Apple Maps vs. Google Maps – Why Apple Maps Is the One Which You Should Choose

It’s been six years since Apple Maps was launched and many people think it’s the best fit to replace Google Maps.

It has privacy

We all know that Apple and Google have different business models – Maps is the best example of this. For Google, you have something called Google Timeline, which allows you to see where you were in the past. For Apple, you don’t need to sign in to use Maps. All you need to know is created with the help of the data from your device. All the data that Maps collect when you’re using the app (search terms and navigation routing) uses random identifiers to “cover” you. Location is outstanding, and it’s as important to remain unknown to others.

It has Siri

You can now just ask Siri to give you the direction home, without you checking the phone. It’s really helpful to have it in the car while you’re driving. It doesn’t matter if Apple allows the clients to replace Siri with some other default assistant (such as Google or Amazon), Siri will remain the best assistant for those who use iPhone.
It also gives you directions to random addresses, such as 123 Main Street.

It has Apple Watch

Apple Watch may start to disappear, but Apple Maps still remains a built-in and a very helpful feature. When you use your iPhone to navigate in traffic, your Apple Watch will vibrate when you need to take turns. It also works when it comes to walking directions. It’s a win-win.

It has Yelp integration

Apple Maps decided to not waste any time anymore with building a database of company reviews, so it decided to get Yelp integration to deal with that. And it’s understandable, since it has a lot of excellent data on local businesses.

How You Can Download Videos on your iPhone or iPad Without Jailbreak

Music is like a therapy and nothing relaxes us more than listening to our favorite music after a long day at work. Many people from all around the world like to watch the video while listening to a song and this is easy when you have an Internet connection. The hard part comes when you are away from Wi-Fi or data connectivity and you have a lot of time to spend waiting. You can prepare for these situations by downloading videos on your phone so that you can have it with you all the time.

If you are the proud owner of an iPhone or iPad you know that it’s not easy to find an app that allows you to perform this operation without jailbreak. Recently, we have found a way for having new videos on the iPhone anytime. The app we’re talking about it’s free and works on both devices, but the process for installing is not as fast as for other apps. Read this article further and find out more about it.

What’s the app’s name and how can I get it?

In order to have it, the first thing you need to do is to get the file management app for iOS  Readdle Document 6. Before you start, keep in mind that the Readdle has over 100MB. After you have opened it, go to the Safari symbol from the upper left and access the browser within the app. Next you’ll have to type keepvid.com into the address bar and press Go.

After you reach the Home Page, close Documents 6 and from Safari go to YouTube, find the video you want to download and copy the URL. Once it’s copied, return to Documents 6, paste the URL into the box and press Download. When the browser shows the options, choose the one you like, but remember that higher resolutions take up more space. After you have chosen the quality, rename the video and save it Documents6. After that, click Save and the video will be downloaded on your iPhone or iPad.

In the end, you will have to move the video from Documents 6 to the iOS 10 Photo Reel. Go to the Downloads folder from Documents 6, find the video, select Move option, then Select Document and All photos. From here you can use the video as you want.

Ethereum Not To Be Secure – Why Is It Different from Other Cryptocurrencies

The hotly anticipated choice on the world’s second-biggest cryptographic money could have sweeping ramifications for digital currencies and organizations seeking after initial coin offerings, or ICO’s.

Setting aside the gathering pledges that went with the formation of Ether, in light of William Hinman’s comprehension of the current situation with Ether, the Ethereum system and its decentralized structure, sales and current offers of Ether is not transactions covered in security. William Hinman is the director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s breach of corporate finance.

What’s more, when it comes to Bitcoin, applying the disclosure administration of the government securities laws to current transactions in Ether would appear to give the impression of low esteem.

What if Ethereum was cataloged as secured?

If Ethereum, which currently has a worldwide market cap of generally $50 billion, should be cataloged as secure, it would be liable to the SEC’s financial specialist insurance rules. Specific trades that encourage exchanging of the digital currency would likewise be required to register with the office.

