Bitfinex To End Fiat Deposit Freeze, While Tether (USDT) Fell Below The $0.90 Mark

Tether (USDT), the most popular USD-backed “stablecoin,” just fell below the $0.90 mark on Bitfinex as the regular investors turned to Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies, worrying about the USDT reserves. At the same time, Bitfinex announced it would end its fiat deposit freeze.

According to CoinMarketCap, Tether (USDT) experienced a drop, reflected by a 5% increase in Bitcoin (BTC). However, at the moment of this writing, Tether (USDT) trades at $0.965, falling by about 2.5% over the last 24 hours. On the other hand, Bitcoin (BTC) sells at $6,624 after surging by about 5% in the previous day.

Bitfinex paused deposits in fiat currency for “certain customer accounts” after they suffered some “processing complications.” However, Bitfinex announced that they would end fiat deposits freeze, about at the same time Tether (USDT) dropped below the $0.90 mark.

“How any rational party can claim insolvency when the opposite is there for all to see is interesting and, once again, perhaps indicative of a targeted campaign based on nothing but fiction,” Bitfinex representatives stated.

Bitfinex To End Fiat Deposit Freeze, While Tether (USDT) Fell Below The $0.90 Mark

Last Thursday, when Bitfinex revealed that fiat deposits are paused, some investors became suspicious due to the lack of details from Bitfinex regarding the mentioned “complications” that made the exchange halt fiat deposits.

“We are working to implement a new and increasingly robust fiat deposit system to be available in the next 24 hours, by Tuesday, October 16th, 2018, to allow for the efficient processing of the fiat deposits,” reads the latest update on the situation, offered by Bitfinex.

However, the Bitfinex decision to pause fiat deposits triggered some reactions in traders who turned to Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies, concerning the Tether (USDT) reserves. The movement caused Tether (USDT) to drop below the $0.90 mark on Bitfinex, eventually, and to generate a slight surge in Bitcoin (BTC) value against the US Dollar.

Latest Huawei Mate 20 Leaks Revealed A Stylus in the Galaxy Note Style

The latest Huawei Mare 20 leaks reveal what appears to be an official document where there are images taken in a Huawei store exposing the smartphones as they will be sold in the upcoming days. That alone would not be anything striking. However, in the pics, right next to the smartphone dubbed as Huawei Mate 20 X, there is a stylus, pretty much in the Galaxy Note style.

First Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Rumors Hint To A Bigger Screen And No 3.5-mm Jack

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has only been on the market for a short time, but we already have the first Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rumors. According to the latest information on this device, Note 10 would boast a bigger screen and, unfortunately for many users, no 3.5-mm jack for headphones.

The new device, which could be codenamed “Da Vinci,” will focus on improving the flagship feature of the Note series, the S Pen. Rumors also point to the future Samsung Galaxy Note 10 would ditch the 3.5-mm jack for headphones, following the example of other manufacturers, including Apple which gave up using that universal jack a few years ago.

Besides, these rumors also indicate that the future Galaxy Note 10 would come out with a larger display than its predecessor, at least.

First Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Rumors Hint To A Bigger Screen

On the other hand, according to the first Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rumors, the device might boast a larger screen than the Note 9. Accordingly, Galaxy Note 10 would come out with a 6.66-inch display, at least, as revealed by the Korean news portal “The Bell.” Although it wouldn’t be the biggest smartphone on the market, it will be slightly larger than Apple iPhone XS Max which packs a 6.5-inch screen.

The aspect ratio will also boost to 19:9 or 19.5:9, and the rumors also indicate that the future Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphone would also come with thinner bezels, which might not make the Note 10 bigger than its predecessor, but only with a larger display. In other words, the Note 10 would come out with a higher screen-to-body ratio than Note 9, for example.

Of course, these are just the first Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rumors so everything might change before the device’s release data which might take place somewhen in the second half of 2019. Besides, until then, many Note 10 leaks and rumors would emerge online.

Nokia 7.1 To Receive Android 9 Pie Update, Along With Five Other Nokia Smartphones

HMD Global plans to port Android 9 Pie to three existing Nokia smartphones this month. According to AndroidCentral, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 6.1 Plus would receive the new Google OS version by the end of October, while Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco would update to Android 9 Pie by the end of November.

The fact of offering handsets powered by Android One, clearly allows Nokia to get ahead of its competitors in updating their systems to the new Android 9 Pie. And indeed, thanks to the use of this platform, which provides a pure Android experience, HMD Global can deploy updates faster than other manufacturers. As an example, the Nokia 7 Plus received the stable version of Android 9 Pie last week. Owners of that model can already take advantage of the improvements brought by the new version of Google’s OS for mobiles.

And it seems that the Chinese manufacturer wants to update three other handsets to the new Android 9 Pie. These would be Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7.1. Accordingly, the before-mentioned devices would receive the latest OS update by the end of October.

Android 9 Pie to reach Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 6.1 Plus soon

Nokia 7.1 is a relatively new product which launched with Android 8.1 Oreo. However, it will soon receive Android 9 Pie update, which is excellent news for the device’s owners. Once again, HMD Global is very responsive in updating their terminals to new Android versions, compared with the other manufacturers are slow to deploy new upgrades.

Additionally, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 7.1 will not be the only ones to benefit from the new version of Android shortly. According to AndroidCentral, the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will also get Android 9 Pie in November.

That being said, the list of Nokia smartphones to get Android 9 Pie will include at least six devices by the end of next month. For the moment, we don’t have any indication yet about the OS porting to other models. So far, we only know that Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8, and Nokia 8 Sirocco would receive Android 9 Pie.

Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One Would Occupy Approximately 88 Gb

There are less than two weeks left before one of the significant events of the year in the gaming industry, the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And if about a month ago there was news that the Rockstar’s title on PlayStation 4 would occupy about 105 Gb, now, we find out that Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would hold about 88 Gb.

Recently, the official Red Dead Redemption 2 web page has been updated within the Xbox store, and we can now see there more details about the upcoming title. According to the site, the game will need approximately 88 Gb free internal storage space on the Microsoft console for the installation package.

Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One would occupy 88 Gb which might be a problem for Xbox One 500 Gb owners

It seems that Rockstar has not yet made any official comment on this information, but some Xbox One users may find such a download size somewhat tedious. Accordingly, those who will suffer the most will be those who own the 500 Gb variant of Xbox One, as they will have to prepare their console for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 since it would occupy about a fifth of the storage space they have.

And, while there’s nothing left to be revealed ahead of the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date and the franchise’s fans are quite anxious, Rockstar tries to calm people down by gradually announcing new features within the game. Thus Rockstar showed that it would include the possibility of playing without following the map for the missions and the new customization of weapons depending on the gamers’ taste, among others.

Also, Rockstar gave “life” to each place on the in-game map so that the player would feel immersed in the storyline of the game. Although there’s almost no need to remember because, if you’re a fan, you’re already counting days, but Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One will launch on October 26th. The PlayStation 4 version would arrive on the same day, too.
