Nintendo Switch Is Selling Faster Than Any Other Current-Gen Console

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold over 3 million copies across the United States in the first 11 days after the game rolled out on December 7th. But that’s not the only thing Nintendo managed to pull off. Also, Nintendo Switch is selling faster than any other current-gen console, according to Nintendo’s internal data.

According to the NPD Group, which tracks video game sales in the United States, Nintendo Switch sold more than 8.7 million units, surpassing the sales of any other current-gen console across the US.

“Nintendo is also the overall top-selling U.S. software publisher so far for 2018, according to NPD data through November. This performance should receive an additional boost from the December release of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game,” reported Business Wire which added that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ” had become not only the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch game of all time but also the fastest-selling game in the Super Smash Bros. series.”

iOS 12.1.2 Rolled Out To Solve Out eSIM Bugs, Among Others

Apple has just released a new update for its iPhone with version iOS 12.1.2 that mainly brings corrections to errors that users were claiming, such as the problems that some iPhone had to activate eSIM.

In addition to bringing new features, the updates are used primarily to improve the security of our smartphones and to correct bugs in previous versions of the operating system. For example, a few days ago we witnessed how Apple intended to avoid the block imposed by Chinese justice on the sale of iPhone 7 models employing an update that eliminates the functions claimed by Qualcomm as the subject of copyright infringement.

Now Apple has released a new version of its operating system for mobiles, iOS 12.1.2, that would solve several problems found in the previous iOS version used by the latest iPhone XS, XS Max and XR models. The main problem that users encountered prevented the activation of the eSIM.

By activating the eSIM, the system combines with the standard SIM card to provide the dual SIM functionality that allows users to have two separate phone lines on their iPhone, one for work and one for personal use, for example.

The upgrade also includes a solution to a problem that prevented a number of Turkish iPhone owners from connecting to their wireless service providers. Apple’s announcement does not specify any further changes, so we don’t know if this is the same update that promised to resolve the dispute between Apple and Qualcomm in China.

To perform the system update, you just need to wait for the notification to arrive on your device or go to Settings, and then to the General and Software Update section. The update weighs 418 MB, so it is advisable to activate WiFi and make sure you have enough battery before installing the new iOS 12.1.2.

Xbox Scarlett Project Might Consist Of Two Consoles – Xbox Anaconda And Xbox Lockhart

The next generation of Microsoft consoles, known as Xbox Scarlett, could actually be a family of consoles consisting of two machines, namely Xbox Anaconda and Xbox Lockhart.

During the last months, we have been talking a lot about the future of Microsoft in the world of video games consoles as it is known that they are already preparing their next-generation Xbox. The console, known until now as Xbox Scarlett, could be much more than we thought. It seems that Project Scarlett is actually a family of two consoles – Xbox Anaconda and Xbox Lockhart.

According to Brad Sams, on his YouTube channel, Xbox Lockhart would be the codename of the successor of the current Xbox One S, while Xbox Anaconda would be the follow-up to the current-gen Xbox One X. According to the rumors, Microsoft calls Xbox Lockhart as Scarlett Arcade and Xbox Anaconda as Scarlett Pro. Accordingly, Xbox Lockhart would have less power than Xbox Anaconda, although both would share the same architecture and infrastructure.

On the other hand, Brad Sams pointed out that soon we could start hearing more about Danta which would be the name of the Xbox Anaconda development kit that Microsoft would soon begin sending to developers.

And if that weren’t enough, also as reported by Sams, Microsoft would even plan to launch a machine known as Maverick which would be the rumored Xbox without a disk reader and would arrive accompanied by a device called Roma which would serve to reproduce digital content such as the Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold.

In short, it seems that Microsoft is preparing something significant for its next-generation of video game consoles, although we can not ensure you that Xbox Scarlett is actually a family consisting of several machines, as the company has not yet come up with an official announcement in this regard.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Glitch In Version 1.2.0 Gives An Infinite Spawning Of Assists

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1.2.0 update just rolled out with some improvements and new changes but also with a glitch that gives an infinite spawning of assists. That might excite some gamers but, in reality, the bug is crashing the game.

As we’ve reported already in a recently posted article, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1.2.0 version, which is first post-release update, came out with stability and performance improvements, as well as with game balance adjustments and some bug fixes. However, it also rolled out with a new glitch that, when triggered, gives an endless spawning of assists.

Besides, several characters, such as Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Luigi, Ice Climbers, Young Link, Olimar, Toon Link, Villager, Greninja, PAC-MAN, Duck Hunt, and Isabelle received several updates and fixes. And, by the way, the new glitch is all about Isabelle. Here’s how to make the infinite spawning of assists happen thanks to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1.2.0 bug.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Glitch In Version 1.2.0 Gives An Infinite Spawning Of Assists

To trigger the glitch, you should fight with Isabelle against Isabelle and make them both hook in an assist trophy using the fishing rod special move. If the timing is correct, then an infinite spawning of assists would happen. However, that’s not as cool as it sounds because it could cause the game to freeze, as reported by Eurogamer.

The Redditor TheAfrowJow discovered the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1.2.0 glitch which has been explored since then with the 59-strong roster of assist trophy characters, including the Waluigi, the fans favorite. However, the bug would eventually be fixed by Nintendo.

In other news, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a successful title for Nintendo Switch, as it has broken all the records in Japan since it rolled out on December 7th, 2018. Also, the recently released 1.2.0 update brought some significant changes and improvements.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 Release Date, News, And More

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 would be a follow-up to the Garden Warfare 2, the third installment in the franchise and the second in the Garden Warfare story-arc.
