Looking Into Some Of The Top Swiss Luxury Watches Of Girard-Perregaux

Knowing and learning new things is the key to everything in this world, and that applies the same in buying the perfect luxury watch for yourself. With that, here are the top luxury watches of the famous Swiss watch manufacturer, Girard-Perregaux.

Girard-Perregaux 1966 40MM

The Girard Perregaux 1966 40mm is a Swiss luxury watch that was inspired by Girard-Perregaux’s classic luxury watches in the 1960s. The Overall design of the GO 1966 40mm is simple yet very appealing to look at. It houses a gleaming looking premium stainless steel body case covered by a Sapphire glass.

The 1966 model 40mm uses its newest GP03300-0030 caliber, which makes it more reliable. This timepiece is an automatic movement or self-winding, so you don’t need to worry about replacing some batteries. With that technology, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 40mm comes with a bit of an expensive price tag.

Another thing that’s worth appreciating about the GP 1966 40mm is its exquisite design; it has 27 high-quality jewels all-around its body. This watch has 46 hours of power reserve, which is actually incredible despite being one of the cheapest watches among Girard-Perregaux’s Swiss luxury collection.

Girard-Perregaux 1996 Orion 45MM

Unlike the straightforward design queue of the Girard-Perregaux 1996 40mm, the 1996 Orion 45mm is fighting in an entirely different and bigger league. It uses a Pink Gold case body that will definitely turn heads anywhere you go. Also, it uses a very durable and fancy looking sapphire crystal in its front and back, which complements well to the watch’s overall design.

In order for the Girard-Perregaux 1996 Orion 45mm to continue its great tradition, they equipped this luxury watch with a tested and proven mechanical movement Calibre GP3300. The bridges and plates are also meticulously engraved, beveled, stretched, and embellished with Cotes de Geneve.

Furthermore, the gilded engravers and steel screws are beautifully revealed because of its sapphire crystal back. You’ll also have an option to choose between a high-quality alligator leather strap or a premium pink gold buckle. Girard-Perregaux did an excellent job making the 1996 Orion one of the best Swiss luxury watches in the market right now.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Light 44MM

If you want to be different in the most luxurious way, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Light is the perfect luxury watch to have. It’s a self-winding mechanical watch that uses a GP01800 Calibre, which provides excellent reliability and astonishing power reserved for up to 54 hours.

If the crystalline body design of the Laureato Absolute Light couldn’t get your likeness, then you might want to check Laureato Skeleton. It uses a premium stainless steel body that offers a combination of luxury and classic feel. However, this luxury watch comes in at a bit of a high price of $33,000, which is way above the Absolute Light’s $17,000 cost.

The Laureato Absolute Light is blunter to flaunt its internal beauty. Going back to its specifications, you’ll have an option to either choose a runner strap material or a titanium folding buckle. The Absolute Light also uses a combination of high-quality titanium and platinum sapphire crystal materials on its case.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Chronograph 44MM

If you’re looking for a self-winding chronograph that offers a powerful presence, the Laureto Absolute Chronograph 44mm is worth considering. Even though it looks bulky, it’s very light, thanks to its lightweight black titanium PVD-treated. The Laureato Absolute Chronograph’s overall design is very masculine.

This watch can go up to 300 meters or 984 feet below sea level, which is actually very shocking. There are only entirely a few luxury watches right now that can go that deep, which makes the Laureato Absolute Chronograph the perfect luxury watch for people who love deep-sea diving.

The Laureto Absolute Chronograph uses a titanium PVD as its case material, making it very easy to carry anywhere. It has two different strap and buckle, rubber, and titanium PVD folding buckle options, which is both very appealing to look at. Also, this watch uses a GP03300 Calibre that provides 46 hours of power reserve.

Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Earth To Sky Edition

Do you want to go vintage? The Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Earth to Sky Edition is the perfect vintage luxury watch. When wearing this timepiece, you’re like time traveling back to the past because of its very classic and vintage design you won’t find from other luxury brand manufacturers right now.

Its case material is made of high-quality titanium while covering its front and back with premium quality sapphire crystal. Also, its dial color is polycrystalline, which complements the overall design queue of the watch. Both the Vintage 1945 and the Laureato Absolute Chronograph are using the same GP03300 Calibre.

Takeaway

There aren’t so many luxury watches that you can find on the market right now that can compete with the extraordinary design and one of a kind experience that you’ll get from Girard-Perregaux’s luxury watches collection. If you’re still looking for a more vintage, classic, and chronograph type of watches from this brand, go to watchshopping.com.

TCL Patent Revealed A Folding Smartphone That Easily Transforms Into A Wristband

Undoubtedly, 2019 would be the year of foldable phones, and, obviously, every tech company out there would love to get a share of this emerging market. While Samsung would present its foldable device in just a couple of days, along with the Galaxy S10, other companies are working on their own such devices. TCL, for its part, is working on something special. In a recent TCL patent, the company revealed a folding smartphone that easily transforms into a wristband, changing the concept of foldable phones.

Samsung and Huawei would most likely become the leaders in the emerging market of folding smartphones. But there’s room for other manufacturers, as well. We already heard rumors that all the big players in the smartphone industry are working on their foldable phones, and we’ve even seen some of the patents or mockups of those upcoming devices.

However, TLC is the latest tech company to draw attention with its concept of a folding smartphone that easily transforms into a wristband, similar to a sort of smartwatch.

TCL Patent Revealed A Folding Smartphone That Easily Transforms Into A Wristband

While the concept of a very flexible smartphone that can also be worn as a wristband is not new since Lenovo had presented it about three years ago, TCL filed a patent including this device. More specifically, the most recent TCL patent revealed five different foldable phones. While the first four of them are looking similar to what we’ve already seen from Samsung, Huawei, and others, the fifth device is a folding smartphone that converts into a wristband.

It would be lovely to see this device becomes a reality, but we can keep dreaming about it because TCL is not going to launch any foldable smartphone until 2020.

Also, next year, it’s not likely that TCL would come up directly with this folding smartphone that turns into a wristband, but it’s not improbable, either, as, by 2020, the market will most probably be flooded with foldable phones that would convert from smartphones to tablets. So, why wouldn’t we also get one folding smartphone that would transform into a smartwatch?
