iPad Pro 3 Release Date, Specs, And Prices

Apple already had a busy year in 2018 and, according to what’s coming next, this year would become even more restless for the Cupertino-based company. Apple plans on releasing a series of new iPhone mobile, MacBooks, and iPads. In the latter category, there would be an iPad Pro 3, also dubbed as iPad Pro 2018.

As some rumors voiced out, Apple would release two different iPads this year, one with a 10.5-inch display and another with a 12.9-inch screen, both with reduced edges and, most probably, with a high screen-to-body ratio.

iPad Pro 3 (iPad Pro 2018) – Release Date

According to the last year’s iPad releases, which rolled out during June, many Apple fans expected the company to launch its 2018 iPads during the same month. However, that didn’t happen, obviously, and everything hints to a release during the upcoming autumn.

The latest reports suggest that the new iPad Pro 3 tablets would hit the stores’ shelves in September or October.

iPad Pro 3 (iPad Pro 2018) – Specs

As far as we know, the iPad Pro 2018 versions would boast FaceID, iPhone X-like notch, no Home button, and a high screen-to-body ratio. Additionally, some reports say that this year’s iPad Pro series’ models will feature 4 Gb RAM, precisely as the 2017 models.

As regarding the CPU the iPad Pro 3 would boast, some rumors say that the upcoming iPad Pro 2018 versions could come out with a new Apple processor, a more powerful one than that used for the 2017 iPad models.

However, some fans would love the iPad Pro 3 models to boast water resistance, better productivity, OLED technology, enhanced battery life, a new design, and, of course, more affordable prices.

iPad Pro 3 (iPad Pro 2018) – Prices

The upcoming iPad Pro 2018 models would come out at costs in the usual range of Apple tablets. Namely, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 3 would cost from $649 up, while the 12.9-inch model would have a starting price of $799.

MacBook 2018 and iPad Pro 3 Might be Heading Towards their Big Launch

This year, Apple seems determined to update and refresh their old lines for Mac and iPad. During this week, the tech giant even made the first steps in this direction and registered five new device models at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Since we don’t have a lot of information on this matter, we will share the data we acknowledged so far.

MacRumours stated that the registrations from the EEC were made public by the French website Consomac. The information got out in the open just a few weeks before the announcements about the new products. In addition, there was some leaked data about the company’s operating system versions and rumours about a possible launch in countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Russia and Belarus.

Other rumors connected with the launch preparation process

It looks like Apple is preparing to release five Mac personal computers. All of them will run the so-called High Sierra macOS 10.13 versions. Their model numbers are A1931, A1932, A1988, A1989 and A1990.

Since the last three of them are from the MacBook 2018 generation and part of the MacBook Pro SKUs family, users will be expecting updated software versions for the 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro. Furthermore, the first two could be replacing the aging MacBook Air.

Apart from the new MacBook models, Apple could be working on five new iPads, among which the iPad Pro 3. In case you want to learn more about them, you should know about the report which claims that one of these tablets will feature an approximately 11 inches display. In this case, the tablet could have slimmer bezels, just like the most recent leaks suggest.

Both MacBook 2018 and iPad Pro 3 have something in common – they will run iOS 11 instead of 12 because Apple is planning to introduce them in September. Other speculations suggest that both equipment pieces will feature a faster processor, thin bezels, TrueDepth camera, the developer’s own customizable graphics processing unit and, for security reasons, the Face ID technology without the Home button.

The iPad Pro 3 Release Date Could be Getting Closer and Closer

In case you were wondering when we will get to see the iPad Pro 3 for the first time, we have good news. It looks like the device could be coming soon, as the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) recently certified. Other than that, we don’t have further confirmed information.

The Nashville Chatter is the first source which spotted the approval for the new release. Considering the fact that approvals are expected to be seen close before a product is set for sale, the iPad Pro 3 might be landing during the next months.

The source added that, although people are speculating around five listings, no reference has been to the tablet by its name. Until now, five different models have been certified. They have numbers like A2013, A2014, A1876, A1979 and A1934.

Although there might be five listings, there’s only one tablet

No matter how many listings we might see for this device, all of them lead to the same Apple tablet running iOS 11. The choice for the Operating System is kind of strange if we consider that iOS 12 is expected to be out before new versions of iPads. However, this is not such a big problem, since Apple tablets can run older software with the same efficiency.

With all this considered, if we were to estimate a release date for the iPad Pro 3 we could say that it would probably come out in September. The other important device launched in the first autumn month is the iPhone XI, but the timing couldn’t be more perfect. It would even make sense, too.

Since we don’t have enough information on the iPad Pro 3, all we can do is speculate and wait until it is released. We can try to learn more by looking for further information online.
