Is Diablo 4 Coming Out In 2020? Blizzard Hires Diablo and Warcraft Devs For “Several Projects”

Diablo 4 is undoubtedly the most sought-after title from Blizzard by the fans. And there might be some indications that, indeed, Diablo 4 is in the works right now. Blizzard, despite the layoffs, lately, is currently looking for Diablo devs to work on “several projects.”

Everything came out thanks to Blizzard’s COO Coddy Johnson who spoke recently about the studio’s growing resources, even though Activision, Blizzard’s owners, fired about 8 percent of its devs.

“Diablo’s development headcount will grow substantially as the teams work on several projects underway for the franchise, as well as the global launch for Diablo Immortal,” stated Coddy Johnson. He added that Blizzard is also investing in future Warcraft projects. “Overall, Blizzard’s management is reinforcing its pipeline with more resources than ever before to support planned mobile titles, several PC and console releases, and WoW’s continued cadence of content,” Johnson said.

“Future Warcraft projects” might refer to World of Warcraft Classic and Warcraft 3 Reforged, but could also mean something new, something we know nothing about yet.

Is Diablo 4 Coming Out in 2020?

As Coddy Johnson said, Blizzard is hiring Diablo devs to work on several projects. That could mean that Blizzard is willing to boost the development process of Diablo 2 Remastered, but it could also mean that Diablo 4 is under works at Blizzard. In the meantime, as Coddy Johnson said, Activision and Blizzard are focusing on the global launch of Diablo Immortal for mobile devices, developed by Blizzard and NetEase.

On the other hand, Activision stated earlier this year that no significant game release would take place in 2019. That means Diablo 4, if indeed in the works now, would come out in 2020 at least. However, no major game would launch in 2019, but that doesn’t mean Activision and Blizzard won’t announce the potential future rollout of Diablo 4 or Warcraft-based projects. We’ll definitely keep an eye on this topic.

Google Chrome Received 12 New Themes, Including A “Just Black” One In A Preview For Dark Mode

Google Chrome on PC and laptops is more customizable than its Android counterpart, for example. You can install various themes to enjoy a new experience with Chrome. Now, directly from the Chrome team, Google Chrome received 12 new themes, including a “Just Black” one which looks like the upcoming dark mode that the company plans to roll out for its browser for Windows.

The best part of these new themes for Google Chrome is that they come straight from the Chrome team. You can add any of these new 12 themes by going to chrome://settings/appearance. Among the new color options to make your experience with Chrome fun and more enjoyable than usual, you’ll also find Just Black.

This Just Black theme is looking like a dark mode, the feature that is so much popular lately and which Google wants to add to Chrome for Windows and Android after it successfully implemented the night mode on its browser version for macOS Mojave to match the system’s own Dark Mode.

As I’ve already said, Just Black, one of the new themes Google Chrome received, resembles the dark mode that would come soon on Chrome for Windows and Android. Just Black changes the home screen, tabs, bookmarks bar, and everything else in the main interface of Google Chrome from white into black and grey shades. However, the other menus remain white.

Nonetheless, Just Black looks excellent and it’s relaxing when used in low-light conditions. But this sort of dark mode is not the only theme that Google Chrome received recently. There are also some colorful options like the High Contrast Colorful, Pretty in Pink, Banana, Ultra Violet, and more.

Also, there is a classy and relaxing Slate theme colored in dark blue shades. Check the image below to see all the themes released by Chrome team (except for Classic Blue and Black & White, every other theme is new).

Pokemon Go To Receive Go Snapshot, An AR Photo Mode, Finally

Pokemon Go remains a favorite game even now, about three years after its initial launch on mobile devices. With many special events, Community Day, new additions, and a lot of many other things, Pokemon Go keeps its fans glued to their smartphones in their struggle to find and catch rare Pokemon monsters. Now, we have excellent news for the players. Pokemon Go will finally receive an AR photo mode, called Go Snapshot.

Different from the already existing AR mode in the game, which allows players to snap Pokemons in the wild only if they catch these funny monsters, the new Go Snapshot AR photo mode permits gamers to take photos of the Pokemons at any time and anywhere whether they grab those monsters or not.

Even better, Go Snapshot allows Pokemon Go players to throw a Pokeball of any Pokemon creature they want and then to take photos of it to save them onto the device or immediately upload on social media.

An Improved AR Photo Mode, Go Snapshot, To Come To Pokemon Go Soon

In short, Pokemon Go will finally get a new AR photo mode, dubbed as Go Snapshot. As for when would this new AR photo mode come to Pokemon Go, we don’t know yet since Niantic has not revealed anything in this regard. But we know that Niantic already tested Go Snapshot, while an initial build of this feature was even demoed last year.
