Gmail Update on Android to Receive New Inbox Features

In case you forgot about the existence of the Google Inbox, we must let you know that technically it is still available until March 2019. However, in September 2018 Google announced that it will shut it down so it is clear that you might have already moved by now. Unfortunately for Google Inbox users, this app was only used by the mother company to test out possible features for Gmail. Speaking of which, not too much time ago it got a major makeover. According to a Redditor on the /r/Google subreddit Gmail will begin to look similar to Google Inbox very soon as its useful features will be introduced.

Is this leak true?

A Redditor provided the screenshot you can see above claiming that it came from a Google Internal Testing build. The new Material Theme redesign that has just been introduced can be clearly seen there, but, in addition to that, we can also see the pinned items, the bundles, and the reminders. We still do not know if the Google Tasks system will benefit from the reminders or if the Google Assistant will take up that job. We got our hopes up that this leak is not fake.

What is the deadline?

If you are a fan of the Inbox Application from Google, you can use Inboxit by XDA Senior Member SagiLo as a replacement to use one of Google’s program most used features until it is introduced to Gmail as well. The Gmail development team is still working on providing all these features to its users according to /u/moodio. However, as the deadline is in March, we can at least expect that at least a part of the features will be ported by then.

What do you think about Google Inbox? Should Gmail become similar?

iOS 12 Available with 2 Jailbreak Solutions

iOS 12 has two jailbreak solutions available for the iPhone and iPad, two different hackers choose to offer them to customers around the world. Unfortunately, we are talking about jailbreak solutions for iOS 12 dedicated to application developers, that is, one does not have an installation package, and the other only works through SSH, but not with packages from Cydia.

OsirisJailbreak12 is the first jailbreak solution released sometime earlier this week, but unfortunately, it is not available as an application to automatically install. It is offered as a package that must be compiled with Xcode first, and installed in phones with a developer certificate, but of course it does not have Cydia, and support for tweaks.

The second jailbreak solution for iOS 12 is called rootlessJB 3.0, and is only compatible with devices that have A9, A10 and A11 chips.
Unfortunately, this solution only works through SSH, so it does not have Cydi, and the installation of tweaks is impossible for now because no support has been implemented by the developer.

It is unclear how long it will take for both jailbreak solutions to have full support for jailbreak, and can be easily used on the iPhone and iPad.

Samsung Galaxy S10E (Lite) Appears In Official Renders, Reportedly

While Samsung Galaxy S10 (standard version) and S10 Plus are generating a huge buzz, at the moment, and appear in the majority of the most recent leaks, now we’re going to talk about Samsung Galaxy S10E (popularly dubbed Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite). Reportedly, the first official renders of the device appeared on the Internet, says the German tech news site WinFuture.

“The Samsung Galaxy S10E, where Samsung probably uses a small ‘E’ as name suffix, will differ in some points from the larger and more expensive models. Of course, the size is particularly striking in comparison, as the display is much smaller with a 5.8-inch diagonal than the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus. Moreover, the panel is completely flat and not rounded to the back at the sides as it is the case with the other models,” the German tech news site reported in an article.

Another difference would be that Samsung ditched the implementation of an in-display fingerprint sensor in Galaxy S10E (Lite). Instead, the South Korean company decided to adopt a Sony Xperia-like concept, meaning that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Lite would boast a fingerprint reader to the right side of the device. Thus, the power button also becomes the fingerprint reader.

Samsung Galaxy S10E (Lite) Appears In Official Renders, Reportedly

As for the allegedly official Samsung Galaxy S10E renders, you can see them below, courtesy of WinFuture, a German tech news portal.

Samsung Galaxy S10E would come out on February 20th, along with its “big brothers,” Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, and it would boast 6 Gb of RAM, 128 Gb of internal storage, and a dual-camera system on the back. Also, it would pack either Exynos or a Snapdragon chipset, but we don’t have further details on the specific SoC models that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite would equip.

Electra’s iOS 11.4.1 Jailbreak Latest Details

Coolstar’s iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak was finally released. Even though for that version of iOS, theirs is not the first jailbreak tool, if you are a person who prefers Electra tools over other developers’ creations, you will be pleased to hear the news. A publicly-available jailbreak for iOS 12 is still yet to come so this is the best we can get.

Electra 1.2.3 supports iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak

Electra 1.2.3 is the newest version of the jailbreak tool from Coolstar, and it is compatible with iOS 11.0 through iOS 11.4.1. iOS 11.4.1 was supported for the first time by Electra 1.2.0, but people who tried it claim it was causing some out of nowhere crashes.

To fix the crashing problem, as a result, Electra 1.2.1 was rolled out rather quickly based on what Redmond Pie says. Since then, the website of the Electra team has been updated with additional versions of their iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak. Now the async_wake so jailbreaking 11.0-11.1.2 works properly and the nonce generator button not working issue has been solved.

In July last year was released the first Electra IPA, and the first jailbreak to support iOS 11 through 11.3.1 was also Electra IPA. Pwn20wnd released its unc0ver jailbreak after that release, and their creation seemed to have a better stability than Electra.

Details on Electra’s iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak

According to Redmond Pie Electra enjoys a core following. What they mean by that is that Electra’s iOS 11.4.1 jailbreak being released will make many people happy. Because the jailbreak tool from Electra does not require users to have an Apple developer account anymore to be allowed to use it, it is great. In addition to that, on Twitter, the Electra team said that their tool couldn’t be compared with the vfs exploit redundant as now it employs the newer voucher_swap exploit.

Additional Ways to Use Electra Jailbreak

Electra jailbreak tool updated to version 1.2.0 with support to jailbreak iOS 11.4 to iOS 11.4.1

The latest update of the Electra Team was announced on Twitter, and they mentioned that the new exploit is called voucher_swap. Compared to VFS exploits or the conventional multi_path, the exploit is way more reliable. Many people use these types of exploits. If you want to see the  entire changelog of Electra 1.2.0 update with support for iOS 11.4 and iOS 11.4.1 you can do so below:

– Add async_wake exploit to add support for iOS 11.0 – 11.1.2

– Support iOS 11.4 – 11.4.1

– Fix overnight reboots

– Use voucher_swap exploit instead of empty_list for iOS 11.2 – 11.4.1

– Reverted app to git commit 9d9762bdf46f19c4082d82798af41ca273fb0e37 before all code was rewritten from there forward

– Add threadm1ll exploit as an option for iOS 11.2 – 11.4.1 users on A7 or A8 devices

In addition to that, A10 and A11 devices are also supported by Electra 1.2.0. When an exploit for iOS 11.4, and iOS 11.4.1 device was released by tihmstar, previously, to put the magic to work a headphone jack was required. With that being said, this requirement restricted the jailbreak to iPhones older than the 7th generation.

You can find “15A372-15E302” using the hex editor if you are tech-savvy enough and in the binary of electra1141 replace it with “15A372-15G770”  to fix app crashes on iOS 11.2.x. If you do not want to do anything until the official build arrives, you do not have too much to wait.

If you are interested, you can download the Electra 1.2.0 from the official website from the Electra Team. You should keep in mind that before doing so, any pending OTA software updates must be deleted especially if they are from the host device and install tvOS beta profile on the device.
