iPhone 11 Game-Changing Display Technology and New Improvements

The iPhone has been a hit since it was first released and each year thousands of fans gather outside Apple Stores in order to be the first to buy the new iteration of the well-known smartphone.

This year’s iPhone could bring some new and exciting features in the form of the iPhone 11. Read below to learn more.

A game-changing display technology

Apple loves to innovate and bring new features on its smartphones. It is likely that the company may premiere a new display type and some believe that it may have developed a new manufacturing method that would allow the insertion of the front camera behind the display.

New technological improvements

Select patent documents hint that Apple may be working on side displays that could enhance the functionality of the next iPhone. Some sources believe that Apple may decide to include something similar to the Touch Bar present on the MacBook Pro. This would allow users to customize the buttons shown on the bar according to their liking.

The company may decide to also improve the internal specifications of the smartphone. The device may receive a higher quantity of RAM, with 6 or 8GB looking like a suitable target. A new and improved A13 processor could bring added performance while a revamped Neural Processing Unit could bring advanced capabilities to the device. Since 5G networks are not available in most part of the world it is likely that we will have to wait a little more for a 5G iPhone since the company prefers to use the improved versions of some technologies in order to deliver the best performance possible to its customers.

Refined design

The iPad Pro 2018 was very well-received and a future incarnation of the iPhone may mimic the successful design. The notch could be minimized or removed completely in order to maximize the size of the display.

Until the official reveals in September fans can only dream that the next iPhone will be great.

iPhone 11 Might Boast A Side-Mounted Touch Bar Display

The future iPhone 11 might come out with a second screen in a feat similar to what we see on the MacBook Pro. The iPhone 11 could feature this side-mounted touch bar display to give quick access to some applications.

Even though Apple has recently released its iPhone 2018 models, dubbed iPhone XS, XS Max, and iPhone XR, people’s attention redirected to the future 2019 iPhone models. While we don’t know yet how the next year’s Apple smartphones would be named, the majority of the reports indicate to iPhone 11 or XI.

However, increasingly more rumors are coming out talking about new features on iPhone 11. In a recent leak, spotted by PatentlyApple, the Cupertino-based company is working on a side-mounted touch bar display for its 2019 iPhone models. According to PatentlyApple, Apple filed a patent showing the project of the second screen the company plans to add to iPhone 11.

iPhone 11 Might Boast A Side-Mounted Touch Bar Display

As the patent indicated, the side-mounted touch bar display would be a handy feature in iPhone 11, allowing users to turn on the WiFi or data connection quickly, or, while using the camera, to access additional options, such as turning on/off the flashlight, zoom in/zoom out, and so on, without losing your grip. That would improve the quality of the images.

The best part of that, as the new patent filed by Apple revealed, is that the side-mounted touch bar display would also be available in 2019 iPad models and, most likely, in the super mobile MacBook variant. To add the side-mounted touch bar display to the next-year iPhone 11 model, Apple might work that out by implementing it within a strengthened glass side layer.

While this information came via a patent Apple recently filed, the Cupertino-based company did not yet confirm that the side-mounted touch bar display would indeed come out along with iPhone 11. Most probably, we’ll find out more details about 2019 iPhone models early next year since iPhone 11 models would more likely come out in September 2019.

Apple Might Implement In-Display Fingerprint Sensor in iPhone 11

The design of the iPhone X has been revolutionary, prompting other brands to develop a reasonably similar scheme in their new equipment. But even though, in its latest iPhone 2018 models, Apple did not offer anything new, other than an increase in size and a more powerful CPU, it seems that they have been planning on some new features for iPhone 11 and the other 2019 iPhone devices., including an in-display fingerprint sensor.

According to a tech news portal, Apple company, based in Cupertino, in the US, would be seriously considering the possibility of coming with a new fingerprint reader.

Although it doesn’t seem to be anything new, since this security mode had already been included in its previous devices, the giant tech firm would introduce n in-display fingerprint sensor, a function that other manufacturers, such as Samsung, have already implemented.

Apple Might Implement In-Display Fingerprint Sensor in iPhone 11

Accordingly, the new feature that the Cupertino-based company wants to implement in their next year’s iPhone 11 device would be the in-display fingerprint sensor. This new functionality would form an integral part of the screen, with a technology that has been named “In Display.” However, that’s not a premiere since Samsung, and other manufacturers have already implemented.

All these rumors arise from the fact that Apple seems to be conducting some negotiations and deals with Chinese companies such as the O-Film, which would become the leading suppliers of components to develop and implement this relatively new technology in Apple’s 2019 iPhone models.

It’s a predictable move since, so far, Apple’s newest devices have only Face ID and standard security features. The ability to include an in-display fingerprint sensor would make users’ interaction with the devices much more reliable and secure, so next year we may see a new iPhone with an “In Display” fingerprint reader.

iPhone 11 Leaks and Rumors – Here’s Everything We Know

Although the new iPhone 2018 models, iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, just rolled out, we’re already looking forward to the 2019 iPhone models. And, about one year before their release, some iPhone 11 leaks and rumors have already emerged online. According to them, we should expect a better device regarding performance, photography, and more.

While we don’t even know how Apple would name its 2019 iPhone model (let’s call it iPhone 11), some rumors already appeared on the Internet. Here’s everything we know about the next year’s Apple smartphone.

iPhone 11 Release Date and Price

You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that Apple is rolling out its new iPhone models in September. In case they keep this tradition, the Cupertino-based tech giant would launch the next year’s iPhone 11 in September 2019. Even more, it should be in the first half of the month.

We may very well receive three models of iPhone 11, and iPhone 11 standard, a Max version, and a more affordable iPhone 11 R variant. Besides, the 2019 iPhone models would also cost as this year’s models. So, iPhone 11 variants would range between $749 and $1,099.

iPhone 11 Might Boast A Revamped Design

Usually, Apple is bringing significant design changes for its iPhone device once every two years. Since iPhone X, which launched in 2017, and the iPhone 2018 models are following the same lines, we should expect a considerably revamped design in iPhone 11. According to some Apple patents, the Cupertino-based company might ditch the notch and adopt in-display selfies camera and sensors for its 2019 iPhone models.

Face ID would also be available, so there are no reasons to worry for the fans of this unlocking system.

iPhone 11 Technical Specs

We don’t have many iPhone leaks and rumors on the 2019 iPhone models technical specs, but, according to the famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the next year’s Apple flagship smartphones would boast the same display sizes as the iPhone 2018 models, namely, 6.1 inches, 5.8 inches, and 6.5 inches.
