Clash Of Clans Daily Challenges Now Live

Get ready to receive some awesome rewards in Clash of Clans! Even though Clan Games is nearly over, you will surely be very busy with the many daily tasks Supercell’s Clash of Clans team has prepared for you. Here is the full list below.

March: Two Weeks of Daily Events

The first week comes with an event every day:

  • Monday – 18 March -> Just One More Win
  • Tuesday – 19 March -> Daily Routine: Home Village
  • Wednesday – 20 March -> Builder Base Stars
  • Thursday – 21 March -> Home Village Havoc
  • Friday – 22 March -> Builder Base
  • Saturday – 23 March -> Clan Reinforcements
  • Sunday – 24 March -> Technically Not Stealing

The second week has not yet been posted on Twitter by the team, but someone on Reddit revealed the next week’s event (the 31 March event not shown yet):

  • Monday – 25 March -> In The Garden
  • Tuesday – 26 March -> Hero Hunting
  • Wednesday – 27 March -> Upgrade Time!
  • Thursday – 28 March -> Siege In Progress
  • Friday – 29 March -> Builder Base Bash-Em-Up
  • Saturday – 30 March -> Chaarrggee!

The daily events should give players XP and probably something more exciting, but there are no details yet from the Clash of Clans devs about them.

Some players on Twitter have asked the team for significant rewards like hero, builder, or troop instant upgrades, not army boosts or other small rewards. Let’s hope they increase the rewards!

These events should be pretty easy. However, you can check out our Guides for Clash of Clans to find better ways to complete the tasks or just be a better Chief! Also, remember to play by the rules, and respect other players.

Check back here for more Clash of Clans updates.

“Halo Insider Program” Is The New Way To Play Halo Games Before Their Launch

Microsoft announced a brand-new testing program for the Halo games. It is named the “Halo Insider Program,” and, as Microsoft describes it, fans will have a new way of working alongside developers from 343 Industries to improve new Halo releases by merely testing them before they are launched.

If you want to be part of the program, you need to sign a confidentiality agreement, but otherwise, you are free to sign up. After that, you will need to take a survey that will include questions related to your history in the Halo franchise, modes, and series you have played. As you keep answering, you will, later on, be asked to provide details that may help you become a member of what 343 is calling “flighting” programs for upcoming Halo titles.

Play Halo games before their launch with the Halo Insider Program

This new Halo Insider Program will replace the MCC Insider Program, and 343 will no longer use the previous one to test the numerous updates of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One. The Halo Insider Program will overarch the program to support all Halo services, titles, and products. Everybody needs to register for the Halo Insider Program even if they were already a member of the MCC Insider Program.

Keep in mind that you need to ensure your Halo Insider Program information is correct if you want better chances to be selected in the program and play Halo games before their launch. You will need to send over your SteamID if you are a PC player and also to provide a DXDIAG upload. “We know everyone is super eager and excited to get started, but please be patient– tweeting at the team and posting in the forums asking to be included or demanding to know why you’re not included won’t help the process,” 343 Industries said.

Android Q Adds Extra Precautions Against Overlay Permission Malware

Android Q is the next Android version, and it would come, of course, with significant changes. From a developer point of view, it appears that one of the most significant changes is one related to the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW permission, which is the one that controls overlays.

The permission has been removed on the “Go” version of Android Q. Meanwhile the overlay permission is revoked by the latest Android Q beta for the apps installed via the Play Store if the device is rebooted. That is something that Android 9 Pie and earlier versions did not have. More than that, sideloaded apps on Android Q will have that permission revoked after 30 seconds.

Using overlay in Android Q

The permissions change on non-Go Android does make overlays frustrating, and it might determine users not to use them. For instance, if an app is relaunched, it will need overlay permission once again. If an app that uses that overlay is running, the overlay is still there even if the consent has been revoked.

Security reasons

Google did not announce these changes publicly, and we weren’t given a justification for them. However, it is not difficult to understand why the overlay permission changes were made. Apps can exploit overlays to capture input, and they can force users to perform actions without knowing.

Nonetheless, a better solution would have been deleting overlays entirely, as they are not safe enough. Instead, Google decided to choose half-measures. It is quite unlikely that the new 30-second restriction is the most efficient solution. However, looking at the way things evolve, there is a big chance that Google will remove permission entirely in the future, and this would be a great way of enhancing security.

At the moment, Android Q beta is the only preview we have on the upcoming Android OS. However, many beta versions would come out before Android Q rolls out in its final version.

Pokemon Go Special Raid Event Leaked, Suggesting We’ll Get Shiny Alakazam As Raid Boss

According to a news report, we’ll have the chance to fight Shiny Alakazam as a Raid Boss in an upcoming Pokemon Go Special Raid event that recently leaked over the Internet.

GamingIntel, however, was the first that received exclusive information about Shiny Alakazam and its appearance as a Raid Boss in a Pokemon Go Specia Raid event that would take place next month. According to GamingIntel, the following info popped up:

  • Alakazam Raid Boss Battle
  • Date: April 7th, 2019
  • Details: 5 passes free
  • Duration: 3 hours of Raid
  • Shiny or Normal? Shiny

A Pokemon Go Special Raid Event happens each month. In the previous ones, we had Rayquaza, this month, in March, and Latias, last month, in February.

“Get ready for a special raid event in Pokémon Go! Although it will probably appear in the second week of April, we cannot be less hyped about encountering the Shiny Alakazam in Pokémon Go as a Raid Boss. It should be epic,” reported MiamiMorningStar.

We’ll fight Shiny Alakazam as Raid Boss in April’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event

The next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event wouldn’t represent the first time Alakazam will appear in Pokemon Go. However, it would be the first time it would come to the game in its Shiny variant.

According to the leak, the Shiny Alakazam would come in pink instead of its regular brown color, while it might also present different animations when it spawns. Shiny Alakazam would boost the statistics as follows, according to the leak:

  • Max CP: 3057
  • Attack: 271
  • Defense: 167
  • Stamina: 146
  • Strongest Moves: Confusion and Futuresight

Gengar, Handoom, Honchkrow, Mewtwo, Tyranitar, and Weaving are the Pokemon monsters that would be the Raid counters for Shiny Alakazam in the next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event.

Niantic should soon announce the April’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event, so we won’t have long to wait for getting whether the confirmation or not of the presence of Shiny Alakazam in the next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event.
