What will (not) be changed in the iPad mini 5

People are not satisfied with what they hear about the next generation of the iPad Mini because it will have the same dimension as its predecessor while not giving up the 6.1mm thickness. In addition to that, the display will measure 7.9 inches as the older model in case Apple does not change the size of the bezels. The tablet is also said to be keeping the headphone jack measuring 3.5mm, the Lightning connector, and Touch ID.

There will be changes!

There is one design change that the company has decided to include and that being the placement of the rear microphone. It will be positioned in the top-center as the sixth-generation iPad’s one.

The report claims that the type of chipset the iPad Mini 5 will be equipped with is still unknown, the rumors fluctuating between the A10X that has been integrated into the Apple TV 4K and the 2017 iPad Pro or the A10 one that can be found in the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, and the sixth-generation iPad.

Also, Samsung would participate at the Mobile World Congress 2019 to take advantage of the event to show off with its new Galaxy S10 series and folding smartphone. Huawei would also come up with a foldable smartphone at MWC 2019, and there are rumors that other manufacturers would present similar devices, too.

What would make MWC 2019 special in comparison to the last year’s event is the presentation of the new trends in the smartphone segment, which would possibly define the next ten years or so – 5G, folding designs, and multiple cameras on the back of devices.
