Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Now Gets Safe Mode

Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak just got the newly added Safe Mode, a move which places Electra solutions in line with past iOS jailbreak tools which all possessed such a mode thanks to the Cydia Substrate. But, in order to get this update, you must follow some steps. Here’s what you should do to get the new Safe Mode in Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak.

For those users with devices which already run Electra iOS 11.3.1, it is advisable to update the packages using with Cydia, as soon as possible. By doing so, several updates will install within Tweak Injector and Substitute, which generally are downloaded and installed almost instantaneously.

After this procedure ends, the device will run an updated Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak which will benefit from the latest additions but also of the newly added Safe Mode which would protect the iOS-powered devices if anything goes wrong with one of the packages installed.

New Safe Mode added in Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak

Similarly to the first iOS jailbreak solutions, the new Safe Mode added to Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak would engage itself when something goes wrong and will notify the users about that via its UI with the following text:

Springboard ran into a problem and is now in Safe Mode. Sileo/Tweak Loader did not cause this problem but rather protected you from it. If this does not usually happen, you can safely press the button below to go back to normal mode. If that doesn’t work, please uninstall one of your tweaks through Sileo.

The text is followed by a white button that reads “Respring.” If the Safe Mode is not engaging too often, you’re safe to press that button and carry on your regular activity on your device. However, if the problem is persistent, you should re-install one of your tweaks via Sileo.

Unfortunately, this new Safe Mode added in Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak doesn’t say which tweak caused the issues.

Together with this news, also came the fact that CoolStar’s iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool will soon make its appearance, as well. And we think it’s going to be sooner than later.

What’s Apple’s opinion on this?

Notwithstanding what people have to say, jailbreaking a gadget is perilous on the off chance that one doesn’t really understand what they’re doing. This is the reason jailbreakers, more often than not, keep two smartphones with them –  one as their main smartphone and the other to be used for the jailbreak.

Apple, being the good guy as it almost always was, has given us an article that cautions individuals about jailbreaking.

As indicated by the article

Jailbreaking will dispose of security layers that were intended to ensure your own data and the gadget, abandoning it defenseless against programmers and hackers. It can also prompt precariousness where the gadget will encounter constant and surprising crashes. Besides that, it will likewise cause built-in and outsider applications to freeze. You may also lose all your data.  Let’s not mention the fact that it can shorten the life of the battery.

Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Public Release Date Soon

CoolStar announced that he is currently adding the finishing touches to the upcoming Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak. However, the tool is far from having its official public release because CoolStar and the Electra team still need to take care of some bugs and issues. In fact, a Reddit user by the name of “Samg_is_a_Ninja” explained to the entire jailbreaking community why the tool still needs a little bit more time before it sees a public release. With that said, let’s check out what are the main reasons why CoolStar and his team are still working on the tool.

Ian Beer’s Exploits

For those who don’t know this, Ian Beer is a security researcher for Google’s Project Zero and he is renowned for finding exploits in Apple’s iOS and then releasing them to the jailbreaking community. The security researcher found two exploits in iOS 11.3.1 with the first one being “multi_path” and the second one being “empty_list”.

The Problem with the Exploits

The previously mentioned Reddit user said that the “multi_path” exploit is the best exploit that CoolStar can use, but it requires an official Apple Developer account which costs $99 per year. This is a big downside because not everyone is willing to spend nearly $100 bucks on a Developer Account.

The second “empty_list” exploit is not as successful as the first one having a success rate of 1/3, but it doesn’t require an official Apple Developer account. Therefore, CoolStar and the Electra team need to find a way to increase the success rate of the “empty_list” exploit before releasing the highly anticipated Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak for everyone to use.

Upcoming Update

We should also mention that CoolStar recently announced that he is working on a major update for Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak which his going to help patch most of the tool’s bugs and issues. Let’s hope that update arrives sooner than expected.

Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak New Update is Coming Soon – CoolStar Speaks Out

It’s been a couple of weeks since the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak has received any updates. However, the Electra team announced that a new update will be coming out soon and that it will contain a bunch of software tweaks that take care of a known APFS rootfs remount issue. With that being said, let’s check out everything there is to know about the upcoming Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak update.

Upcoming Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Update

The developers who work on the Electra jailbreak tool have said that their main goal is to create a fully functioning tool and to release it to the public. In addition, this information comes directly from Redmon Pie. Initially, the developers were planning to wait on other people to take care of the issues that the tool has, but they decided that this would take way too long and that they would rather take matters into their own hands.

Public Release

Even though the development process for the highly anticipated Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool is going at a slow pace, the developers said that they are going to release it publicly as soon as a stable version is available.

“We (@electra_team) are working on fixing up Spark’s bypass ourselves now. Please lay off Morpheus as we are working on it ourselves now” said CoolStar over Twitter. Morpheus is the developer known as Jonathan Levin and CoolStar is urging people not to spam him with messages.

Official Release Date

While the fact that CoolStar confirmed the entire Electra team is working on patching up the issues with the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool is great news, the developer has yet to announce an official release date. With the way things are going right now, we think it’s safe to assume that CoolStar might need a couple more weeks before the jailbreak tool can be released.

The hacker managed to successful jailbreak iOS 11.3.1, but he still needs to patch some bugs before releasing it for everyone to download. On the bright side of things, CoolStar keeps jailbreak fans updated with the latest news and it looks like the jailbreak tool will arrive sooner than expected.

Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak

The latest news from CoolStar are showing that the hacker is planning to launch the highly anticipated Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak straight to public release. This means that there won’t be a beta or developer version of the tool and that jailbreak fans will be able to install a fully functional Cydia right from the start.

Three Copies of the Tool

Currently, there are three copies of Electra iOS 11.3.1. However, CoolStar said that he doesn’t feel like launching the beta and developer versions is worth it and he will only launch the final version. In addition, CoolStar is advising iPhone owners to switch to iOS 11.1.2 until then.

Cydia is Running Successfully

We should also mention that a team member of Electra known as “nullpixel” recently shared a couple of screenshots that showed Cydia running on iOS 11.3.1. The screenshots were accompanied by the following message: “This feels really good! @coolstarorg good work on the bug, @Pwn20wnd great cli to exploit”.

Nullpixel said that the reason why the public version of Electra iOS 11.3.1 is not released already is because the hackers are waiting on a rootFS remount that will be delivered by Jonathan Levin. We don’t know when Jonathan Levin will finish the rootFS remount, but we will keep readers updates as soon as that happens!
