Fortnite 7.10 Update Allows Gamers To Blast Down Walls

At the moment, Fortnite is the most popular game worldwide, and Epic Games, its developer, wants to keep it that way by frequently updating the title with new content, such as skins, weapons, and loot, among others, as well as with new features. The latest Fortnite 7.10 update allows gamers to blast down walls, along with other new stuff added to the game.

During the winter holidays, Fortnite and Epic Games did not celebrate with eggnog and gingerbread, but they worked on the 14 days of Fortnite and brought new and vintage LTMs and dance-party-themed goodies to celebrate the new year with a “boom.” More specifically, they added a potent “boom box” to allow gamers to blast down walls and buildings without damaging the other players.

Even though it sounds interesting, it is annoying some of the players who already asked Epic Games to remove that “boom box,” but we don’t know when the game studio would eliminate it as it did with the game-breaking Infinity Blade.

Fortnite 7.10 Update Allows Gamers To Blast Down Walls, Among Other New Things It Brought

While Fortnite 7.10 update allows gamers to blast down wall and buildings with a powerful “boom box,” that’s not all in the latest patch. Fortnite 7.10 also brought Fortnite’s sandbox Creative mode which is still in early release and, even though it might boast some bugs, new features for it are still rolling out. In the last one, eight new Ice Castle Prefabs were added, permitting players to implement frosty fortresses in their constructions.

Besides, as usual, Fortnite 7.10 update came out with a new Battle Pass. According to Epic Games, more than 100 new exclusive rewards can now be unlocked by gamers, including the weapon and vehicle Wraps, along with a whole bunch of new skins. And all that for only 950 V-bucks.

Under the hood, Fortnite 7.10 came with improved stability, balance adjustments, bug fixes, and various enhancements, as well.

Call of Duty 2019 Game Would Not Be Call of Duty: Ghosts 2

It’s just January 3rd, 2019, but rumors regarding this year’s new Call of Duty game have already emerged on the Internet. It all started after the Infinity Ward’s Communications Manager, Ashton Williams, posted a sort of Ghosts-related GIF on Twitter. Accordingly, the fans began to talk about the possibility of a Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 in 2019. However, Kotaku reporter Jason Schreier reported on ResetEra that Call of Duty 2019 game would not be a Call of Duty: Ghosts sequel. It might be a new Modern Warfare title.

“It ain’t Ghosts 2,” said Kotaku’s Jason Schreier on ResetEra, which is in line with the statements of Activision’s former CEO from March 2018.

“Its suffice to say I think we have the best three year slate in Call of Duty’s history, which is really saying something given this franchise’s history. And I think we’ve got multiple different game universes that we know our players love on tap, so obviously, more to come on that,” said Activision’s former CEO, Eric Hirshberg.

Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 Will Not Be The Upcoming Call of Duty 2019 Game

As usual, a new Call of Duty title will come out this year, too. While we don’t have any official details on the upcoming Call of Duty 2019 game, rumors have already emerged on the Internet in the first days of this new year. While some people believe that Infinity Ward would release Call of Duty: Ghosts 2, given that Ashton Williams posted a Ghosts-related GIF on Twitter.

However, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier stated that it’s not going to be so, and most probably, as reported by other fans of the franchise, Call of Duty 2019 game would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

On the other hand, if we were to believe the words of Activision’s former CEO, Call of Duty 2019 game could also be a new story arc and not a sequel of an older CoD game.

GTA 6: When Do We Get the Game?

The developers of the game don’t have a clear idea about the next version of the game, so it’s crystal clear that we don’t have a certain release date. There are many rumors out there, in the world of internet, and some people believe it will come in 2019, others that it will come in 2020, or even 2022.

It doesn’t matter what date they’re talking about, rumors are rumors, and they’re everywhere, and will be everywhere – about the date, gameplay and characters. And there are many questions that were left unanswered. For example, in what time will GTA 6 be framed in. It’s good to mention that there were some political thoughts when it came to the last game –  GTA 5 reflected the American society in a specific way, and some people were not so happy.

