Best Mobile Games That Could Replace PUBG

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, has become one of the most popular mobile games and it has many devoted players. The goal of the game is to be the last player who survives on the battleground.

If you feel like you need a break for PUBG or if you are a huge fan of this game and you are looking for something similar, take a look below. We have come up with a list that includes the best battle royale games.

Survivor Royale

Many players agree that Survivor Royale is almost a perfect copy of PUBG. The idea behind the game is the same one, there are 100 different players, and only one survives. Survivor Royale also comes with some high-quality graphics that you will definitely enjoy. Another great thing about this game is that you will be able to customize your avatar.

Pixel’s Unknown Battle Grounds

One of the biggest disadvantages of PUBG is the act that it requires a lot of RAM and a good processor. This means that not all mobile phones are able to handle it. If you are in this situation, you should know that Pixel’s Unknown Battle Grounds represents a great alternative. The graphics will definitely remind you of Minecraft as well.

Free Fire – Battlegrounds

Free Fire – Battlegrounds will make 50 players battle against each other for 10 minutes. The last one standing is the winner. The graphics of this game look like a mix between PUBG and Fortnite, and the result is quite pleasant.

Rules of Survival

In this game, you should also be the last man standing in order to win. Rules of Survival also has a PC version, just like PUBG. Nonetheless, you should know that mobile players won’t be able to play with PC ones.

PUBG Mobile Has A Bright Future As It Just Exceeded 100 Million Downloads, Worldwide

PlayersUnkown Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, is in the gaming landscape for some time now. Its boom in popularity was questionable at first when it launched on both the Android and iOS mobile platforms. On the other hand, some gamers believe that PUBG is the best game ever on mobile devices, although the “PUBG Vs. Fortnite” saga is far from ending. But, regardless of that, PUBG has a bright future as it just exceeded 100 million downloads, worldwide.

PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds managed to bring all the goods from console/PC version to mobile devices

In fact, PUBG playability is unrivaled in the mobile game world, and, besides, the game comes with all the features you need, including realistic graphics, an interactive environment, and intense gameplay, among others.

And all those features are more common for console or PC games, but PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds managed to bring that to mobile devices which, above all, is the ideal recipe for success.

PUBG for mobile platforms is maybe the coolest gaming adventure on Android, at least.

PUBG just exceeded 100 million downloads, worldwide, ensuring a bright future for itself

With all those facts presented above in mind, there is no surprise that PUBG managed to exceed 100 million downloads around the world. As many might see it as a heavy game with intensive graphics content, others (to be read “the majority”) consider its addictive gameplay is enough to make any possible shortcomings fade away.

Now, as PUBG mobile exceeded the 100 million downloads mark, the future for this game is brighter than it has ever been, as this achievement is the irrefutable proof that PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds for Android and iOS is a very appreciated video game.

What about the PUBG Vs. Fortnite saga?

In my opinion, there is no reason to compare two great games. However, honestly, PUBG outperforms Fortnite, to some extent. First of all, Fortnite is not available on Google Play Store, while, secondly, the game runs on a limited number of devices, is based on an invitation system, and has several restrictions that might ruin the gameplay.

As for PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds, its devs seem to work for the gamers instead of working only for profits, as a PUBG Lite version, newly released in the Philippines, make the game runnable on budget level smartphones.

PUBG vs. Fortnite – Fighting for the Title of the Best Royale Game

PUBG and Fortnite are two of the most popular battle royale games. Due to PUBG’s success, the battle royale genre, where you have to fight for survival against 99 other players, has become extremely widespread throughout gamers. Players have the option to play either alone, in a team of four people or in pairs. At the end of the game, the winner, which is the last person or squad that survived on the battlefield, is welcomed by a funny greeting, “winner, winner, chicken dinner.”

Battlegrounds was launched in March 2017 and it has gained tremendous popularity since then. This multiplayer game developed by PUBG, a subsidiary of Bluehole, made quite a strong impact on the gaming world. More than 40 million copies were sold for PC and for the Xbox One console. You can also play this game on Android and iOS phones for free.

Fortnite fighting for the title of the best royale game

Coming from behind to beat PUBG is Fortnite, an open world survival game that pits players against zombies and which was launched in July 2017 by publisher Epic Games. A spin-off from the original game, the newly developed Fortnite Battle Royale was released last year in September. Now this is the version that has managed to capture the gaming community’s attention. It seems that Fortnite Battle Royale has too many things in common with PUBG, therefore Epic Games is being sued for copyright infringement by PUBG Corp.

Compared to Battlegrounds, the Fortnite videogame is free-to-play on PC, iOS, Android, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So far, according to the SuperData Research company, Fortnite Battle Royale generated $296 million in April this year. Compared to $700 million that was made by PUBG last year, it looks like Epic’s Fortnite is advancing pretty fast in the battle against PUBG.

Differences between the games

Compared to PUBG, the players from Fortnite are allowed to build the covers they need against the opponents’ fire. These structures can be: stairs, walls, rooftops. When it comes to the map, PUBG offers a choice of two different locations, while Fortnite has only one map for now.

Regarding the graphics, PUBG’s world is fairly realistic, compared to the very colorful environment from Fortnite. Also, the no-blood feature from Fortnite might gain some points for this game.

These two games clearly share a very similar idea, however, different means were used to implement it.
