The new wireless audio technology from the Apple AirPlay 2.0 was presented at WWDC 2017, although the truth did not have the attention expected, as it was overshadowed by iOS 11, the launch of HomePod, MacOS High Sierra, and a new line of computers. However, if you are an Apple user, you can not downplay the importance of all the benefits AirPlay 2 brings, as it allows not only send images, videos and more, via WiFi but, also, is compatible with Sonos speakers and can create an audio network for the whole home.

Best of all, finally, after several months of development, AirPlay 2 finally arrived to provide Apple device users with innovations and advances in wireless audio interaction. The new AirPlay 2 technology allows Apple’s HomeKit to communicate and send audio to multiple compatible “receiving” speakers in the home to create a cinematic atmosphere.

Best of all, even one of the most popular audio company, Sonos, has promised support for AirPlay 2, which means you can stream your favorite songs to Sonos One and HomePod simultaneously. All you need to do is use the iOS Home app to tag and organize your different speakers.

AirPlay 2 works with iOS 11 and MacOS 10.13 High Sierra or later, which means that if you’re using an Apple device at home with those operating systems, you can control audio playback through AirPlay2. The same goes for Apple TV and Apple TV 4K streaming devices. TvOS 11 (released in the fall of 2017) turns your Apple TV into an “emitter” device and a “receiver” device, so if you have a traditional audio system connected to the Apple TV, it will become part of the AirPlay 2 ecosystem, even if the speakers are not directly compatible with it.

Also, because AirPlay 2 is an open API, any developer or manufacturer can ask Apple to add support for their application or device, so unlike Sonos, for example, you won’t need to play music from a specific application only.

Bethesda To Launch Two More Fallout 76 Updates In December

Todd Howard may have anticipated the severe problems that would accompany the launch of Fallout 76, but it is unlikely that Bethesda would have thought it would be necessary to take such an assessment two weeks after the release of its game. An average Metacritic score of 50, bugs, the fans’ disappointment, and a disappointing commercial start to the point of immediately lowering the price of the game. It is difficult to say whether Fallout 76 can be repaired to the point of reaching a level of quality and interest considered satisfactory by the majority, but it is certain that Bethesda has to try anyway.

In addition to communicating the details of its updates on the official website of the game, Bethesda went to Reddit yesterday to speak more directly to the community.

“We know you’re frustrated and angry about the current state of things, whether it’s the problems you’re having in the game or the lack of communication about fixes and updates. We didn’t want to suggest that nothing is happening behind the scenes because of our silence. We are sorry, and we will make sure that we build a better bridge between you and the development team,” the Bethesda’s post reads.

In fact, Bethesda should now communicate weekly to inform players of the points on which developers are working. Two updates are already scheduled for December, more precisely on the 4th and 11th, unless there is a last-minute change.

Bethesda To Launch Two More Fallout 76 Updates In December

The December 4th update will begin by increasing the storage limit for the safe house from 400 to 600, and it is planned to raise this level again after that, once Bethesda is confident that this action will not cause any stability problems. On the loot side, players will typically receive two or three items after shooting a boss, depending on the difficulty and level of the creature.

In the December 11th update, Bethesda will focus on adding PC-specific options, including a new aspect ratio support, a field of view adjustment, push-to-talk voice chat, and the new Bulldozer feature for the C.A.M.P. that will remove small trees, rocks and other natural obstacles that limit construction.

Another change Bethesda would implement into Fallout 76 would be that after level 50, the user will be able to choose between a new perk card or modify a SPECIAL point already assigned.

WhatsApp To Add A New Feature To Help Users Find Desired WhatsApp Stickers

WhatsApp has not yet made its stickers known to all its users. However, with a new feature that will soon be added to the service, it will become easier for mobile users to find the right WhatsApp stickers for them quickly.

Thanks to the new function in WhatsApp, users will be able to enter keywords to find the desired WhatsApp stickers that they want to use in their chats. This feature is already under development for the Android version of WhatsApp. However, WABetaInfo reported that no information has yet been collected regarding the availability of the functionality on iOS.

WhatsApp already classifies its stickers by categories

Apple users will notice some similarities between this new feature and the way emoji works on iOS devices. However, instead of offering you a search function, the apple brand uses a predictive entry system to suggest the emoji you can use.