Rather than that, the SEC seemed to see Ethereum and some other similar tokens more like they do with Bitcoin, which is right now named as a commodity and is under the protection of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The process of how the administration chooses what’s and what’s not a security

Utilizing wording from a 1949 Supreme Court administering, the Howey test shows New York exchanges as speculation contracts if a man puts his cash in a typical undertaking and is directed to expect benefits exclusively from the endeavors of the promoter or a third party.

ICOs have been in a condition of administrative vulnerability as the two developers and speculators fear a security assignment could come later on. That could influence their capacity to raise finances or proceed with an investment. While the organizations frequently utilize ICOs to subsidize ventures, they’ve generally kept themselves away from the securities assignment on the grounds that the coins are intended to work in the project’s last product, rather than a desire for future benefits or possession in the organization.

Apple and Qualcomm Legal Battle: 5G and National Security

Apple is in the position to explain to a U.S trade judge how iPhones that include Intel Crop. Chips should be allowed in the country, given the fact that they violate a Qualcomm Inc. patent. This is what this famous company has to do, according to an S. International Trade Commission hearing in Washington. This is a part of the legal battle between Apple and Qualcomm. The lawyers of the staff, together with ITC, decided that Judge Thomas Pender should rule that Apple actually violated one of three of the Qualcomm patents, regarding a battery-saving feature.

It’s all a race between United States of America and China: who’s going to release 5G first?

The staff also talked about a potential Intel-based iPhones that can run with a next-gen 5G that should be allowed in the country in order to not “surrender” in front of China. The lawyers of these two famous tech companies accepted to work on Friday in one of the four dozen legal cases which are pending in the whole world, and all of them are linked to a dispute regarding a license that lets mobile devices to communicate.

The ITC can block products from coming into the country that violets U.S patents. However, it has to consider the impact on both the economy and the public.

One of the staff’s lawyers, Lisa Murray, stated that iPhone that has Qualcomm chips (you know, the ones that Apple already sells?) could replace those iPhones that have Intel chips in the market. The problem is: how is a ban going to affect the U.S’s intentions to stay ahead of China in 5G. They also wonder if this is really in the best interest of the country.

PlayStation 5 to Use AMD’s Navi GPU, the Zen CPU – Amazing New Changes

You read that right! AMD has designed its Navi graphics architecture (GPU) to be mainly used in PlayStation 5, as “industry sources” talked to the Forbes. This anonymous source also stated that for the next-gen console, they would use the AMD’s Zen, which was the CPU that was used in the Ryzen brand gaming desktops.

We don’t really know much about the AMD’s Navi, but what we know so far is that it will use the 7nm process. Some gossips say that it was created to be used primarily in PlayStation 5. Just as the source said, two-thirds of the staff which was working on the Radeon RX Vega (and also other projects) were redirected to work on the Navi, thing that led to the RX Vega launch. This was not welcomed very well by Raja Koduri, who is the head of Radeon Technologies Group.

About the next-gen consoles from Sony

There’s not a word from Sony with regards to the next-gen consoles. After the event which took place earlier this month, with E3, some people started to think about whether Sony really has some new hardware to reveal or not. This happened after Shawn Layden, who is the chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios made an announcement in May on the PlayStation Blogcast. He merely said that they’re going to focus on their content (which is probably going to be awesome), but there will be no new hardware announcement at E3 this year.

We can be sure of one thing though: E3 2018 gave some details about Sony’s still-unshared titles, for example, “The Last of Us Part II” and “Marvel’s Spider-Man”. However, no one heard anything about PlayStation 5.

Phil Spencer, from Microsoft, however, said in an announcement that they are actually working on the next generation of consoles. In plural. More than one console.
There’s still a year until the E3 2019, so it’s still plenty of time for Sony to give us some details about the PlayStation 5. As you probably remember, Sony didn’t want to announce the PlayStation 4 at E3 2013, so this put even more pressure on the fact that we have some time to wait until the big reveal. From where we’re standing, the PlayStation 5 will probably not make its appearance sometime earlier than 2019 or even 2020.

However, the Interactive Entertainment CEO from Sony, John Kodera, said in a statement from May that we should prepare our goodbyes, as the PlayStation 4 has entered the final stage of its life.
