Apple AirPods 3 Could Be Released Sooner Than Expected

Toward the end of 2016, the first version of Apple’s AirPods was released. Now, we’re already having AirPods 2. However, some rumors suggested that AirPods 3 could launch sooner than expected.

AirPods Became One of The Most Wanted Apple Products

AirPods proved to be a significant success because, although they were mocked at first, their popularity snowballed, almost reaching a status of trendy accessories. Even with their relatively high price, AirPods became a must-have item for most Apple users.

Last month, on March 20, 2019, the second version of AirPods came out, featuring improved battery life. Even though two years have passed until the company developed the second version of the earbuds, it seems that AirPods 3 could be launched earlier than we all expected.

It has been speculated they would come in 2020, but rumor has it that Apple is already engineering the next generation of earbuds, planning to launch them as soon as the end of this year. Keep in mind that no official announcement has been made yet so that this alleged news could be untrue.

Reportedly, as competing companies are developing their own versions of Bluetooth-powered wireless earbuds, Apple has sped up the design process to keep up with the market.

Rumour Regarding AirPods 3

Gossips also say that, despite the danger of lowering battery life, the new AirPods will feature noise cancellation. If Apple manages to pull this off with such a compact product, it’s guaranteed that it would be a significant event, leaving the competition in the dust. Other voices suspect supplementary health and fitness components will be included in the new features of AirPods 3.

Since Apple hasn’t made any public affirmations regarding these rumors yet, we shouldn’t put our blinded trust in them. In the scenario these speculations are accurate, we are surely going to find out soon enough, since, allegedly, AirPods 3 is going to be released this year.

iPhone 2020 Models Would Come With 5G, Equipping Qualcomm Modems

According to research outlines from TF International Securities Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could launch 5G iPhone 2020 models. The 5G modems could be supplied by Qualcomm and Samsung, Kuo says, and the main reason why Apple settled an ugly legal battle with Qualcomm last week is the to have access to 5G modem parts.

iPhone 2020 models would be 5G with Qualcomm modems

An iPhone equipped with 5G will have a faster and more dependable cellular internet connection and could give users the reason to progress from older versions as iPhone sales increase is hindering.

The new 5G iPhone 2020 models would be launched in September 2020, as Apple is usually releasing its new iPhone models in September. However, the iPhones released this September will most probably back current-generation LTE networks.

Kuo declared that Apple might adopt the 5G baseband chips made by Qualcomm (focus on mmWave markets) and Samsung (focus on Sub-6GHz markets) to lower the supply risks, to reduce costs and to have a better trading power.

iPhone sales are not as high as expected, so 5G iPhone 2020 models would boost them

Apple has sold more than 217 million iPhones in 2018, but its best year when we talk about iPhone shipments was 2015, with over 231 million. The company announced in December that it won’t share unit shipments anymore because they are not as relevant to the investor as they were before.

Kuo, who is very popular on the market for describing Apple devices way before they are launched, aims his research at investors in the companies that provide parts to Apple and other user electronics companies. He claimed that 5G could require new designs for many iPhone elements, first being the modem or “baseband chip”, and also its antenna, RF-front end, and main board.

Ming-Chi Kuo also forecasts in a different research note on Monday that Apple is redesigning the printed circuit boards within all its 2019 iPhone devices utilizing a new sort of material to make space for a bigger battery.

Apple Will Launch 5G iPhone Models With Qualcomm Chipset In 2020

A new report came this month about Apple 5G iPhone models that will be launching in 2020. It is revealed that Apple could miss the rumored 2020 deadline launching on its 5G iPhones. It is said that Apple could have some issues with their 5G modems because of its ongoing litigation with Qualcomm. In this case, Qualcomm is the company that will supply Apple with the chipsets for the upcoming 5G smartphones.

We also have good news regarding those reports. Apple can still produce their 5G devices for the 2020 timeline. A new report from Nikkei Asian Review is stating that Apple and Qualcomm had stopped this disagreement and settle to a new partnership. So that means that Apple will launch their 5G iPhones with Qualcomm chipsets and most probably they will arrive in 2020 as they previously reported.

5G iPhone models would come out in 2020 with Qualcomm chipset

However, in this previous report, it was said that Apple could obtain chipsets from Intel or Samsung. Even Huawei was the one to offer their help and sell their tech to Apple. Huawei has been making its own chipsets for a time, they are making it for their own devices, but now they are making this offer. The idea had come from the fact that Apple and Qualcomm are in disagreements, and on Intel, they can’t relay, so maybe that was the motive behind Huawei’s offer.

Moreover, the interesting fact is that Apple did not take Huawei offer, and they are going to produce the 5G iPhones on their own terms, in the partnership with Qualcomm. This fact could have good results, thinking that Apple is waiting one year to launch its 5G iPhone, like they always did when they prepared for some great delivery. See the case of the LTE network where the company had waited for a while until they adopted the tech and resolved the problems.

UK Government Leak Reveals an Improved Feature on iPhone 11 – NFC Support

The new feature iPhone is going to have will be available at the end of the year, Home Secretary Sajid Javid said, speaking about the mobile application developed for the Home Office of the UK Government. The application will help register foreign nationals in the United Kingdom as the departure of the UK from the European Union issue is on the table and more in dispute as ever.

Developers had no sight of the iPhone hardware parts as Apple has been prohibitive without exception but now, this one area looks like it is ready to be released.

The ID Document Check app checks a resident’s identity from far away by authenticating the chip in their passport or identity card, scanning their information and adding it to the application. To check if the document belongs to the candidate, face recognition is used to verify their identity, Sajid Javid said.

UK Government Leak Reveals an Improved Feature on iPhone – NFC Support

Apple will make available the identity document check the app on their devices by the end of this year. The third-party developers weren’t able to use the iPhone’s NFC chip to carry out the same job because of Apple’s fully implemented restrictions – even if the feature was already available on Android.

Apple must have changed its policy about NFC access if Javid made such a declaration. We don’t think that this feature will only be available for the United Kingdom Government, so developers can get ready to put the NFC functionality to use to the iOS-powered iPhone from Android apps.

What this means is that every iPhone devices can be used in numerous real-world contexts as for example opening hotel rooms, getting tickets for mass transit structures, and by utilizing NFC for identification, a faster Bluetooth pairing, and even more.

iTunes To Be Separated Into Three Different Apps in the Next macOS Versions

Apple made it big last year with the News app for macOS and the three previously mentioned apps to be released this year.

The Books app which is already out for macOS will be redesigned utilizing Marzipan Project to match it with the iOS app. The new face of the model will show a sidebar very much alike the News app that will keep a list of the owned books, audiobooks, PDFs, and other collections. The title bar will have labels for Library, Book Store, and Audiobook Store.

Although all this sounds great, people who still use older iOS devices, along with iPods, will have to keep using iTunes to sync music because the iPod Shuffle and Nano were still sold on the market until the year 2017.

Apple will reveal more about its upcoming version of macOS in June, at the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference.
