This event brings many unique things. For instance, the Pokemon that appear early in the Gen 1 games will spawn a lot more frequently in the wild. More than that, players will be glad to find out that shiny versions of Pidgey and Rattata, as well as Kanto Pokemon, can be found in Raid Battles. It isn’t that simple to get the shiny versions, so you should take advantage of this event.

More than that, during the Pokemon Day event, users will also be able to meet special versions of Eevee and Pikachu. The two Pokemon monsters will receive a particular accessory, and players will see them wearing a festive, flower crown. You can spot Eevee and Pikachu with the help of special Field Research tasks, or you can just find them in the wild.

The new Pokemon GO event, Pokemon GO Day 2019, which started yesterday, February 27th, will take place until 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on February 28th, today. If you head over to the official Pokemon GO website, you will be able to find more details about this special event. In other news, thanks to the latest Pokemon GO update, the game also received some new additions, such as the new AR photo mode, Go Snapshot, and the appearance of the Smeargle Pokemon to the game, which can be captured using the AR mode.
