The Reserve Bank of India Consider The Development of a Crypto Token for Financial Transactions across India

Despite maintaining a strong position against cryptocurrency, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced in its annual report for 2017-2018, published on Wednesday, the establishment of an interdepartmental committee charged with creating a cryptocurrency mechanism for financial transactions in the country.

Price bubbles in cryptocurrencies market still raising concerns of the RBI

The RBI devotes a full section to cryptos in the annual report 2017-2018, under the title “Cryptocurrencies: Evolving Challenges,” in which it begins by ratifying the strong cryptocurrency regulatory policy that this institution has deployed against cryptos across India.

“Although cryptocurrencies do not pose systemic risks at present, their growing popularity leading to price bubbles raises serious concerns in the area of consumer and investor protection, as well as for market integrity,” said the Reserve bank of India (RBI) in its Annual Report 2017-2018.

The Reserve Bank of India plans on launching a crypto token to conduct financial transactions across India

On August 10th, local sources reported the creation of an Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) composed of members of the RBI, the Ministry of Information Technology and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This committee is responsible for considering the launch of a crypto token for financial transactions in India, including a set of regulations and a roadmap for its use.

“Rapid changes in the payment industry, coupled with factors such as the emergence of private digital tokens and the rising costs of managing fiat currency, have led central banks around the world to explore the option of introducing digital fiat coins. In India, an interdepartmental group has been set up to study and provide guidance on the feasibility of introducing a crypto token issued by the central bank,” the Annual Report 2017-2018 of RBI reads.

Even though the RBI kept its negative stance regarding cryptocurrencies, they plan on releasing a crypto token to conduct financial transactions across India.

Forza Horizon 4 PC aims for 60 FPS, Willing to go Beyond Ultra Settings

As Forza Horizon 3 did not too long ago, the 4th version will be coming to the PC platform as well. You might ask yourself what the change will be. Well, this time the game targets 60 FPS on the PC and because the studio noted that the PC version will attempt to go beyond ultra settings, we expect the 4th game to be better from a visual point of view than Forza Horizon 3.

Playground Games has let us know the system requirements for Forza Horizon 4 and apparently, it will be aimed at 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS, which definitely wasn’t the case for the 3rd game of the franchise. However, the studio noted there will be more graphical settings available for Forza Horizon 4 which will make the settings go ultra on PC. This will require that you will have a strong PC on your hands.

“We’re now basing our recommended spec on 60 frames per second and not 30, which is a change from Forza Horizon 3. We’re really happy with the stability and performance from launch this time round. And we’ve also got a whole bunch of new options you can push [your PC] to the extreme beyond Ultra, if you’ve got a very powerful PC. And of course we’ve got a load of other options in there, so you can build a view for your cameras, you also have access to the HDR option – the first time on PC for Forza” was what the studio had to say.

The game’s designers didn’t forget about the Xbox One X version of the game as they made sure it will also aim for 60 FPS on this gaming platform as well. So far, the studio didn’t reveal nor confirm the system requirements, although we expect the minimum specs to be lower than those for Forza Horizon 3.

GTA 6 Release Date: Is GTA 6 Getting Closer To Official Announcement? We Don’t Think So…

Millions of fans around the world are waiting for the official announcement of the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. However, any official info on GTA 6 is late from emerging. Many rumors appeared online debating when GTA 6 release date will take place and where the action would happen. But, we don’t think Grand Theft Auto VI is getting closer to its official announcement.

GTA 6 rumors – What we know so far…

Even though many bloggers and YouTubers released dozens of rumors on GTA 6, only one of these guys claimed his information is based on insider information. The YouTube channel “The Know” released earlier this year, in March 2018, a video that said that the upcoming title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise would come out somewhen between 2020-2022 and would take place in Vice City.

According to “The Know,” Rockstar dubbed it as “Project Americas” and is working on the game, as we speak. They also claimed that their source talked about the possibility of the gamers to travel from Vice City to a yet undisclosed country in South America to accomplish some missions there.

Also, Grand Theft Auto VI will reportedly allow gamers to impersonate a female main character for the first time in the franchise.

GTA 6 release date – Rockstar will not announce GTA 6 anytime soon

Maybe indeed Rockstar is currently working on the new title of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, but they are also enjoying the great success that GTA 5 and GTA Online still have, so they have no reason to hurry up with the release of GTA 6.

Accordingly, although they are developing the basics of the future game right now, and assuming that some of the before-mentioned rumors are correct, Rockstar might change a lot until the final version launches.

And, by the way, there is nothing official on the GTA 6 release date, so we should take every rumor in that regard with a grain of salt. From what we know so far, Rockstar might announce the new title in 2019-2020, while the final version of Grand Theft Auto VI might hit shelves between 2020 and 2022.

Spider-Man PS4 Devs, Accused Of Downgrading The Graphics, Say That’s Not The Case At All

Video games development is a rigorous process with many things changing from the first trailers to the game’s release and even beyond that with new patches and DLC packs. However, according to a Reddit user, Spider-Man PS4 changed a lot from the E3 trailer to the final version, scheduled to launch during the next week. But, Insomniac Games responded to the accusations of downgrading the graphics saying that’s not the case here.

Well, the difference between what we can see in Spider-Man trailer released during the E3 and the final version is enormous. The first pic below shows a screenshot from the E3 trailer, and we can see some very sharp graphics with lots of details. In the second image, snapshotted from the final version, revealed a downgrade in the graphics, indeed.

Accused of lowering the number of those puddles on the ground, Insomniac Games, Spider-Man PS4 devs, stated on Twitter that it’s not about a downgrade.

If that’s no graphics downgrade in Spider-Man PS4, then what it is?

“It’s just a change in the puddle size, there’s no downgrade at all,” stated Insomniac Games on their Twitter page.

But some gamers said that the devs removed some of the puddles, along with many more other details, to enhance the game’s performance. On this one, the community manager James Stevenson stated that “the puddles being moved had nothing to do with performance.” He also gave an explanation.

“Pretty sure it was a design/art/usability reason thing. Definitely wasn’t performance, as we have spots with tons of puddles in the game with no performance issue,” explained Stevenson. “Bright sunlight causes concrete to blow out and look bright. Plus our post effects (DOF and motion blur tech in particular) are way better in 2018, which causes stuff to be blurrier when pulled like that, but that’s because it’s supposed to look good in motion,” James Stevenson added.

The new Spider-Man PS4 will go live on September 7th, 2018, while Insomniac Games already announced the release of the first DLC for the game, on October 23rd.
