Will Halo 6 be an Improvement on Halo 5?

With both Sony and Nintendo maintaining their strong positions in the world of console gaming, the pressure is now on Microsoft to deliver some new exciting titles in order to regain its place alongside the two mentioned companies. It was expected to happen during Microsoft’s Showcase on June 10th, when Halo 6 was rumored to be announced.

What to expect from Halo 6

The new game of the Halo series is expected to be a continuation of Halo 5. It is very likely that we will be able to start exactly where the former game left us. As the final part of the trilogy which started with Halo 4, Halo 6 will keep Cortana as a main villain and the leader of an AI rebellion, whose goal is to reclaim the galaxy by eliminating the biological life.

Criticized for its lacks in the storyline, the Halo series will have a chance to make up for the past shortcomings with the release of Halo 6.

There is a lot to improve

Considering the fact that both Halo 4 and Halo 5 were not really highly rated by fans, the Halo series has to improve a lot in order to go back to its past glory. After all, it used to be one of the most popular online multiplayer games. Nowadays, with the growing fame of the battle royale type of games, Halo 6 has to be a really good title if it wants to reclaim the top spot in the shooter world. As impossible as it sounds, there is a chance that Halo 6 will be a success, knowing that Microsoft really needs it.

When to expect Halo 6

It is rather unlikely for Halo 6 to be launched in 2018, considering the great amount of work that has to be done. However, the next year is a safe bet. Halo 6 is expected to be released on Game Pass and PC just like other Xbox exclusives. So it looks like Halo will return to PC for the first time since Halo 2.

Why Apple Doesn’t Want You to Jailbreak your Phone

Apple has just published a support document that shows some of the side effects of jailbreaking. Over time, the company has always tried to leave no room for those who might want to take advantage of iOS’s vulnerabilities. Since jailbreaking is almost as old as Apple’s operating system, the only way the tech giant is fighting against this phenomenon is by not signing older firmware anymore, once a new release of iOS is in place.

Side effects of jailbreaking, according to Apple

On June 16th Apple has posted a document which says that jailbreaking can cause serious security issues in the operating system. It seems that such modifications can actually destroy the security layers, thus making users’ phones extremely vulnerable to viruses and hackers. Not only that, but using a jailbreak tool can bring even more disadvantages. Battery problems and all kinds of unexpected crashes are also some of the possible side effects.

Certain apps could stop working

The company is also stating that if you want to jailbreak your phone, then you might get some unexpected problems with some of the services from your device, such as FaceTime, iCloud, Apple Pay and many others. When it comes to third-party apps, you could even experience some unusual behavior regarding their notifications. Apple is also suggesting that if you start having serious issues with the operating system, then the damage cannot be undone. This applies to both your iPad and your iPhone, as they could become not usable anymore, once a new iOS update would be launched.

It is understandable that Apple is trying to advice users against using unauthorized tools that can modify the structure of iOS, but we all know that fans of jailbreaking will most likely continue to do as they please. If you don’t know much about the jailbreak tools though, we would recommend you to keep your devices as they are, since you really might not be able to repair some of the damages.

Blockchain Technology In South Korea Receives A $210 Million Boost From The South Korean Government

The South Korean government announced on Thursday its “Blockchain Technology Development Strategy” to ensure a level of global competitiveness in this technology and to boost a market with enormous growth potential, as reads the official documentation. The strategy calls for an investment of about $210 million over the next four years.

According to the ministerial document, the market for blockchain technology is expected to grow, and South Korea wants to be part of it and become a “Blockchain Nation.”

The South Korean government will promote blockchain technology in the management of livestock products, personnel authorization, real estate transactions, online voting, international distribution of electronic documents, and shipping logistics.

The South Korean government wants to exploit the blockchain technology benefits to the maximum

In the project for the management of livestock products, developed in collaboration with a nutritional products division, the South Korean government aims to ensure access to a historical product dossier, so that “meat can be consumed with confidence.” To this end, they plan to share in a blockchain technology the information from the entire cycle, from breeding to the beneficiary process, so that the supervision and approval time is reduced from a maximum of 6 days to 10 minutes.

In the case of shipment management, all shipment orders, shipping manifests, and customs formalities will be stored in a blockchain, allowing for reduced customs clearance and logistics costs.

As for the procedures for processing a real estate mortgage, the South Korean government hopes to facilitate them by eliminating the process of moving to different public offices when a financing application is submitted. Also, it introduces an element of greater confidence for buyers, as the property records, once validated and stored in the blockchain technology, are unalterable.

Blockchain-As-A-Service (BaaS) is also wanted

In addition to establishing a roadmap for blockchain technology standardization, the South Korean government strategy also considers the development of Blockchain-As-A-Service (BaaS) service providers, so that small and medium-sized enterprises can quickly implement these subscription-based services.

In mid-April, South Korean entrepreneurs and academics called for less regulation and more support for blockchain technology, a request that is mostly met through the definition of this strategy by the South Korean government.

TRON (TRX) deposits and withdrawals will be available generally as of June 26th.

In a publication entitled “June 25th, TRON’s independence day,” the TRON Foundation announced that by that date the TRON mainnet would be fully operational, and to celebrate the event, the “burning” of 1 billion TRX, the equivalent of about $48 million will take place.
