Xbox Maverick, The Disc-Less Xbox One, Would Launch In May

A series of rumors which surfaced in the past claimed that Microsoft is working on a disc-less Xbox One variant aimed at people who prefer to buy their games digitally. It was codenamed Xbox Maverick, but we recently found out that its name would be Xbox One S “All-Digital Edition.” Xbox Maverick would launch in May.

Disc-less Xbox One would come out in May, before E3 2019

A reliable source claims that the rumors are real and the new Xbox One model would be released across all the existing Xbox markets which can be found in the world. A previous report suggested that Microsoft will reveal the disc-less Xbox One and another premium variant during the E3 conference which is scheduled for June. Microsoft has plenty of time at its disposal, and it may change its options in the following weeks.

However, some analysts believe that Microsoft will reveal the next generation of Xbox consoles at E3. It is thought that the device will offer a substantial power improvement in that will overtake the native 4K capabilities of the Xbox One X. Accordingly, the disc-less Xbox One, the Xbox Maverick, would come out before E3, in May.

The firsts clues which suggested that Microsoft is working on a next-generation console surfaced in 2017 when the device was first spotted under the codename of Xbox Scarlett. At E3 2018 Xbox chief Phil Spencer teased that the company is hard at work on the internal architecture of a new Xbox console and promised that the device would be able to impose a new benchmark for console gaming.

Microsoft might announce next-generation consoles at E3 2019

Several sources note that Microsoft plans to two consoles at the start. Xbox Anaconda will be a powerhouse, employing the latest AMD processor to deliver unrivaled performance and a high-power AMD GPU should provide an impressive graphical experience, but the price could be on par with the improved specifications.

Xbox Lockhart will be a budget version, but most details have remained shrouded in mystery at this point. It is likely that it is based on the Xbox One S and the features provided should be more than enough for the average gamer.

Until Microsoft provides an official announcement, we can only hope that the next generation of Xbox consoles and the disc-less Xbox One will be as great as they appear to be.

Samsung Galaxy S10 models’ displays score an impressive result at DisplayMate

The same score was also offered to the award-winning Google Pixel 3, but the Samsung device managed to continue the stellar legacy of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 while also outperforming them.

According to a DisplayMate representative, the Samsung Galaxy S10 imposed a new bar for color accuracy and high image contrast accuracy. The peak luminosity level is also more prominent than all the other devices which were previously tested.  S10 displays reach the lowest screen reflectance, among other feats, too.

The organization has also appreciated the support for HDR10+ which means that the device can play 4K HDR content at a native resolution, allowing users to enjoy a great Netflix binge on the go.

Galaxy S10 models are some impressive smartphones with many new features

Samsung has recently released the Galaxy S10 series to critical acclaim as reviewers and consumers alike were impressed by the performance of the new devices. Besides the fabulous display, Samsung added a selection of new and exciting features to the company’s new smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 models can charge other smartphones or smart accessories which are compatible with the wireless charging standard used by the device. The feature is particularly handy if you also opt to buy the brand-new Galaxy Buds, which can use the feature. The battery of the device isn’t big enough to use it as a power bank, but you will be able to help a friend or colleague who forgot to charge their device.

The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor demands a small learning curve, but the device gets unlocked in a flash. The added security level is also high. The Samsung Galaxy S10 devices come with One UI pre-loaded, and they feature Android Pie, offering a remarkable experience. The Galaxy S10 series seems very successful for the moment, but it remains to be seen if it will be able to generate more revenue in comparison to the Galaxy S9 lineup.

Microsoft Edge Based On Chromium Leaked Online In Some Images

Microsoft announced back in December 2018 that the company will rebuild Edge with the help of Chromium technology offered by Google. The primary reason for the change is the fact that it will provide a better experience for Windows 10 users and web developers alike.

Chromium is an open-source project which can be easily accessed and customized by any interested entity or individual. If the features added are deemed to be useful Google has the freedom to add them in a future version of Chrome without the need to ask for the permission of the creator. Opera was the first independent browser which switched to Chromium. Apple’s Safari and Mozilla Firefox are independent for now, but the situation could change in the future.

Microsoft Edge launched as a replacement for Internet Explorer, as the latter gained an infamous reputation, with many PC users declaring that it’s the best tool for downloading other browsers.

Microsoft Edge Based On Chromium Leaked Online In Some Images

A series of screenshots have been leaked, revealing how the future Microsoft Edge based on Chromium looks in the current stage of development. Those that hoped for a different default search engine will be disappointed to learn that Microsoft is still pushing Bing as the default solution.

The new tab features a minimalistic design. The address bar and the placement of the Settings and Extensions icons are quite similar to the default layout used by Chrome. When a new tab is open, an image of the day will be shown in the background with a Bing search bar being featured in the middle of the image. In the lower part of the page, the users will be able to click on a row which highlights the most visited web sites and a larger new tab button.

The screenshots look quite promising but what we see is almost certainly an alpha version. Until a stable version is released in the future, Microsoft has enough time to change it and add a little bit of personality.
