Biometric Authentication: IOS or Android?

We all know that every smartphone update comes together with lots of features that are meant to improve your experience with the device – from functionality to aesthetics. We’re talking about the evolution of the authentication of the smartphone experience. At first, we had passcodes, then fingerprint codes, then facial recognition – the security certainly changed a lot, and it has defined the experience people had with the devices.

If we’re thinking about ten years ago, smartphones offered us access to calendar, contacts and the internet. If we’re thinking about today, there are more than 3 billion users that use their smartphone to put their most intimate information, like credit card numbers, location tracking and passwords. Smartphones are done to deal with every aspect of the everyday life, and the team behind them are constantly working on how to take care of your personal data, while they’re also working on keeping a positive user experience.

The difference between iOS and the Android devices stands in the biometric authentication – it’s a very important aspect. Biometric authentication really means the utilization of the biological characteristics in order to unlock the phone, authorize payments and verify all the things that would actually require a password.  Apple has Face ID and Android has in-screen fingerprint sensors, but the real question is how this affects the costumers.

Android

Android came with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 as his first flagship, and it had facial recognition – it basically scanned your iris. The Samsung of today comes with no less than four biometric authentications: iris scanning, facial recognition, intelligent scan and fingerprint scan.

iOS

Apple’s Face ID is, however, the most advanced app and the most representative aspect of this technology. It can be fooled by family members who have the same facial features, and hackers can get past it, as well. But it’s harder to do it than it is with Android.

iOS 12.1 Jailbreak Users Update – What’s There To Know

A new iOS update has been recently released by Apple, adding a host of new features. The jailbreak community is torn apart by this, as some users want to upgrade right now while others claim that they should wait for a possible iOS 12.1 jailbreak.

When a new update is released the average user will immediately install it in order to make the most out of the new features. The jailbreak community always thinks twice when it comes to updates since they love to play with their devices. The lack of a viable jailbreak update means that they will be forced to abandon their beloved jailbreak functions in order to enjoy the latest improvements brought by official updates.

Should they update now?

If you want to jailbreak your device or use a jailbroken device the answer is clearly no. There is no jailbreak alternative for iOS 12.1 and downgrading is impossible. It seems that iOS 12 is quite hard to jailbreak as the last stable jailbreak version stopped at iOS 11.2 or the iOS 11.4 beta (between branches 1 and 3).

There are signs that a jailbreak version of iOS 12 could appear in the future but no words on a definite release date. Apple increased the security of the iOS environment and it took modders months to even find vulnerabilities. Now the real work starts as they will have to crack the software.

Apple has made it clear that jailbreaking is not desirable and it seems that additional resources was used in order to make iOS 12 harder to breach. Several modders are working on a viable jailbreak version but each iOS update further complicates the task. While some have claimed that they have managed to jailbreak iOS 12 they didn’t offer any proof.

It remains to be seen if a stable release will come in the following months and what will Apple do in order to block future jailbreak attempts. Until then keep your device on iOS 11 and check out Electra if you want to make the jump to freedom.

The New iOS Software Will Overcome The Previous One – Downgrade Became Impossible

After the release of the latest version iOS 12.0, Apple made it impossible for users to downgrade back to iOS 12 version due to the issues that came with it. By applying this policy, the Apple Company is limiting the access to iOS 12.0.1.

The iOS 12 version of software came out in September and had a pretty bad feedback from the Apple users. There were battery life problems, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the iMesagges were sent to wrong contacts and so one. Also when it come to latest devices, iPhone XS and XS Max there were reported hardware and communication issues, the handsets would automatically connect to Wi-Fi network at 2.4GHz and not to 5GHz like is supposed to do. Some iPhone devices would not even charge when they were connected with a lightning cable.

These are some of the reasons why Apple launched iOS 12.0.1; to fix the bugs.

Apple policy of blocking the possibility to go back at the previous version of software is a bold move. This strategy prevents users from experience others issues and have the device always up to date and with better running software.

After Apple gave the fifth beta version of iOS 12.1out for tests and evaluation, the code singing stoppage was available in short time. The release will be this week and it will come with an update support for Group Facetime and a new collection of emoji. The new version will give you a better experience on your device: Life Balance features, Memoji, Siri will have better integration and the ability to search multiple terms at once, Do Not Disturb is extended to Do Not Disturb at Bedtime, and a new feature Screen Time shows users how much time they use each app and they can limit their own time.

Xender for iOS Is The Fastest File Sharing Application on App Store

There are many ways to transfer files from one device to another. Whether by cable, Bluetooth, NFC, or over the network, our phones have a wide range of possibilities that allow us to transfer photos, images, and videos quickly. But although there are a lot of methods to share files between devices, as well as lots of such apps on App Store, Xender for iOS is an application that enhances the concept of file sharing.

Xender is the fastest file sharing app, by 200 times faster than Bluetooth

Xender allows you to transfer files of any type from your device, regardless of whether it is Android, iOS, PC, or Windows Phone, to any other device, be it a phone, tablet or a computer.

To do that, the application uses a local network through which several devices are connected, allowing file transfers at high speeds. So, by using Xender, you can transfer a 50MB video, for example, in just a few seconds. In fact, Xender: File Transfer & Sharing is allegedly 200 times faster than Bluetooth and for obvious reasons more comfortable than using USB cables.

Additionally, we can transfer data between a smartphone and a computer by only scanning a QR code within the Xender Web app and without needing to install any type of software. With Xender we will also be able to stream from our mobile to a computer, being this function of great interest if we are away from home.

Xender for iOS for the fastest file sharing system on Apple

Designed especially for mobile devices, Xender for iOS couldn’t be missing. Supporting many languages (English, Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) and all the common Xender features plus the new “phone replicate” (backs up your data like contacts, images, etc. when you change your phone), Xender for iOS is the fastest file sharing app on App Store.
