iPad Pro 2018 New Features to Beat iPhone X

An incredibly popular iOS feature could possibly be featured in Apple’s iPad Pro 2018.

The iOS 12 beta

It is already an eye-catching improvement for iPad and out with a full version, iOS 12 beta is expected to be released to the public by the end of 2018.

iPad users that already have iOS 12 beta on their devices can make almost no difference between it and an iPhone X as they can navigate using similar gestures.

It is easy to use, a multitasking window can be opened by swiping up from the bottom and swiping down on the top right of the screen will enable the Control Centre.

Apple fanatics already were given a hint by these features that a redesign for the iPad pro 2018 is planned. It is expected to have a Face ID camera, no home button and bezels to be reduced.

Confirmations

Steve Troughton-Smith (iOS app developer) enforced the fact that a new camera system might be added because of his leaked picture on Twitter showing „AvatarKit” on the iPad as a bunch of Animojis popped on the wider display of a tablet.

For the uninformed, Animoji is the well-known software that enables the user to transfer his facial expressions onto a character that imitates them.

Without a new iPad with Face ID technology and the user being able to easily unlock the tablet, the developer allowed for assurance of a new prototype being in the plan.

New tweets from Troughton-Smith confirmed: „New in iOS 12: AvatarKit comes to iPad. Still requires a TrueDepth camera to do face tracking, though, i.e. an iPad with Face ID.”

Another iOS developer followed, Guilherme Rambo, shared a video of the tablet showing the Face ID capture interface.

Changes were needed so the Face ID menu was redesigned and fitted to suit the iPad’s larger screen and further rumours that the tablet will have a new front-facing camera system were risen.

“The Face ID setup UI is finally working on iPad.” Mr Rambo said.

Further information

Unlocking a device using their face will be allowed for multiple users giving a clue that iPad might receive an iteration of the unlocking software.

Big families will love this opportunity, as iPad allows an unlimited number of owners.

September is Apple’s month as iOS 12 will debut fully and a new iPhone model apace with a new series of iPads is expected.

iPhone 11 Release Date Leaks – New Similarities of iPhone X

The iPhone 11 is rapidly approaching. Ever since it was announced, people started to ask if it will bring revolutionary features or it will follow the X’s path. Now we have some news about it, so let’s see what the future can bring.

A completely new smartphone or an improved version of iPhone X?

Almost nine months ago, iPhone X brouhgt us top – notch specifications, from Face ID recognition to fun animojis to play with. Now, the world is waiting to find out more about Apple’s newest smartphone technical specifications.

So far, we are not sure if the iPhone which is waiting to be released in 2018 will be called iPhone 11. There’s a big chance to receive this name if it will be an updated version of the X launched last year.

Ming Chu Kuo, a trusted  Apple analyst, says that iPhone 11 will probably keep most of its predecessor’s design. This means that we could be looking at a 5.8 inches phone with the frame built around an OLED screen with camera on the front.

In terms of colours, iPhone 11 could receive a range of different handset colours, like purple and green.

Other features

Some reports suggest that iPhone 11 could keep the facial recognition technology, but will drop the Touch ID.

Other rumours suggest that the camera will be improved by introducing a triple-lens rear system similar to Huawei P20 Pro.

Improvements will be noticed in regards with the battery as well.  It looks like it will have a 3,300-3,400 mAh capacity and wireless charging.

When is the expected release date

Until now, we haven’t found out the exact release date for the iPhone 11, but it looks like it’s going to be September 2018. If you are planning to buy it as soon as it’s released, you have to prepare at least $900, just like in iPhone X’s case.

Xiaomi Mi 8 vs. iPhone X – Slightly Better Specs vs Affordable Price

Xiaomi Mi 8 was recently launched and it’s taking smartphone industry by storm. There aren’t that many Android smartphones which can compare against the likes of iPhone X, but it seems like Xiaomi Mi 8 might just be able to get the job done. With that being said, today we are going to pin Xiaomi Mi 8 and iPhone X against each other and see which one comes out on top.

Top-Notch Display

The biggest similarity between Xiaomi Mi 8 and iPhone X is their top-notch display. Therefore, we are going to start with the display technology. iPhone X is renowned for its sleek looking 5.8-inch OLED Super Retina display that features a high pixel resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 and 458ppi. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi 8 ships with a larger 6.21-inch AMOLED panel which features a slightly smaller Full HD pixel resolution of 2,248 x 1,080 and 402ppi.

Hardware Power

Leaving the display technology aside, hardware power is all that really matters when it comes to high-end smartphones such as Xiaomi Mi 8 and iPhone X. Xiaomi Mi 8 is fueled by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 CPU which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB or 256GB of internal storage space.

Apple equipped its flagship smartphone with its own-made hexa-core A11 Bionic CPU which is known to be more powerful than Xiaomi Mi 8’s Snapdragon 845. On the downside of things, iPhone X’s CPU is paired with only 3GB of RAM and 64GB/256GB of internal storage space.

Final Words

From the looks of it, Apple’s high-end iPhone X is the device which has the upper hand in this brief comparison. However, we should mention that iPhone X is priced at $999 while Xiaomi Mi 8 can be purchased for only $420 which gives it a great advantage.

Apple Gives Up the Actual Design – The Change Occurs Now

A new iPhone X variant for tech- lovers

The enigma regards the name of the new “baby-tech”. It is unclear whether what we are looking is the ‘iPhone SE2’ (expected to be called the iPhone SE, again) or the ‘iPhone X SE’ (unlikely to be its final name), which means is a more expensive model – though still extremely affordable by expansion of the iPhone X line.

Apple adopts a hybrid design. The phone will be added a glass back to enable wireless charging. Unfortunately, the new model will not keep the iPhone SE’s headphone jack. But the changes are not always bad, right?

All about its dimensions

It supposes a bezel-less front display and Face ID technology, but the size is the same a little bit smaller than iPhone SE. New iPhone’s dimensions as 121.04 x 55.82 mm (4.8 x 2.2-inches) – fractionally smaller than the 123.8 x 58.6 mm (4.87 x 2.31-inches) of the iPhone SE. So the display is approximately 5-inches, given the iPhone X a 5.8-inch display, bigger than the 4.7-inch of  iPhone 8.

Probably Apple will only produce a second generation iPhone X and larger iPhone X Plus later this year. Even the most trustful sources cannot predict what model will be. If you ask me, then I would like to see an ‘iPhone SE 2’. I will also like it to be cheaper, but I guess this new model may be an internal upgrade of the current SE, so the price will be set near iPhone X and iPhone X Plus.

Anyway, I am surprised by the fact that the bigger models are getting cheaper, so this new model, which will be smaller than the older ones, have a great potential of being set at a higher price.
