Pokémon Go Harsh Game Rules – Three Strikes and You are Out of the game

Niantic has announced the introduction of its “Three-Strike Discipline Policy”, whose goal is to eliminate all cheaters from Pokémon Go, and at the same time to educate and warn those who are on the verge of breaking the game’s rules.

The first strike – the game becomes more difficult

If the company suspects that you are acting against the rules, you will see a warning message showing in the Pokémon Go app. As a result of this, your chances to encounter a rare Pokémon drop drastically and you are also excluded from receiving new EX Raid Passes for the following seven days.

The second strike – 30 days of account suspension

Once you commit the first offense, you must act carefully from that moment on, as the punishment for the second strike is the account suspension. If Niantic thinks that you violated the rules again, you will be temporarily banned for 30 days, during which time you will not be able to sign in to your account.

The third strike – termination of the account

Once you receive the strikes number one and two, it is really better to stay away from any troubles, as the third strike will result in the termination of your account. In case you already received your second strike, but still continue to cheat, the company will ban you forever from playing Pokémon Go. As harsh as it sounds, with the implementation of the three strike policy, Niantic at least will warn you and give you a chance to stop breaking the rules before your account gets terminated.

The terminations are unlikely to get overturned

In case your account was terminated due to the third strike, Niantic gives you a way to appeal, but at the same time states that the company’s detection system is extremely accurate, therefore “very few terminations are ever overturned”.

According to Niantic, you can get these strikes if you GPS spoof your location or violate the Trainer Guidelines and the terms of service of Pokémon Go.

The Hottest Platforms for Your ICO

If you plan a token sale, you should launch it on Ethereum. This is the thought of many people who are new to cryptocurrency since Ethereum seems to rule the landscape.

After all, Ethereum serves as the base for 90% of the top 100 tokens ranked according to market capitalization. The powerful ERC20 token standard is universally praised by developers, because it allows smart interaction among tokens that share the standard.

You should however keep in mind that Ethereum is not mandatory for launching a token sale.  While it is certainly popular, other platforms have recently gained traction. It has also been observed that many operations built on Ethereum seem to fail.

Keeping all of the above in mind, here are a few safe alternatives to explore:

Stellar

The core of Stellar a unified platform for building block-chain based payment apps. It runs on a custom protocol called federated Byzantine Agreement, employing ‘’quorom slices’’ in order to establish a coherent system-level policy.  It is also preferred by a large company because it can support several high-volume transactions simultaneously with minimal fees.

NEO

Called by some ‘’The Ethereum of China ‘’ NEO is much more than that. Among the benefits, you can count a digital identity infrastructure for identifying both organizations and individuals. It also allows the free trade of digital assets hosted on the network. It is based on the NEOContracts protocol, which allows developers to write it in mainstream languages.

Dispatch

While not available for the public yet, Dispatch may be attractive for developers that need more data storage for their project. It is planned to be released around Q4 of 2018 but development builds are available for interested developers on the company website.

Qtum

The last but not least on our list is Qtum.  The Singapore-based project takes the best from both Bitcoin and Ethereum.  It is very user-friendly and developers are able to switch between protocols in a flash. It is a very convenient solution for both new and experienced developers.

What do we know about Gear S4’s specifications

When it comes to the expecting operating system of the upcoming smartwatch, we do have some contradictory reports. We have heard from many sources that Gear S4 will be based on Samsung’s Tizen OS, most likely its Tizen 5.0 version, which debuted in May. However, a respected tipster, Evan Blass, predicts that Google Wear OS will replace Tizen. It looks like we will have to wait until August 9 in order to find out which operating system will Gear S4 use.

It is expected that the capacity of battery will be increased from 380mAh to 470mAh. The device will also include LTE connectivity.

Samsung Gear S4’s main theme will be health and fitness, therefore we might see not only some fitness-related apps, but even a built-in blood pressure sensor. OnePlus 6 Gets Android P Developer Preview With New Changes

A preview build of the next version of Android was made available on OnePlus 6. This is the first time when users of devices other than the Pixel phones by Google can test the newest version of Android.

The first developer preview for a non-Pixel device

The update that includes the upcoming Android P is called Developer Preview 3 on OnePlus, but it seems like this could be the same version as the fourth developer preview that Google released at the beginning of July. Since the first developer preview for Android P was available only on Pixel phones, the difference in numbers is understandable.

What comes with the update

On the changelog provided by OnePlus we can see the list of improvements and fixes that come with this update. The Developer Preview 3 will include the most recent security patch and it will improve system stability, the quality of the camera, and the compatibility with third-party apps. On the other hand, we might experience certain issues while testing Android P, which is expected with every preview build. Amongst the potential problems listed by OnePlus there are some issues with power consumption, Bluetooth connectivity and the functioning of some apps.

How to get the Developer Preview 3 update

In case you own a OnePlus 6 and want to test Android P to see how it works, you should visit the OnePlus website where you can find the instructions on how to download and install the Developer Preview 3. Once you install the update, be aware of the fact that some additional issues might occur, which were not mentioned by OnePlus.

According to some reports, the fourth developer preview of Android P could be a suitable candidate for an official release, which means that the rollout of the newest version of Android should follow soon.

Google Maps for Web Download Available with New Improvements

With the growing importance of the Google Maps app on mobile devices, no matter if it is Android or iPhone, it is easy to forget that this app was first introduced on the web, where it is still an irreplaceable tool that helps us plan our trips. The web version of Google Maps has seen many new features added recently, and especially one of them would not look out of place on your smartphone or tablet.

With Google Maps you will avoid being late

The new feature, which most of us probably did not notice, will notify you when you have to leave, if you want to make sure that you are not late at your chosen destination. This option, even though it was just introduced on the web version of Google Maps, is something we have already known from the mobile version of the popular digital map.

According to Android Police, it is not known exactly when this feature became available. In January of this year, the notifications related to the Local Guides contributions have started being offered on the web version of Google Maps.

A second feature added to the Notifications toggles

A feature called “Time to leave” is now available in the Notifications toggles in the settings of Google Maps. All you need to do before using it is to simply activate it inside the side menu. You might also get a prompt letting you know about this new option.

Of course, you must be signed into Google Maps in order to use these features. Additionally, you have to agree that Google will have access to your location, otherwise these options will not work. After all, Google has to know where you are to help you travel effortlessly.
