All Xiaomi phones on Android Oreo Gets LDAC High-Quality Support

According to MyDrivers, in the future, LDAC will be suported by all Xiaomi phones running on Android Oreo.

LDAC support will be developed on Android Oreo for all Xiaomi devices and soon later it will become stable, according to the report.

If you want to test it, you only need to install a developer build.

More about LDAC

Sony has developed a lossy audio codec called LDAC in order to facilitate Bluetooth devices. It has a much higher bitrate than was previously possible with Bluetooth audio and it launched with Android Oreo as part of AOSP. For music listening, you can transfer audio data at a bitrate of 990kbps, faster than usual. Although LDAC is really only useful for lossless music streaming, it is still a cool addition to Xiaomi’s phones. Will you use it for streaming music to a Bluetooth speaker? Probably not. Will you use it when listening to lossless music on your high-end headphones? It’s possible.

LDAC does not only comes with advantages so a con would be that you need wireless technology that supports LDAC. It is not needed for most headphones, but this technology is set aside for the higher-end ones. Making a comparison with Qualcomm’s aptX, LDAC is better than it and than aptX HD. HD ups the regular aptX that tops out at around a 352 kbps bitrate, to 576kbps. What aptX has over LDAC is low latency, a detail that does make a difference.

Are you a regular music listener? Then, neither of these options matter. Most files you listen to, usually top out at a bitrate of 320kbps, such as mp3 files. As any CD rips that you take yourself and convert to FLAC will likely not exceed 920kbps, FLAC is where this particular technology shines through. Audiophiles, this is a great addition for you, but it will not bring any other benefit to the others. Even though they do not have to, it is surprising to see Xiaomi pulling features from AOSP.

iPad Pro 2018 New Features to Beat iPhone X

An incredibly popular iOS feature could possibly be featured in Apple’s iPad Pro 2018.

The iOS 12 beta

It is already an eye-catching improvement for iPad and out with a full version, iOS 12 beta is expected to be released to the public by the end of 2018.

iPad users that already have iOS 12 beta on their devices can make almost no difference between it and an iPhone X as they can navigate using similar gestures.

It is easy to use, a multitasking window can be opened by swiping up from the bottom and swiping down on the top right of the screen will enable the Control Centre.

Apple fanatics already were given a hint by these features that a redesign for the iPad pro 2018 is planned. It is expected to have a Face ID camera, no home button and bezels to be reduced.

Confirmations

Steve Troughton-Smith (iOS app developer) enforced the fact that a new camera system might be added because of his leaked picture on Twitter showing „AvatarKit” on the iPad as a bunch of Animojis popped on the wider display of a tablet.

For the uninformed, Animoji is the well-known software that enables the user to transfer his facial expressions onto a character that imitates them.

Without a new iPad with Face ID technology and the user being able to easily unlock the tablet, the developer allowed for assurance of a new prototype being in the plan.

New tweets from Troughton-Smith confirmed: „New in iOS 12: AvatarKit comes to iPad. Still requires a TrueDepth camera to do face tracking, though, i.e. an iPad with Face ID.”

Another iOS developer followed, Guilherme Rambo, shared a video of the tablet showing the Face ID capture interface.

Changes were needed so the Face ID menu was redesigned and fitted to suit the iPad’s larger screen and further rumours that the tablet will have a new front-facing camera system were risen.

“The Face ID setup UI is finally working on iPad.” Mr Rambo said.

Further information

Unlocking a device using their face will be allowed for multiple users giving a clue that iPad might receive an iteration of the unlocking software.

Big families will love this opportunity, as iPad allows an unlimited number of owners.

September is Apple’s month as iOS 12 will debut fully and a new iPhone model apace with a new series of iPads is expected.

Clash of Clans Update – The Easiest Guide for Better Performance

Clash of Clans came out in force in 2013 as an Android game, and its popularity is still raising – it’s in the top trending mobile games, and it has earned its place there.

Clash of Clans represents a fantasy strategy game in which a player should build its own town and fight with other players. You need to have all the fighting going on since you’ll get resources to build a defense town – so you’ll need to fight. A lot.

You need to acquire gold, dark elixir and elixir. You’ll use the gold and the elixir to build the defense, then reload it. Defense is a very important part of the game since it’s a must to protect your town when fighting with other players. The elixir and dark elixir are used for training the troops and upgrading them from time to time and to get the spells you’ll need during your battles.

Clan stands for that part of the game when players form a team (a clan) of around 50 people. If players form a clan, it would be easier for them to attack other clans, which are probably larger and they can also share the resources. If you don’t like playing online, the game has a single-player mode, too. In this case, you won’t be attacking other players, but random goblin villages.

Clash of Clans Forum

There are on the internet some Clash of Clans forums that may come in handy. One of them is the official one, called Supercell. This site gives you different venues for your gaming requirements. In the General discussion, you can find a few threads that show the basis of the game – strategy, tactics, improvements. The whole team of developers is behind this forum, so if you have any suggestions, don’t be afraid to help.

Jailbreaking iOS 11.3.1 / iOS 11.2: Here’s What You Should Do

This jailbreaking is meant for those who use Electra as a jailbreaking tool for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

It’s been a while now, and clients cannot wait anymore for the iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak to arrive. The team behind the Electra jailbreak have kept their word, and they’re releasing an updated version of this tool that will cover the devices with iOS 11.2 to iOS 11.3.1. This means lots of good news for those who waited so much time and remained with iOS 11.3.1 just to get this jailbreak.

We’re talking about a semi-untethered jailbreak. This means that every time your device restarts or loses power, you’ll have to quit the certificate to make your device jailbroken again. It’s always good to have a backup for everything on your device before doing the jailbreak. If this goes wrong, at least you’ll still have all of your stuff.

So, how are you doing it?

The first thing you need to do is to download the latest Electra jailbreak file. You can get it from the official website. Save it to your desktop. Then you’ll need to get Cydia Impactor. Now it’s time to connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your PC. You can do this by connecting a Lightning cable. Open Cydia Impactor and put the Electra1131 IPA file onto it. Cydia Impactor will ask you to sign in with your Apple ID – do it, as it’s entirely safe. After this, Cydia will proceed to install the IPA file on your gadget.

After this, the brand new Electra jailbreak app will appear on your Home Screen. Don’t open it just yet. Go to the Settings, to General, to Profiles & Device Management. From there, tap on your Apple ID, then on the blue Trust button. After this, the certificate will become trusted, so you just need to put your iOS gadget in airplane mode, then open the Electra app. Then press the Jailbreak button and wait to for it to load. After it’s done, the Cydia icon will appear on the Home Screen. Get off airplane mode and make the most out of the jailbreak.
