New Galaxy S10 Leaks Suggest Four S10 Models And 5G Connectivity

5G is a new field to be conquered by the giants of the smartphone industry. Samsung seems to want to position itself among the first to adopt the new connectivity standard by launching their anniversary Galaxy S10 smartphone with 5G connectivity.

The upcoming 5G seems to be the new challenge which all the tech firms, like Samsung and Huawei, want to address as quickly as possible. And Samsung is no stranger to it if we believe a new leak about the upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone, which could sign the return of the flat screen, as found by the famous XDA-Developers team.

Keep in mind that anything might change until the new Galaxy S10 hit the shelves, so the final version of the device might not come out with 5G connectivity, eventually.

Samsung Galaxy S10 could boast 5G connectivity, according to the latest leaks made available by XDA-Developers

The XML files from the last update of the Galaxy S9 signal for the presence of not less than four Samsung Galaxy S10 models of the next year. In other words, the South Korean tech giant seems to be counting on a multitude of models for its anniversary flagship. Among these, 5G compatibility could be found, probably in the most expensive model.

These XML files suggest four Galaxy S10 handsets dubbed as Beyond 0, 1, 2 and 2 5G. The latter would also boast the largest screen and would also be equipped with a fingerprint reader under the display. If Samsung is to offer a 5G-compatible model, it would undoubtedly hit the market before or at the same time as Huawei, which seems determined to follow this path after outperforming Apple in the last quarter.

Of course, this information reported by XDA-Developers team should be taken with a grain of salt. However, in the past, the site has been right many times, especially with this method of reading XML files.

Why is WhatsApp the best instant messaging app in the world?

WhatsApp is a free app and, besides that, it doesn’t imply additional costs for texting or calling your friends as it runs on the Internet, be it 3G or 4G connection or WiFi. You can text, phone, or video call how much you like and how many times you want, and you won’t consume one cent for that but only your mobile data, that if you don’t use WiFi.

Also, WhatsApp permits users to share multimedia files, as well as documents instantly, allows for free group chats, there’s no need to sign up (WhatsApp uses your phone number), and enables offline messages.

Above all, with WhatsApp, you can share your location, set custom wallpapers, access email chat history, backup your messages, exchange contacts, and many other features.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.18.298 Beta is now available

The new WhatsApp Messenger 2.18.298 Beta rolled out recently with new changes and improvement regarding group chat functions of the renowned instant messaging app.

Lenovo S5 Pro Would Be The First Four-Camera Smartphone Of The Chinese Manufacturer

Lenovo VP Chang Cheng released a teaser for the upcoming Chinese manufacturer’s Lenovo S5 Pro handset which would be the first Lenovo four-camera smartphone. The Lenovo official posted an image on Weibo, the renowned Chinese social network, taken with the upcoming S5 Pro smartphone.

Lenovo S5 Pro would be the first four-camera smartphone of the Chinese producer

The photo shared by Chang Cheng is a low-resolution image, so it’s not revealing any detail on the quality of the cameras on the future Lenovo S5 Pro. Also, this is clearing up some confusion created by some rumors that said the upcoming four-camera device of the Chinese manufacturer would be the Z5 Pro which would be announced today. Now, we know it’s not about that, but about the Lenovo S5 Pro which resembles with the future Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

According to the watermarks appearing on the image shared by Lenovo VP Chang Cheng on Weibo revealed that the snapshot was captured using Super 2X Optical Zoom mode and it also confirms that the S5 Pro’s camera app would be backed up by Artificial Intelligence.

In short, the upcoming Lenovo S5 Pro would be the first four-camera smartphone of this Chinese manufacturer.

Lenovo S5 Pro rumored technical specifications

We expect Lenovo S5 Pro to come out as an updated variant of the Lenovo S5 the Chinese producer launched in March this year. Also, we don’t believe the new version would roll out with significant improvements, excepting the four-camera setup on its back.

Lenovo S5 came out with a 5,7-inch display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32 Gb internal storage. Accordingly, the upcoming Lenovo S5 Pro might come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 or Snapdragon 630, 6 Gb of RAM, and 128 Gb internal memory.

Thus, the most significant change we’ll witness would be the Lenovo S5 Pro’s quad-camera setup on its back. Accordingly, Lenovo S5 Pro would be the first four-camera smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer, similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, also a Chinese smartphone that would boast four main cameras.

WhatsApp Update for Nokia Asha Users Available with New Fixes and Security Features

Even though Nokia Asha phones are no longer being made, some people still use them. They should get the new WhatsApp update for their phone as soon as possible. The reasons include the fact that the phone will then have an app with all the latest fixes, features, and security updates.

See what Nokia Asha Devices Are supported

In 2013 Nokia was bought by Microsoft. Many people considered Asha a bridging device and due to some other difficulties it needed to be discontinued. The focus of the company moved onto to the Lumia series and some other Nokia-branded phone. Even this year we got a low-end phone from them, Nokia 1.

With that being said, Asha devices still support WhatsApp. The list includes: 205 Chat Edition, 230 Single SIM, 300, 303, 306, 310, 500, 502, 201, 210, 230 Dual SIM, 302, 305, 308, 311, 501, 503.

By the end of this year, Nokia S40 will no longer have Whatsapp support so you should keep an eye on this list.

Update Now Before It’s Too Late

WhatsApp is evolving, but unfortunately, it can’t make the older phones evolve too so the app will no longer be available for Nokia S40 since 31st of December and neither for other apps starting with 2020. From 1st of February 2020 phones running on Android versions older than 2.3.7 will no longer support WhatsApp and neither will iPhones running on iOS 7 and older.

Even though you might be saving some money to replace your Asha phone, make sure that you simultaneously update it to the new version of Whatsapp. You do not want to be stuck with an old version when the new updates stop.

With that being said make sure you replace your phone as soon as possible.
