CD Projekt RED Hires “Release Manager”

With that said, it should come as no surprise that industry experts are paying attention to every move that CDPR makes and the latest action from the Polish game developer is listing a recruitment spot for a new “Release Manager”. As we can clearly tell from this job title, CDPR is getting ready to launch Cyberpunk 2077 and it wants to make sure that everything goes right.

Expected Release Date

Even though job listing for Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t mention any official information about the game’s launch date, we do know that CDPR is planning to release the game in late 2019 or early 2020. One thing that sets CDPR apart from other game developers is the fact that CDPR is not afraid to take its time with the company motto being “a rushed game is never a good game”.

E3 2019

We should mention that CDPR has announced that it will host a panel during this year’s E3 gaming event. Therefore, we believe that CDPR is going to reveal additional gameplay footage from Cyberpunk 2077 and maybe even announce the official launch date of the game. In addition, CDPR is also required to work out deals with Sony and Microsoft in order to launch the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this is where the newly hired Launch Manager comes in.
