Also, new Galaxy S10 leaks revealed more details on the upcoming flagship.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known on the Internet as OnLeaks, released some new details about Samsung Galaxy S10. According to him, the Samsung’s anniversary smartphone would be very distinguishable in comparison to the previous models since the South Korean tech company plans on releasing the upcoming flagship in “no less than 9” all-new gradient color schemes.

Samsung also seems confident in this decision, hoping to boost sales, following the example of other manufacturers, such as Huawei and other Chinese smartphones producers.

New Galaxy S10 leaks revealed that the next Samsung’s anniversary smartphone would come out in 9 all-new gradient color schemes

Last week, Samsung Mobile Division CEO DJ Koh teased Chinese media stating that the upcoming Galaxy S10 device would boast “amazing colors.” Now, according to OnLeaks (Steve Hemmerstoffer), Samsung plans to release Galaxy S10 in  9 all-new gradient color schemes. That’s precisely what Chinese smartphones already showed off for almost a year, now.

Above all, OnLeaks also announced that Samsung is getting closer to release the PVT (product validation testing) for its Galaxy S10. Accordingly, Galaxy S10 final build is just around the corner. If the variant to be proposed soon by the South Korean tech company passes its PVT phase, then that would be the final model which would be mass produced.

Needless to say, Samsung wants to offer more options of its customers by releasing Galaxy S10 in 9 all-new gradient color schemes, aiming to boost sales, following the example of Huawei, other Chinese smartphones, and, since recently, Apple which also launched its new iPhone XR model in not less than six color schemes.

The New Oppo Find X Would Be the First Smartphone In The World To Boast 10 GB RAM

TENAA, China’s regulatory body that certifies smartphones before they are released, has revealed that a new version of Oppo Find X is just around the corner, which will be equipped with 10 GB of RAM, making it the first mobile phone to have such tremendous memory. Currently, the maximum RAM we can find in mobile devices is 8 GB.

Although in recent times there have been rumors that some models would arrive with 10 GB of RAM, for example, the ASUS ROG Phone, at the moment no mobile phone has reached the market with more than 8 GB of RAM. That could change soon with the release of the new version of Oppo Find X.

The renowned Ice Universe, known for its history of successful leaks in the mobile industry, has been the first to detect the TENAA report that says the new variant of the terminal will have 10 GB of RAM. Later, the guys from Gizmochina confirmed that this is the truth, as the full list of TENAA specifications for the Oppo Find X (model PAFM00), which updated yesterday, now reveals a 10 GB RAM Oppo Find X variant.

Oppo Find X to be the first smartphone to come out with 10 GB RAM

According to the TENAA file, the rest of the specifications of the new version of Oppo Find X with 10 GB RAM would be the same as the original model. Therefore, the new Oppos Find X variant would boast a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen without edges, at a resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels, which doesn’t have a notch thanks to a motorized camera that unfolds and hides at will.

The first 10 GB RAM smartphone would also pack a Snapdragon 845 processor, the most performant CPU in the smartphone industry so far. The new Oppo Find X also has 256 GB of internal storage.

On the downside, however, the new Chinese smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo only.

The front retractable camera has a 25-MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 3D scanner for facial recognition. On the back, the new Oppo Find X boasts a dual camera system with 16-MP and 20-MP sensors, scene detection with autofocus, IOS and LED flash, which records 4K video at 30 fps.

A Canadian Company Partnered With Samsung To Develop 10-nm ASIC Chips for Bitcoin (BTC) Mining

The Canadian company Squire Mining announced on Tuesday in Vancouver, Canada, an alliance with South Korean companies Gaonchips and Samsung Electronics, for the design and production of 10-nanometer ASIC chips for Bitcoin (BTC) mining equipment.

On August 1st, Squire Mining announced that it had contracted a company to design, test and manufacture an ASIC chip for Bitcoin (BTC) mining. This Tuesday, the Canadian company stated in a press release that it chose Gaonchips as the manufacturer of the integrated microcircuits and Samsung Electronics as the producer of the 10-nanometer ASIC chips themselves.

As manufacturing equipment handles smaller scales, the same semiconductor substrate can accommodate more transistors. It is for this reason that the minimum size of the components included in the chip, or the minimum separation between two conductive wires, expressed in nanometers, determines how advanced the manufacturing process is.

While Samsung and other semiconductor manufacturers have begun to produce 7nm chips, these are more expensive than 10nm chips. Although this implies that the respective equipment has a lower hash rate than the 7 nm equipment, the price/performance ratio can be attractive in the competitive Bitcoin (BTC) mining equipment market, clearly dominated by the Chinese manufacturer Bitmain.

Canadian company partnered with Samsung to produce 10-nm ASIC chips for Bitcoin (BTC) mining

Squire programmers and developers are already working with Gaonchips on fine-tuning the first prototype of the ASIC chip, says the Canadian firm. After confirming that the prototype meets all the specifications and design requirements, they would commence the first stage of mass production of the 10-nanometer ASIC chips themselves, operated by Samsung.

The first prototype makes it possible to test the software and check that the final chip will integrate correctly with the other components of the finished Bitcoin (BTC) mining equipment.

For this purpose, a transistor matrix is used, the connections of which are programmed according to the design. This field-programmable FPGA logic gate array precedes mass production. In the case of announced ASIC chips, that FPGA prototype should be ready by the end of the month, says Squire.