How do we know if they’re making the right decision?

The company has given us some suggestions about the effect of the gameplay. Some elements will be done with a certain goal in mind, perhaps 1970’s USA, and not what they’ve been going on with right now. Republicans, as well as Democrats were not happy, so the developers will probably go for safety with their next game, and every kind of controversy will be left out.

There is another theory on the internet that says that the action will take place in South America, but also in other parts of USA – remember Vice City? It will still be there. Then there are all the other rumors that say that the entire country will be on the map – but it’s less likely for that to happen.

Is there going to be a female character, or not?

They’ve been teasing the female protagonist for a long time. There’s also all kind of speculation, including the fact that a female protagonist will not be relevant to the storyline.

Brawl Stars Is The Best Clash Royale Successor So Far

Supercell’s latest release for mobiles, Brawl Stars, is indeed a great successor for Clash Royale and Clash Of Clans, two of the most popular and appreciated mobile games ever created. However, that seemed like never going to happen after the Brawl Stars’ soft-launch in Canada, in June 2017, and the rollout of the game across other countries in January this year.

Nonetheless, the game appeared like it would never have the same success as Clash Royale and Clash Of Clans, both developed by Supercell, too.

And, indeed, the soft-launch of the games was not successful at all, forcing the Finnish studio to rework the controls and progression system, change the screen orientation, and implement a whole bunch of other enhancements and new features.

Brawl Stars is uniting more genres into one, smartphone-friendly experience. Thus, cataloging Brawl Stars under one genre would be wrong, as Brawl Stars is a perfect combination of a shooter game with Battle Royale, and MOBA, plus that it has some characteristics of other genres, as well.

Brawl Stars Is A Great Clash Royale Successor

Thinking to Brawl Stars as a sort of Battle Royale title, then we should note that, in comparison with Fortnite and PUBG Mobile, both excellent games in their essence, Brawl Stars is well-optimized for mobiles.

Also, Brawl Stars comes with different game modes, out of which Gem Grab is the core mode of this excellent Clash Royale successor. Additionally, Showdown, Brawl Stars’ Battle Royale approach, is another great mode in the latest Supercell’s game.

Besides these, Bounty mode is similar to a team deathmatch, with bonus points offered to the player for taking out opponents.

In the end, we should note that Supercell will most put the same amount of effort in keeping Brawl Stars engaging as it put in its most popular mobile games, Clash Royale and Clash Of Clans.

What’s Next For The Upcoming Xbox and PlayStation Systems?

Gamers are preparing for the next generation of consoles, and they couldn’t be more excited. However, while we do know that Microsoft and Sony are currently developing the PlayStation 5 and the next Xbox consoles, not many details are available. Luckily for us, experts did share with us some details.

What to expect from the next consoles?

Marc-André Jutras is the technical director of Cradle Games. Recently he shared with Gaming Bolt some interesting tid-bits about the consoles. For example, he shared with us what he thinks will be different: “One thing that is going to change will be, you will get a lot more focus on the VRAM, which is the big bottleneck right now if you want good 4K games, because 4K frame buffer takes a lot of space.”

The amount of RAM available was also discussed. “I don’t think we will see 16GB of RAM, most games don’t use that much RAM anyway. I think the next generation will be between 8 and 12, probably,” he explained. “What you will see however is probably a good amount of cores. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next gen was Ryzen 2600 or something like that. Because it is really stable, cheap, and has a good amount of cores.”

It is safe to say that these assumptions are most likely accurate. Jutras knows the gaming industry quite well, and his experience is enough to make us believe his words. He also shared some of his thoughts about VRAM:

“So if you end up with a 4K buffer, you need four times the VRAM. So I think you will see, you won’t see shared RAM space next gen like you do with the PS4. I don’t think you will see that because it’s a big bottleneck. You’ll see more VRAM to support 4K and 5K and whatever else comes around. Just how much of that? I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS5 had 8GB of RAM and 8GB of VRAM,” Jutras concluded.
