Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One Would Occupy Approximately 88 Gb

There are less than two weeks left before one of the significant events of the year in the gaming industry, the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And if about a month ago there was news that the Rockstar’s title on PlayStation 4 would occupy about 105 Gb, now, we find out that Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would hold about 88 Gb.

Recently, the official Red Dead Redemption 2 web page has been updated within the Xbox store, and we can now see there more details about the upcoming title. According to the site, the game will need approximately 88 Gb free internal storage space on the Microsoft console for the installation package.

Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would occupy 88 Gb which might be a problem for Xbox One 500 Gb owners

It seems that Rockstar has not yet made any official comment on this information, but some Xbox One users may find such a download size somewhat tedious. Accordingly, those who will suffer the most will be those who own the 500 Gb variant of Xbox One, as they will have to prepare their console for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 since it would occupy about a fifth of the storage space they have.

And, while there’s nothing left to be revealed ahead of the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date and the franchise’s fans are quite anxious, Rockstar tries to calm people down by gradually announcing new features within the game. Thus Rockstar showed that it would include the possibility of playing without following the map for the missions and the new customization of weapons depending on the gamers’ taste, among others.

Also, Rockstar gave “life” to each place on the in-game map so that the player would feel immersed in the storyline of the game. Although there’s almost no need to remember because, if you’re a fan, you’re already counting days, but Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One will launch on October 26th. The PlayStation 4 version would arrive on the same day, too.

Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell Games Made For Xbox One

This week, Microsoft just launched two right games for Xbox 360, from Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell set: Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Blacklist is the latest portion in the Splinter Cell arrangement, initially released in 2013. It happens after the big events of Splinter Cell: Conviction and presents various new aptitudes and devices to Sam Fisher’s stockpile, similar to the Tri-Rotor drone. GameSpot granted the title an 8/10 in our unique Splinter Cell: Blacklist survey and it was stated that it has excessively numerous sweet adventures in store for you to miss them.

Double Agent, therefore, was initially launched in 2006. This one marked the debut of the Xbox 360 set and shows the hero, Sam Fisher, penetrate a terrorist group. It got an 8.5/10 in GameSpot’s unique Splinter Cell: Double Agent survey, in which it was said that, “Double Agent’s few keen twists on Splinter Cell’s single-player gameplay don’t result in a remarkably different experience from the previous games, though that doesn’t mean it still isn’t some of the best stealth action out there.”

If you still have a duplicate of one of the titles, you can put the disc into your Xbox One to start playing. In the meantime, those who’ve bought either game online will discover them in the Ready to Download zone of Xbox One’s. In the event that you don’t officially possess the titles but you want to check them, they are likewise accessible to download from the Microsoft Store.

July has been a genuinely crowded month for good launches. A week ago, Microsoft included two Silent Hills games – Homecoming and HD Collection – to the good library, while Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter arrived not long ago.

How can Xbox One’s Compatibility Issues be Fixed?

One of the main things that gave Xbox One the success that it has right now is the fact that it has the backward compatibility option. Since this came out almost three years ago, it looks like Microsoft is hard at work, making sure that the game’s library is expanding at a steady pace. Moreover, it looks like many of the games will be upgraded to a 4k version after the release of Xbox One X.

There is an update in the works and even if we do not know a lot about it so far here is what we hope that it is going to include.

Bringing back Xbox Live

This is perhaps one of the most requested thing from gamers worldwide. Bringing such a thing from a mere request to a reality is a very difficult process since there are security and compatibility issues between the old Xbox Live and the current version. While bringing back Xbox Live is not completely impossible, it would require a lot of resources and a system able to back it up and run it smoothly. In a nutshell, it is going to take a lot of time to do that.

More games for fans

There could be so much done when it comes to the number of games that are currently available on the Xbox One. For one, there are only 16 games that are original to the first Xbox and available through the backwards compatibility option for Xbox One. Some of the original platform’s most interesting games out there are not available and we would like to see that change in the future.

By deciding to upgrade these games to other versions as well, Xbox could increase its sales while not having to put in a lot of effort in order to reach their goals.