It is not to be ruled out that WhatsApp plans to follow Apple’s lead later and use the predictive entry system on its WhatsApp stickers. Similarly, the Cupertino-based tech giant may also include stickers in its features later on, although this would only duplicate emojis and could therefore only clutter up rather than serving users.

Even if the functionality is not yet installed, WhatsApp already offers users several categories of stickers. For example, in one of the classes, users can find stickers such as “surprised”, “happy,” or “sad.” To allow a better search, WhatsApp will highlight the “Favorites” and “Most Used” categories, too.

More WhatsApp stickers to come

Currently, the instant messaging app is only offering 12 official sticker packs. Therefore, choosing the sticker that best suits your discussion and emotions is not very complicated. The more stickers on WhatsApp increase, the more useful the upcoming feature will be to users.

You can also download additional stickers, but many of them are paid. Therefore, it would not be surprising if WhatsApp would add new WhatsApp stickers designed by third parties.

Oppo RX17 Pro and Oppo RX17 Neo Unveiled By The Chinese Manufacturer

Shortly after officially introducing the Oppo Find X, the Chinese brand unveiled two new models, the Oppo RX17 Pro and a second, a mid-range model, the Oppo RX17 Neo. At a conference, the company indicated that the letter R was a reference to the words “Real, Revolution and Reform” while the X was a reference to the term “Extraordinary.”

The Oppo RX17 Pro has a dual battery

According to the technical data sheet of the Oppo RX17 Pro, the smartphone has a Snapdragon 710, as well as a fingerprint sensor under the screen, similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the OnePlus 6T. It also has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage space and runs on ColorOS 5.2 launcher.

Because the device is compatible with Oppo’s fast charging technology, you can charge your phone to 40% in just 10 minutes, while a full charge takes 40 minutes. Of particular interest is the fact that the new smartphone offers a dual 1850 mAh battery, for a total of 3700 mAh.

Oppo RX17 Pro boasts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 2340×1080 pixels. It also benefits from Gorilla Glass 6 glass protection. The Oppo RX17 Neo is a mid-range smartphone

As regarding the Oppo RX17 Neo, it has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 3600 mAh battery. The dual rear sensor comes with 2-MP and 16-MP sensors, while the selfies camera boasts 25 megapixels. However, Oppo RX17 Neo does not have SuperVOOC fast charging technology but still offers VOOC Charging.

While the competitor of the Oppo RX17 Pro is the OnePlus 6T, the rival of the Oppo RX17 Neo would be the Honor Play. The Oppo RX17 Neo is available in mocha red and astral blue.

Google Employees Demand The Cancelation Of Google China Project, Known As “Dragonfly”

Several Google employees are opposed to the search engine project in China, which would help “oppress the most vulnerable.” A hundred Google employees publicly demanded on Tuesday that the Internet giant abandon the Google China project that respects the censorship rules imposed by Beijing on Chinese Internet users.

The project is known as “Dragonfly,” and the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, announced everyone about its existence in October and justified it by the fact that it was better to offer a powerful search engine but with restrictions than to leave the Chinese with less useful tools.

“Our opposition to Dragonfly has nothing to do with China: we are opposed to technologies that help the powerful oppress the most vulnerable, wherever they may be,” says a letter signed by 90 employees calling on their colleagues to join them. “Dragonfly [Google China project] would set a dangerous precedent at a time of political uncertainty, a precedent that would prevent Google from refusing similar concessions to other countries,” the letter added.

Google China Is Beneficial, Google CEO Sundar Pichai Thinks

Several organizations also denounce the project, including Human Rights Watch, Reporters Without Borders and Amnesty International, which launched an online petition to demand its abandonment.

“This is a pivotal moment for Google,” says Joe Westby, technology and human rights researcher for Amnesty International, in an article published Tuesday on the organization’s website. “As the world’s leading search engine, it should fight for an Internet where information is freely accessible to all rather than support the Chinese government’s dark alternative,” he added.

Speaking at a conference last month in San Francisco, Sundar Pichai said Google should “think very seriously” about the Chinese market, despite criticism of the company’s potential cooperation with state censorship in China. “We always take into account a set of value. We must also follow the law that applies in each country,” said Pichai.

“It turns out that we could answer more than 99% of the research (…) There are very many cases where we would provide better quality information than what is currently available,” he added.
