Quick Fix: Clash of Clans Crashing After Update

This tutorial will show you how to fix Clash of Clans crashing after update.

Despite the exciting gameplay and graphical display offered by Clash of Clans (CoC), it has fallen short in the area of bug fixes, with gamers experiencing various degrees of crashes after updating the game.

This leaves one to wonder if the new updates come with more bugs, instead of bug fixes and patches. And unfortunately, this is seriously killing the fun of the game.

To fix this, you can try some of solutions herein.

Fix: Clash of Clans Crashing After Update

While the issue of game crashing is not alien to CoC gamers, the after-update crashing seems somewhat mysterious. The probable cause(s) has been attributed to incomplete/faulty installation, system glitch and/or connection error.

In any case, you can try the fixes below:

Fix 1: Restart Phone

While the actual cause of the “after-update” crashing is unknown, a number of troubleshooting techniques can be adopted to fix the error. And as a first line of defence, simply close the game and restart your phone.

This should fix the error, provided the issue is caused by a minor glitch (or the likes).

If the error persists, try the next fix.

Fix 2: Clear Cache

Most times, when CoC crashes after an update, there is usually a cache problem. To fix the crashing error in this case, all you have to do is to clear the game’s cache/data.

To do this (on Android):

  • close the game and navigate to Settings > Apps (or Application Manager)
  • find and click on Clash of Clans
  • click on Storage, and select Clear cache
  • click on Clear data
  • exit ‘Settings’
  • restart phone and then relaunch CoC.

If the crashing error persists, you can try the next fix.

Fix 3: Reinstall CoC

It’s possible that a faulty/incomplete installation of the new update is the cause of the crashing error. Hence, you can try reinstalling the game.

To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Clash of Clans > Uninstall.
  • Then, download the game and reinstall it on your phone (under stable internet/Wi-Fi connection).

Closing Note

Before running any of the above fixes, ensure that you’re properly signed into your Facebook or Google account. Also, make sure your phone’s time settings are properly configured.

Clash of Clans – Farming Strategies for Town Hall 12 with No Hero and Troops

The latest update for Clash of Clans introduced Town Hall 12 and this changed the entire game! Town Hall 12 adds more depth to the game and it gives players different strategies that they can use in order to dominate their enemies. However, the most important thing that Clash of Clans players can do now that Town Hall 12 is here is to devise a clever farming strategy for Town Hall 12 without needing to rely on clan castle troops or heroes.

Farming Strategies for Town Hall 12

We asked veteran Clash of Clans players about the farming strategies that they use when it comes to Town Hall 12 so that new players can get an idea of what type of tricks they can use. With that being said, let’s get into it.

Be Active!

“PaluEF” is a Forum Elder on the official Clash of Clans community forum and his advice for new players who are trying to farm for Town Hall 12 is to be active. The Forum Elder is saying that the cheapest way to farm without heroes and with Titan is: LaLooNion: 2 lavas, 30 loons, 2-3 BBdrags, rest minions (exchange minis for a few wbs if heroes), 2 rage, 1 clone, 1 freeze, 2 haste, and 1 poison.

Looting with Cheap Armies

Another forum users that goes by “Klavious” is saying that looting with cheap armies in lower leagues is not as profitable as it might sound. Therefore, “Klavious” advises new players to get Titans and hope for better loot.

Basic Troops

The user “2222” is a Game Specialist on the forum and he is saying that new players shouldn’t try to look for complicated farming strategies and stick with basic troops instead. Therefore, farming with Barch, goblins and so on will do the job just fine.

Clash Royale Update – Top Three Troops That Everyone Must Have in Their Deck

There are many things that separate good players from great players, but the most important one is the decks they build. Having a strong deck is necessary to complete any mode in Clash Royale and players need to create decks that have cards which synergize with each other. The first thing Clash Royale players are required to know is that the game features three basic type of cards: spells, buildings and troops. Learning how to combine these cards will help players destroy any foe!

Today we are going to give Clash Royale a little help when it comes to creating strong decks. We will present the top troop cards that players need to get and to include them in their decks. In addition, this card guide is directed towards new players who want to get the upper hand on veterans.

Skeleton Army

What better way to start than with the Skeleton Army? This is a troop type of card and it’s essential to any Clash Royale deck. Skeleton Army is a low-cost mob that excels at wearing down enemies. On the downside though, this troop is weak against Princess Towers, King’s Tower and Arrows.

Ice Wizard

If you ask any Clash Royale veteran player what is the best card in the game they will tell you that it’s the Ice Wizard. The reason why the Ice Wizard is held in such a high regard is because it costs only three Elixir and it does lots of damage. Not just that, but the Ice Wizard is ideal for counter-pushes and stalling incoming attacks.

Hog Rider

The Hog Rider is the most popular card in the game and everyone has it in their deck. What’s great about the Hog Rider is that it’s available right from the very first Arena and newbies can get it without any effort. The Hog Rider costs four Elixir and it destroys enemy towers. However, the Hog Rider doesn’t attack enemy troops! Only buildings.
