Note 9 has over its rival is its wireless charging.

This round’s winner is Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Durability and design

Everything is more evident when it comes to durability. Note 9 is made all out of glass which does not get along with the floor. However, Key2 got an aluminum body, so it is less likely to break if dropped. The Note 9 has also gained a certificate from IP68 which makes is undestroyable to a drop in the water. On the other side, Key2 is not good at swimming so water might end its life for good.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is again the winner.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 wins

Taking into account the arguments above, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 can be considered the winner. BlackBerry Key2 is not a bad phone because it also has good productivity features but its specs are just not enough to beat Note 9’s DeX mode. If you are in search of a productivity workhorse, you will not go wrong with either of this phones. You can even save some money with the BlackBerry.
